So I call their office, the guy says - well do you have a cab number. No why would I have a cab number - they want to be paid in cash. There is no receipt. So whomever answers the phone, says if you don't have a number I can't help you. Isn't that nice. Aren't the cabs in contact with their main dispatcher. Wouldn't he take at least a number if the driver called in and said someone left something in the car. While the stuff in the bag wasn't really valuable or important -- what if I did leave something behind that was important. Why wouldn't the dispatcher at least take a number. There is only 1 star for the company and its dispatcher. I am giving 4 stars to the driver - who came to the office building a few hours later and asked someone outside if they knew me (I've been using these cabs for over 10 years). Lucky that it was one of my co-workers and he gave her the bag. Wow - what luck and that's why I'm giving him 4 stars. That's really a plus for the company.

Two and three word email responses from the owner led to either a miscommunication or deceit. Quite simply, I requested a roundtrip quote (home to airport with return). When being dropped at the airport, I was horrifically surprised when they told me the quoted price was each way. Sadly, the start of my vacation was spent standing in the road at the Newark airport drop-off, arguing for ten minutes on the phone with the business owner. He attempted to compromise, but it wasn't enough. A week before my trip, I emailed the owner for a clarification of their charge, asking, "do you collect half each way?" His response was, "yes, we do". I can't ever use or recommend this service again. The owner should learn to write clear emails and utilize formal price quotes like other car services. I ended up riding home at the end of my trip in a much nicer Cadillac Escalade with a different business!

And when called to confirm arrival, they hurry you off the phone and say the cab is there, on that street, etc. They should hurry to get you- not get you off the phone. Needless to say they awoke the baby I forewarned them about as well as every dog in the neighborhood - at 2am on a Tuesday morning. Absolutely do not recommend this service. Avoid them at all costs!

In a sec they told me how many cars in my area, the closest one, how many minutes away. Photo, Name, license plate, color & model of car! I used it three times. No money exchanged hands, everything is done with your account. As long as you have your phone your all set to go!!!! Uber drivers take you anywhere ( nothing is too far & return you later) including NJ, PA... No cab driver moaning about how many fares he'll lose. I am a New Yorker at heart. I know my way around the city very well. Unfortunately there is always construction going on, but I know where I'm going.

The least expensive Uber was $136.00 and the prices went up according to vehicle. That is "quadruple" what I paid two days earlier. This fee is/was, nothing but a scam and a ripoff. Totally taking advantage of weary travelers who want to get home. I would not pay the fee. I did not book an Uber. I took a taxi for $77.00 which is also expensive - but I had little choice, I paid. I will find other alternatives in the future, like hiring a neighbor.
