So glad i got to visit this delicious little gem. I randomly searched up omakese spots in vancouver…read morea while ago and this place caught my eye. I loved the menu selection so i knew i had to visit it at some point. My gf and i both tried the premium omakese nigiri set and it did not disappoint. I was so full after. I even ordered a few other things on the side. Everything was super fresh and artistically made with dedication. Something i also appreciate about this place is how clean everything was. The place was busy but it wasn't an obnoxious volume .. everyone dining there had good manners too, it wasn't one of those loud party places where you hear drunk people or alcoholics getting rowdy. Parking was super easy to find on the street and it was free. The server was really sweet, patiently waited for my gf and i to order and she gave food tips on how to enjoy the omakese spread like in what order to eat it. She gave good recommendation of which sake to pair with everything i ate. I'd definitely revisit this place and try their lunch specials.

They have free parking underground if you register your license plate with the front desk. We got the oyster motoyaki and the chicken karage as appetizers along with the salmon noodles. The motoyaki was small but very delicious while the karage I didn't think was anything too special. They hyped up the salmon noodles and the presentation was impressive but I would have to say the spicy broth/soup was a bit of a letdown. We then ordered both the salmon and tuna oshi with the tuna definitely being more of a standout.

Spotted prawns when in season, always lots of crab and lobster, clams and mussels and rock cod and red snapper. As a side note they sell cheaper lobster and crabs that aren't restaurant quality because they only have one claw. If you don't know, they taste just as good but for value I always get the double clawed because it's the best eating. I am always the only person here that doesn't speak Chinese but worry not there is always one young guy that you can talk with. I think nobody knows about this place because it has a door with bars on it and a small sandwich board as advertisement. Their prices are fair. This is a great resource for any home cook that is brave enough to venture into the dark and forbidding world of the sea

Always driven by this place on my way to dim sum or Cantonese restaurants on Victoria Drive and decided to stop in and look and was pleasantly surprised they had a whole tank of live rock cod. Live and fresh is always better if you don't mind splurging and the price per pound which included scaling and gutting the fish was fair considering what larger places like Tnt were charging for live rock fish. I would recommend this place if your favourite fish market in Vancouver Chinatown doesn't have what you are looking for, they had a large tank full of live king crab while I was there as well.

DISAPPAPPOINTMENT!!!! The ready to eat food that you help…read moreyourself was not appealing . It looked like it sat there for a few hours , reeking away . I went around 5:30 /6pm and it was a peak time and it was about to close down at peak time .??? The staff was hurriedly putting away equipment and replacing the leftovers into trays. It looked like they were hell bent to get the hell out of there . Myself and the other shoppers were aghast ... were they evacuating to escape food poisoning ??? This was reflected in the empty barbecue shop.It was devoid of char Siu,, Bbq pork Siu yuk , roasted pork and , soya chicken which were all gone . These are the Go To for take out and it was empty ??!!! There was plenty of repacked food in trays that were leftovers from the Barbecue shop and food bar . I guess it was not getting enough turnover as they prepped too much . The pricing was minimal discount of 5o cents to $1, not much of a bargain for leftover food . To reiterate as it was supper time I came to get some ready to eat food A disappointment . Next time I will go to Kent's kitchen , Supermarket 88 , Cheung Le market, Donald's Market or Walmart instead . I find this a pattern in other T&T locations as well . I may just as well also stop going to T&T altogether and also shop my groceries at the above mentioned locations as well .
