Fairly typical looking space, where it's just one big room with multiple tables to maximize the number of guests. We ordered from their Special Combo Set Dinner Menu, so we ended up trying the following: - Beijing Duck: Good. A few interesting notes on this one. First, they actually bring it out to the dining area to slice it for everyone to see, but because the dining area is so packed, they end up slicing it at a side table (or the bar), so there's no real point in doing it at all really. There's also a lot of unrendered fat on the slices, so lots of flavour, but not as carefully prepared as other places. - Duck Lettuce Wrap: OK. Good flavour, but thought it was really wet, which doesn't give a nice texture. - Seafood, Meat and Deep Fried Tofu Hot Pot: Good. Very traditional flavours, and good size - Deep Fried Pork With Spicy Chili Salt: Good. Pork was very tender. the Spicy Salt didn't really stick to the pork though. You sort of had to scoop it up separately and it to each bite to balance the flavours. - Wok Fried Eggplant and Beans: Very good. Fresh eggplant and beans, properly cooked (not too raw or overcooked) and good flavour. Service was actually a bit better than I expected, as the server had a much more outgoing personality than what I normally see in a Chinese restaurant. Other notes I made: - the floor was very slippery. I didn't notice so much going in, but walking out, I could feel my shoes slide across the floor due to the oil/grease buildup. - we sat by the live seafood tank and we noticed there was a leak, which was basically solved but placing a bunch of towels to contain it. Overall, it was good. It get's high points for value, as all the dishes were quite large. Food was generally good quality, and our particular server was quite funny. I wouldn't mind coming back.

So glad i got to visit this delicious little gem. I randomly searched up omakese spots in vancouver…read morea while ago and this place caught my eye. I loved the menu selection so i knew i had to visit it at some point. My gf and i both tried the premium omakese nigiri set and it did not disappoint. I was so full after. I even ordered a few other things on the side. Everything was super fresh and artistically made with dedication. Something i also appreciate about this place is how clean everything was. The place was busy but it wasn't an obnoxious volume .. everyone dining there had good manners too, it wasn't one of those loud party places where you hear drunk people or alcoholics getting rowdy. Parking was super easy to find on the street and it was free. The server was really sweet, patiently waited for my gf and i to order and she gave food tips on how to enjoy the omakese spread like in what order to eat it. She gave good recommendation of which sake to pair with everything i ate. I'd definitely revisit this place and try their lunch specials.

They have free parking underground if you register your license plate with the front desk. We got the oyster motoyaki and the chicken karage as appetizers along with the salmon noodles. The motoyaki was small but very delicious while the karage I didn't think was anything too special. They hyped up the salmon noodles and the presentation was impressive but I would have to say the spicy broth/soup was a bit of a letdown. We then ordered both the salmon and tuna oshi with the tuna definitely being more of a standout.

hot damn, the power of social media is something else. in a pinch for dinner, we decided to pop…read moreinto t&t for some inspiration and made a beeline for the deli. as luck would have it, papa crispy chicken was scheduled to be ready at 5:00 pm. i figured, why not wait? fifteen minutes later, there was already a line forming behind me. then, about seven minutes before 5:00 pm, a staff member dropped the bomb: only the first three people in line would get a chicken. we looked around and counted to see who would get it. the anticipation was palpable as we watched a staff member box up the chicken behind the deli counter. more hopeful customers joined the queue, only to be met with disappointment. i could have probably turned around and sold my soon-to-be prize for $24, lol. finally, at 5:06 pm, the moment arrived. the chicken came in a bright yellow box with two tiny containers of seasoning--maybe paprika, and the other a mix of salt, pepper, and yum yum sauce. they had a plastic container under the chicken, in the box, to avoid the grease from seeping on to the box. this fried chicken looked like it had been basking in the oil a bit longer than usual, but the extra crunchiness was actually pretty tasty (even an hour later) and the garlic marinade was on point. a whole fried chicken for just $12, it was a steal and totally worth the wait.

DISAPPAPPOINTMENT!!!! The ready to eat food that you help…read moreyourself was not appealing . It looked like it sat there for a few hours , reeking away . I went around 5:30 /6pm and it was a peak time and it was about to close down at peak time .??? The staff was hurriedly putting away equipment and replacing the leftovers into trays. It looked like they were hell bent to get the hell out of there . Myself and the other shoppers were aghast ... were they evacuating to escape food poisoning ??? This was reflected in the empty barbecue shop.It was devoid of char Siu,, Bbq pork Siu yuk , roasted pork and , soya chicken which were all gone . These are the Go To for take out and it was empty ??!!! There was plenty of repacked food in trays that were leftovers from the Barbecue shop and food bar . I guess it was not getting enough turnover as they prepped too much . The pricing was minimal discount of 5o cents to $1, not much of a bargain for leftover food . To reiterate as it was supper time I came to get some ready to eat food A disappointment . Next time I will go to Kent's kitchen , Supermarket 88 , Cheung Le market, Donald's Market or Walmart instead . I find this a pattern in other T&T locations as well . I may just as well also stop going to T&T altogether and also shop my groceries at the above mentioned locations as well .
