Not the friendliest of salons, they are efficient but be exact on what you want because everything has an upcharge 2 pedicures and a full set cost us $165 which is kinda pricey for the area. They strictly enforce the mask rule and they do not provide them so come prepared. Lobby is bright and clean and in a convenient location is the only reason I'd consider returning other then that make sure you get pricing up front or your $35 pedicure can turn into a $60 one with all the additional steps they don't tell you are extra until you go to pay read more

I still would give them 0 stars if I could I'm coming here again bc I'm absolutely baffled this place really won't let me talk to a manager or owner and I had to call again to try and get the rest of my refund for the lashes at least bc this is ridiculous these lashes have been nothing but painful to the point when I'm ripping out my natural lashes just to not be in so much pain. Even just pulling out one fan pulled out at least 3+ natural lashes and the lady named tin there keeps trying to say if you don't have the money for them don't get them when it's not even about having the money or wanting the money back bc I don't have it, it's bc these lashes are so painful and done incorrectly if they hadn't caused me pain I woulda never asked for a refund to begin with. These lady's here are very rude and unprofessional and get defensive anytime I mention licenses. These lady's will literally gaslight you into thinking you're wrong instead of taking accountability for not doing the job right and it was under an hour not even taped up and then tried to tell me I was never allowed in the store again after I told her multiple times I will never be coming back. The last couple photos are how the lashes look after I've had to rip them out and then the very last one is how fans SHOULD LOOK!!!!!! read more

I am a very laid back person but this was a horrible experience that left my fingers literally bleeding. I had an apointment for my friend and I for her birthday. They were very rude and rough with us. After we waited past our apointment time they told my friend to sit back down and wait her turn. When they finally sat me down I told the woman I didn't want powder I only wanted her to clip and color my natural nails. She cut my long natural nails all off so I told her to just put fake ones on I guess. She then took out powder and kept telling me she was confused when I tried to tell her I didn't want that. The worst part was she cut my fingers in several spots and when I told her it hurt and my fingers were bleeding she said "oh little pain little pain." And continued to sand my fingers until they bled more instead of stopping to get me a tissue or something. When I arrived I had very nice long natural nails and now I have these fake nails on with scabs all over my cuticles. I wish I had taken photos on the same day of all of the blood to post here. My friends and I will not go back there. read more

I thought I'd take the chance to do a walk in as my nails were due for a gel removal. Simple as that. 4 star for doing the request as asked. Clean interior 3 star for pushing to do more and minimal wait time. Staff chitchat and gossip behind your back. They should be more considerate when other customers are there trying to relax and enjoy their time getting pampered. read more

I have been debating on posting a review, because I selfishly want to keep this place to myself... but they definitely deserve it. I've been coming here for almost a year now, and I even drive from Aloha. To me this drive is worth it because the prices are so affordable. The services are great, the staff fun and personable, and they don't make you feel rushed or less important than others. Their friendliness is genuine too, unlike other places I've been to. They really do care about their clients and it shows through their hard work. The lady I see, Kay, works 7 days a week because she's the only one who does lashes, and have overheard her schedule around clients' busy lives by coming in early. That's above and beyond. I've already subtly revealed my secret, but in case you didn't catch it... they do lash extensions! I'm telling you, you cannot beat the prices. Anywhere else you will pay double or triple the price for lash extensions and I have always been happy with how they look. It's the one thing I do for myself that makes me feel good, pretty, and confident without makeup and I would not be able to afford it without this place. For that, I'm so grateful. Had an appointment at 5 for 2 people, I waited until 6:00until I began to get my nails done. My sister was taken back right at 5. My nails were finished 30 mins later...for full set fake nails. I then waited another 45 mins for my sister to finish. Only 2 of the ladies there knew how to do fake nails. My lady was so mean and so rude I felt as if I was being beaten. She made me bleed and when I asked about things she would go about it aggressively. The manager and all staff are very rude and extremely inexperienced. I bled numerous times. The nails lasted 3 days before they split. 1 until top coat came off of 5 fingers. These inexperienced people should Not be working as a professional, instead for friends and family. I regularly have my nails done (mani and/or pedi) at Crystal Nails (~1-2x/month). This is a great group of women who work very hard and care about the happiness and satisfaction of their customers. They care about the quality of their work and will spend the extra time to make sure your experience is excellent. As part of my job I wash my hands a lot... (I work in healthcare). The frequent washing causes irritation and premature chipping of polish (regardless of what type). Thankfully, these women found a solution to my problem... and I didn't even need to ask them to do it. They picked up on my issue early. They started applying a different base coat. Now I don't have the issue and my polish lasts for several weeks. They are very receptive to feedback and eager to improve. I appreciate that. You should come and get your nails done here. read more

The service I recieved here was better than most nail salons I've been to. The ladies, despite English being their second language, were courteous and welcoming. The establishment has nice decor and an open space. The massage/pedicure chairs have cushy pads on which to rest your feet and the whole place was really clean. I would absolutely recommend this business if you're in the area. PRO TIP: If you have your own pedi kit (nail file, callus remover, buffing block), bring them, otherwise it's an extra $2 to buy there. read more

This place hasn't been as good lately. Disappointed. And their service sucks. I used to see a sweet older lady here, but not anymore. No one looks happy. You shouldn't have "walk-ins welcome" if you have bored staff, 2 customers and 3 hours left of your normal business hours if you're turning people away. On to the next! read more

I've been coming regularly to Crystal Nails forever. They always do an awesome job on my pedicures. They have a bunch of new options for pedis at different price points ($30-40) including a hot stone option which I am definitely trying next time and a deluxe one with mud mask which is what I got this time. I rated Crystal Nails as a 3 because when I went there, the SHELLAC manicure didn't last a very long time, maybe a week before it started chipping. They didn't even go very close to the cuticle, making the grow out process of the nail look weird. They seemed rushed and a bit sloppy considering they got nail polish on my hand and didn't take it off before they cured it. Although, I would try it again because they could have been having a busy day. read more

Unbelievable, up charge for everything. Even powder with sparkle in it, $5 up charge but nobody said anything ahead of time. Every time I've been in its a different charge for fills. Won't be coming back anymore read more

I had a pedicure first to see how they did and they didn't do too bad. Just wasn't as good as I expected. I thought I would give them another chance so I got a manicure with dipping powder. The technician was so fast and not careful at all . She only used the rotary grinder for everything and no other tool. Cutting my cuticles and under my nails. It was aweful and painful. They have gotten sore and infected in just hours. So unhappy! read more

I go and get my nails done often. But since everything has mostly been closed I decided to try this place out by my house. I wish I DID NOT. It is way over priced. I got a deluxe gel pedi and mani. The massage was awful. The women was on her phone most of the time while doing my nails. They have already chipped. Only a couple days later. I know even if I go back and ask them do fix it they won't. Super cheap feeling place. I wanted white polish with some gold accent/stripes. The technician tried using orange on my nail and convincing me it was gold. I said NO. I paid a lot of money ($95 for both) not good work... at all. I wouldn't recommend anyone to go here. They do full sets of eyelash extensions for $60! I'm going on vacation & I didn't want to hassle putting fake eyelashes everyday of my trip, especially while camping.. i was skeptical at first because its so cheap and at a nail salon on 82nd lol... usually full sets of lashes cost anywhere from $125-$300.. BUT SHE DID AMAZING AND WAS SO QUICK! On an hour she was done. I was told an hour and 45 mins.. I gave 4 stars because I feel like there should be a head prop thing or a pillow while your laying down. I have back pain.. also they dont really give you any instructions on how to care for your lashes :/ i thought you're supposed to brush and stuff.. but i can buy that myself and watch a youtube video on how to care for them i guess.. And I opened my eye a little and the glue burned my eyeball but thats my fault when she specifically said not to open. Other than those tiny little things, for $60 its worth it. Before I start to say anything let me say this.. If you go on a weekend, your service will be rushed. If you can make it on a week day, I have had much better experiences on week days. The nice thing is they don't keep taking people once they have filled up but they will rush a service to get more people in. The last time I went was on a weekend and I was pretty disappointed. With that being said, I have gone a couple times during the week when it is slower and have had an awesome experience. read more

Looking for reasonably priced eyelash extensions? Go see Katie!! She does an amazing job! I couldn't be happier. $60 for a full set and $35 for fills! They look great and she's fast! I had been hoping elsewhere, spending $150 for a full set and $75 for fills. I was never really truly satisfied and it was taking upwards of 4 hours to get them done. You won't spend anymore than between 1 to 2 hours with Katie. She sweet and very professional. I receive compliment after compliment all day long. read more

I was pissed and I had too cool off so It wouldn't be full of emotion. -TLDR 2015-2020 Loved this place but starting 2020 till 2023 they were fucking up by eyebrows more then doing them good. I started getting by eyebrows down at hair centric in 2015, LOVED it and was getting my eyebrows waxed CONSISTENTLY (as soon as they were started growing) done from the end of 2015 to mid 2018 and then I would let them grow back before I would get them waxed again. The first time they FUCKED up my eyebrows was 2020 right before the covid lockdown. and ever since then till I stopped going (Augest 2023) they were fucking up my eyebrows or almost letting me walk out with mismatched eyebrows unless I said something even if it was pretty obvious (I know eyebrows aren't going to be twin sisters but they were barley distance cousins) Why did I keep going? 5 years of them doing a great job and knowing other places close by didn't do a good job. They would also do a good job every once in a while so I would HOLD onto that hope but the last time I went they FUCKED up by eyebrow SOOO BAD I had to sit in the car until I stopped crying so I could drive home where I then cried the rest of the day. Even if I would make an appointment they would wait till I was there to heat up the wax so I would have to wait either way. They tried cancelling my appointment 4 minutes after the start time when I walked in at the 5 minute mark (only once did I not show up to an appoinment b/c I though I booked it for a Friday when I actually booked it on a Thursday and I called them to apologize, so it wasn't because I would not show up to appointments)
