One of the worst pedicure experiences ever! I came here for a walk-in pedicure, they were quick to take me in. Tina was the nail tech who did my pedicure. I don't know if this is her style, but she was rude and rough with the tools/clippers and with her hands. It was painful when she cut my toenails. Then she asked me if I wanted her to use a new nail file on me, it would cost $3 extra. What was the other option, a used nail file or no filing? The parts that are usually pleasant and relaxing were all uncomfortable because Tina was unkind, seemed rushed, and was rough and heavy handed. She quickly polished my nails and did a terrible job. No cuticle clean up so she painted over dry cuticles. The salon itself is really dirty and the chair was grimy. I should have just walked out but I was just relieved to find a place with openings that was near home. Don't bother with this place! Plenty of shops nearby. read more

Not the friendliest of salons, they are efficient but be exact on what you want because everything has an upcharge 2 pedicures and a full set cost us $165 which is kinda pricey for the area. They strictly enforce the mask rule and they do not provide them so come prepared. I am a very laid back person but this was a horrible experience that left my fingers literally bleeding. I had an apointment for my friend and I for her birthday. They were very rude and rough with us. After we waited past our apointment time they told my friend to sit back down and wait her turn. When they finally sat me down I told the woman I didn't want powder I only wanted her to clip and color my natural nails. She cut my long natural nails all off so I told her to just put fake ones on I guess. She then took out powder and kept telling me she was confused when I tried to tell her I didn't want that. The worst part was she cut my fingers in several spots and when I told her it hurt and my fingers were bleeding she said "oh little pain little pain." And continued to sand my fingers until they bled more instead of stopping to get me a tissue or something. When I arrived I had very nice long natural nails and now I have these fake nails on with scabs all over my cuticles. I wish I had taken photos on the same day of all of the blood to post here. I still would give them 0 stars if I could I'm coming here again bc I'm absolutely baffled this place really won't let me talk to a manager or owner and I had to call again to try and get the rest of my refund for the lashes at least bc this is ridiculous these lashes have been nothing but painful to the point when I'm ripping out my natural lashes just to not be in so much pain. Even just pulling out one fan pulled out at least 3+ natural lashes and the lady named tin there keeps trying to say if you don't have the money for them don't get them when it's not even about having the money or wanting the money back bc I don't have it, it's bc these lashes are so painful and done incorrectly if they hadn't caused me pain I woulda never asked for a refund to begin with. These lady's here are very rude and unprofessional and get defensive anytime I mention licenses. I have been debating on posting a review, because I selfishly want to keep this place to myself... but they definitely deserve it. I've been coming here for almost a year now, and I even drive from Aloha. To me this drive is worth it because the prices are so affordable. The services are great, the staff fun and personable, and they don't make you feel rushed or less important than others. Their friendliness is genuine too, unlike other places I've been to. They really do care about their clients and it shows through their hard work. The lady I see, Kay, works 7 days a week because she's the only one who does lashes, and have overheard her schedule around clients' busy lives by coming in early. That's above and beyond. I've already subtly revealed my secret, but in case you didn't catch it... they do lash extensions! I'm telling you, you cannot beat the prices. Anywhere else you will pay double or triple the price for lash extensions and I have always been happy with how they look. It's the one thing I do for myself that makes me feel good, pretty, and confident without makeup and I would not be able to afford it without this place. For that, I'm so grateful. Had an appointment at 5 for 2 people, I waited until 6:00until I began to get my nails done. My sister was taken back right at 5. My nails were finished 30 mins later...for full set fake nails. I then waited another 45 mins for my sister to finish. Only 2 of the ladies there knew how to do fake nails. My lady was so mean and so rude I felt as if I was being beaten. She made me bleed and when I asked about things she would go about it aggressively. The manager and all staff are very rude and extremely inexperienced. I bled numerous times. The nails lasted 3 days before they split. 1 until top coat came off of 5 fingers. These inexperienced people should Not be working as a professional, instead for friends and family. I regularly have my nails done (mani and/or pedi) at Crystal Nails (~1-2x/month). This is a great group of women who work very hard and care about the happiness and satisfaction of their customers. They care about the quality of their work and will spend the extra time to make sure your experience is excellent. As part of my job I wash my hands a lot... (I work in healthcare). The frequent washing causes irritation and premature chipping of polish (regardless of what type). Thankfully, these women found a solution to my problem... and I didn't even need to ask them to do it. They picked up on my issue early. They started applying a different base coat. Now I don't have the issue and my polish lasts for several weeks. They are very receptive to feedback and eager to improve. I appreciate that. You should come and get your nails done here. read more

The service I recieved here was better than most nail salons I've been to. The ladies, despite English being their second language, were courteous and welcoming. The establishment has nice decor and an open space. The massage/pedicure chairs have cushy pads on which to rest your feet and the whole place was really clean. I would absolutely recommend this business if you're in the area. PRO TIP: If you have your own pedi kit (nail file, callus remover, buffing block), bring them, otherwise it's an extra $2 to buy there. read more

I rated Crystal Nails as a 3 because when I went there, the SHELLAC manicure didn't last a very long time, maybe a week before it started chipping. They didn't even go very close to the cuticle, making the grow out process of the nail look weird. The massage was awful. The women was on her phone most of the time while doing my nails. They have already chipped. Only a couple days later. I know even if I go back and ask them do fix it they won't. Super cheap feeling place. I wanted white polish with some gold accent/stripes. The technician tried using orange on my nail and convincing me it was gold. I said NO. I paid a lot of money ($95 for both) not good work... at all. I wouldn't recommend anyone to go here. Before I start to say anything let me say this.. If you go on a weekend, your service will be rushed. If you can make it on a week day, I have had much better experiences on week days. The nice thing is they don't keep taking people once they have filled up but they will rush a service to get more people in. The last time I went was on a weekend and I was pretty disappointed. I had been hoping elsewhere, spending $150 for a full set and $75 for fills. I was never really truly satisfied and it was taking upwards of 4 hours to get them done.
