Fried shrimp appetizer Salt and pepper shrimp

I don't want to give a bad review because the people seemed nice and they were working really hard and getting a lot of orders over the phone. The food didn't taste bad, I ate it. I'm just used to it being not so dry (the shrimp). I'm glad I tried this place but I'm not going to go out of my way to come back. There were a lot of choices on the menu and they have to be doing some items really well because as soon as they hung up, the phone would ring again almost instantly.

I was looking for a convenient Asian takeout place that offers delivery through Grubhub. I ordered pork and beef lo mein. Both lo mein's were great for my preferences. The meat was a perfect medium rare tender but it was cut VERY thin, smaller bites. I liked this because you get a bite of meat in every bite. Unfortunately, there was an underwhelming amount of vegetables in the lo meins I ordered. You can order extra veggies but it costs m Overall, every bite was delicious even with the lack of vegetables.

DO NOT EAT AT THIS RESTAURANT, EVER! I ordered 2 dinner combo's yesterday afternoon. I found a piece of metal in one of the dinners. Crystal Jade refuses to refund my order of $20.41, they wanted to know which dinner had the piece of metal. With the food being mixed up, I don't remember 100% which one had the metal in it. I asked them to replace both of the dinners, they refused. Only want to refund one of the meals. I am not going to touch either of the dinners, because I don't want to risk eating metal. Bottom line: Crystal Jade has lost me as a customer, and I'm still out 2 dinners. DO NOT EAT AT THIS RESTAURANT, EVER!

The duck has no flavor and it's very tough to chew. Food was overall too greasy, not very hot, was my first and last time eating there.

Walking inside the first thing I noticed was the lack of decor and warmth in this place. The pictures are hanging up spaced unevenly. The boards above the booths are not screwed into the wall. It honestly looks and feels tacky. There is a lack of decor and the lighting is too harsh. It feels like someone is moving out. Our server and the other employees, are the only reason I'm giving this place 2 stars. They were absolutely lovely and helped one another out. Our water glasses were filled multiple times and our server was very sweet. The food: we started with a beer and mojito. The beer was good. The Mojito was too strong and too sweet. It was really strange... Then we had the lobster bisque. It was very peppery and lacked flavor. There was only one piece of lobster and it had a strange after taste to it. The jerk chicken nachos were awesome is flavor but sooo greasy. See the pictures. I got the hot chicken and waffles. The texture of the chicken was great!! And the waffles were tasty! But these chicken tenders are very spicy and I could only get through half the meal. I would love if you could pick a non spicy version!! My boyfriend got a lobster roll and said it was good not great and the fries were pretty standard. We will not be back to this location. If you want to try this place, I would recommend the Bloomington location!

But honestly everything is tasty there. It's a suburb of the Twin Cities and so you know the people and staff are extremely friendly. Your water glass will never go empty nor will your cocktail glass. The restaurant has aviation decor which makes it fun and whimsical. I highly recommend if you're anywhere near this place to go try it it's very affordable, very good service, and like I said it's consistent and it's excellence and taste. Everyone were helpful and made this a great experience. And now, the food. They have a good salad choice as a starter. My husband had the Caesar Salad to start. He enjoyed it and it was a perfect size. I had the house salad. J had a conversation with the server about trying to order gluten free dishes. I was disappointed that my salad had toasted strips all over the top. In the description of the salad, they only mentioned the types of salad dressing. They never mentioned any type of wheat product here. The chicken on the spit was recommended. It was very tender and the dark meat was even juicy. My husband had the salmon which was prepared perfectly. We had a nice dinner and would definitely go back again.

Our server Dawson was very polite and attentive. The inside is very clean and has good vibes and decor. Order: combo 2 meat platter. Included LA kalbi, thin cut bulgogi and marinated pork. Both beef cuts were not the premier quality with a lot of chewy fatty pieces. Good marinate on the kalbi. The pork was the star of the platter. We chose the kimchi stew as the side dish. Great flavor and big chunks of pork that added great texture and taste. All the little side dishes were delicious. The highlights were the korean style potato salad, radish kimchi and marinated soy radishes. Yum. So delicious. All are refilled throughout the meal so enjoy as much as you want. The real hidden gem was the calamari stir fry. Great flavor, great textures. This is a must order. Overall: Is it LA or Chicago quality...no, but really good for Minnesota and very enjoyable. Soon dubu jjigae was tasty! It was more like chicken broth with a little spice (not overwhelming) really great intro into Korean stews for my unseasoned friends. For the grill, the beef bulgogi and chicken bulgogi were marinated well. The full plate felt plentiful - very big cuts. And she comes with allllll the fixings. I don't think we needed to ask our server for a thing. Bingsu was the perfect dessert. Refreshing, creamy, crunchy, chewy, and CUTE. Idk why we got the special bowl, presentation was out of this world. Everything was so fresh - lettuce, jalapeños, garlic, fruit, etc. And the table actually felt spacious with all this food?? SO easy to make and update reservations online. The staff was chill and so hard working.

However I felt that it was a little too greasy for me. Thank goodness that I asked for the hollandaise sauce on the side, otherwise with the grease, it would have been way too rich. Some parts of the beef were chewy and some gristle. One friend ordered the strawberry French toast and it was HUGE! They were generous with the whipped cream too. Another friend ordered the roasted vegetable omelette that came with a side of hash browns and toast. They enjoyed it but it was on the smaller size. We literally had zero wait in line, and the food was out to us in about 7 minutes. My only price complaint is for the fries. I understand its a huge upsell, and the appetizer platter of them is HUGE, but $10 for plain fries is a bit much. Mostly, because I couldn't see another way to order them. But they were scrumptious. That being said the food is pretty good. I wouldn't call it out of this world or amazing, but if you're a fan of seafood you won't be disappointed. If you're not up for the wait or not craving seafood you can grab a sandwich and a beer at the shop inside the main building.
