I came here last minute, thirty minutes before closing with a request for a custom bouquet for my boyfriend's grandma's 90th birthday and I thought they might've rejected me because it was so close to closing, but the florist happily made a beautiful bouquet with a lovely felt wrapper around the bouquet and a red ribbon. It was much more unique than bouquets bought from a grocery store. I really appreciated her efforts to meet my budget. I love the idea of the chair and table with note cards and fanciful pens to write a note for your bouquet. Great place! Thank you!! read more

I hired Crystal Florist to create three special centerpieces for my grandfather's 80th birthday party. After finding special book vases, I wasn't sure what would truly do them justice so I really appreciated the recommendations and collaborative approach to imagining the right look. While I knew based on our conversation that they'd turn out special, I was absolutely blown away by the end result. Crystal Florist has been in business for 28 years; and you probably don't know it is there. It is a cozy flower shop on El Camino in Mountain View, very close to Los Altos, in the same culdesac as Vive Sol restaurant. It is a hidden gem. I wanted flowers for my wife; something a bit more special than from a grocery store. There are a couple other florists that I normally go to, but it was late and they were closed. When I saw Crystal Florist on Yelp I was surprised. I had not been there before and assumed it must be new; which was completely wrong. It was a delight to meet Crystal. She was thoughtful and kind. Helping me choose flowers and then wrapping them beautifully. Best of all, the bouquet was a big hit with my wife. Thank you Crystal! I will be back next time I need flowers. Wanted to surprise my girlfriend a little early for Valentine's Day this year since I knew I wouldn't be able to buy flowers the day of (most florists aren't open on weekends and close by the time I get off work). I was looking up places nearby that would be open on a Sunday and came across Crystal's Florist. Noticed the signage on the door said to call before placing an order and explained to the owner (I'm assuming she owns the place) that I wanted to get a dozen today. She let me place an order and got the arrangement ready for me within about 10 minutes. She was incredibly sweet to me and very understanding, and I was really impressed with the arrangement. My first time in a long time having a Valentine and this place definitely saved the day! Even though it's a very small shop, they really go all out. Needed a bouquet of flowers in a pinch and the closest florist to me was Crystal Florist, a small little boutique shop located off of El Camino in Mountain View. At first, I thought the shop was closed as it was locked in the middle of the day when I came by. However, the shop owner was inside and came to the door to let me in. I was expecting there would be premade floral arrangements already made that I could just choose one and go but here, everything is made custom to order. The owner asked me questions as to what the occasion was for, what types of flowers I wanted, and also confirmed how much I wanted to spend. The quality of service at Crystal Florist is not consistent. My first purchase at Crystal Florist was a gift set of roses in December 2024 and the store manager, Odila, seemed to be helpful at the time. The gift of roses that I purchased were nice and I thought that the first experience at Crystal Florist was decent. However, my second experience was not good recently after trying to make another purchase to buy flowers at Crystal Florist for Valentine's Day in February 2025. The store manager, Odila, was impatient, rude, and was not helpful. I had a few questions about flowers options and pricing as a customer. Odila became quickly frustrated, rushed me to finish to my transaction, could not answer my basic questions about Crystal Florist's products, flowers, and pricing. Crystal Florist did not provide friendly service, was not re-assuring during the interaction, and was very unprofessional. The customer service, communication, and organization at Crystal Florist needs to be significantly improved. I recommend purchasing flowers from other florists who are considerate and patient with their customers and service. read more

The first time I visited Crystal Florist was back in 2014 and I've been coming here for all my flower/roses needs ever since! She handpicks the flowers and allows you to pick exactly how you want you set up to be. It is in a tucked out spot off el camino but you CANT miss it. I would recommend this spot to anyone who's looking for quality flowers! my girlfriend loved the flowers and I'll definitely be back! read more

Although the selection of flowers are rather limited, we were overall satisfied by the outcome of the bouquet. The owner was quick to respond to my request for two bouquets that fit my budget, but I wish I had been able to see a preview of the bouquets because they didn't turn out to be what I expected. I kept asking for an example of bouquets but the owner said no bc she will make it however it would fit my budget. I asked her again what normal budgets are like bc I have no idea. I asked her if $250 is okay and she said she will make it, but then I still had no idea what I was getting. I thought I should trust her bc of the reviews. The arrangement felt rushed and too spiky, and they are okay at best. The flowers aren't that fresh either and some of the flower petals are really dry. I wouldn't have paid the amount had I known what I was getting, but the owner is sweet yet I felt like I got an below average value. read more

I needed some flowers for my fiance's birthday. I found one on Yelp just a few miles away from work. When I arrived, the small parking lot was almost full, but I was able to get the last parking space. I told the lady my fiance's favorite flowers were tulips. She asked how much would I spend. So once I told her she had an idea of how to wrapped them into a bouquet. She had me sat down which would take only a few minutes. When it was done, she created a lovely bouquet of tulips. She added a card and gave me a few directions on taking care of them. I really admired the arrangements and the creativity. The lady was very nice and knowledgeable. He said he had great experience in the past and the owner was very nice. Steven was attentive and patient and listened to what I was trying to describe, which was not easy on the phone. I also asked him to make some suggestions. Even though he said he rarely works with lilies in his arrangement (because a lot of people are allergic to them), he was still willing to put together what I wanted for my daughter. After about half an hour on the phone with him, he seemed to know exactly what I wanted and what he was going to do. Pickup was on the day after, but the next day, I was a bit nervous and anxious about how everything turned out and thought if there is the slightest chance that it didn't come out right, I still had time to get something off the shelf even if it wasn't ideal. I reached out to Steven and he sent me a picture. The bouquet looked so elegant! I only asked him to make a slight change and he immediately accommodated.
