    Going.... Going....GONE. Excellent Super pie

We made this our place to go when in NJ! Rachel ROCKS!! She is sooo attentive and menu aware. We ordered the Guinness BBQ Cheesesteak and wings.. WOW.They were both ample and tender! The sauces with them are so flavorful. Fries and onion rings were excellent too! Fab venue to watch sports...watched the Olympics!

Friendly service. Food was good. Nothing special. Bar menu. Ordered sliders. They were pretty good. Burgers were hand made .Not a frozen patty. Place was packed. Good hangout place.

Conveniently located right off of Route 78. Don't be alarmed by the tiny parking lot in front. All of the parking is in the back and there is plenty of it. This place is always packed and always loud. Regardless of that, the service is always quick! They're known for their wings (and also their thin crust pizza which we did not have). I got half buffalo wings, half Jameson Irish Whisky wings. Both were excellent. They were huge, hot and extremely flavorful. My son got the steak and baked potato. It was cooked to order and the veggies that came with it were crisp and not mushy which is a pet peeve of mine. I'll definitely be back to try their thin crust pies.

Not the fanciest of bars but once inside, you just feel alive! HUGE bar, a couple of booths, a few high tops, but it's essentially a HUGE, VERY LOUD bar! Everything's all together. Service at the bar the quick. Service at the table was ok. The food was just ok. My beer battered onion rings were superb, the fried pickles not so much. Everyone raves about their wings but it was ok. Prices were sooooo reasonable so I was happy about that.

Food: I inhaled my Buffalo chicken wrap. I was delicious. Perfect harmony of flavors and texture in a little wrap. My fries were also done well. My family enjoyed their food too. Service: Our server was friendly, smiled a lot and welcoming. However, the overall speed was a tad slow. Value, it was about $25 per person. My wrap was only $11 which was pretty reasonable Value: I think for the value the food is pretty good. The ambiance is vibrant but can be a little noisy. Parking: there is parking in the back but it can be quite busy at times and you may struggle to find parking. I will definitely go back. I recommend this place

    Flaccid slice of pizza.

So disappointing. I was excited to try this place because it is close to our new house and there are many reviews and photos that led me to believe I would get a good bar pie here. Nope. It is bad. Just plain bad. Way underdone to the point of being flaccid (and that's never a good word). The crust looked like store brand frozen pizza. It was so bad we didn't even take home the leftover half. I can't tell you the last time I did that. The bar was jumping and maybe it is satisfactory for soaking up beer but I wouldn't go here for the pizza. This is the first 2 rating for pizza I have given out in a very long time. Very sad.

Stopped in for lunch today while fishing in the area. Place was pretty busy but we were able to be seated right away. The French Onion soup was phenomenal, we loved that it was extra cheesy. I got the Spicy Italian Pizza. It came out hot and fresh, no way it sat there waiting to be brought to the table. Pizza was delicious but pretty spicy; if you're not into spicy food don't get it, you're not gonna like it. Inside of the Tavern was cool, lots of Irish memorabilia all over. If we're ever back in the area we will definitely be going back.

I also happen to be here for my Birthday. Called ahead a few days in advance that I'd like to come celebrate with a large group. Probably 20 people or so. Understood the kitchen would be closed when I got there but was assured by the hostess the bar would be open and take care of us. Fast forward to the day. Even tried to call ahead to double check we were still on for the evening. No answer. Called several times. Went to voice mail. Showed up. Not only was the woman I spoke to not there (like she said she would be to accommodate the party) no one on staff knew we were coming. We were told would could have one of the circular tables by the bar for our group (that seats 4 people). When the server told us the bar was still open the bar tender said she would only serve us one round and had to close. Totally missed opportunity for the staff to make money. Also terrible service in regard to trying to foster a community where people a certain large theatrical establishment down the street are looking to come and unwind. Had a great time here the last time I was here but they failed miserably. Won't recommend this place to anyone in the community and will make sure future people who come to work in this town don't waste their time trying to go here. Went to Old Stone down the road. Nicer vibe. Staff treated us well and it's closer to the main part of town as well. If I could give zero stars I would.

First time I visited was for lunch. As soon as I saw the menu, I knew I needed to order the Wild Scotch Egg (difficult to find). I also had the half portion of Fish and Chips. The Wild Scotch Egg consisted of hard boiled egg and sausage, which was panko fried, sitting on Guinness fondue and crisp arugula, topped with Parmesan crisps. I really enjoyed this. The outer breading was light and satisfyingly crispy, while the egg and sausage interior was expertly cooked, tender and well seasoned. Cheesy fondue sauce was rich and creamy. Parmesan crisp was a nice, tasty touch. The beer battered Fish and Chips were also yummy. Fish was succulent, perfectly flaky and flavorful, while the Steak Fries were wonderfully crunchy, full of true potato taste. I knew I needed to return in order to try the Sticky Toffee Pudding, one of my all time favorite desserts. This was served warm, with Earl Grey tea date sponge cake, paired with sweet sticky toffee sauce and clotted cream. So deliciously mouthwatering and decadent! Service was good. For food, we started off with the margherita pizza to share. Then, I opted for the crispy, buttermilk chicken sandwich with malt vinegar, potato wedges/fries. It was very delicious. The sandwich was crispy and fresh and the bun looked like it was handcrafted. The malt fries were unique because they had a vinegar powder on them. I've never tasted malt vinegar before, and it was a unique texture. Our waitress was very friendly, but I wish she had been a bit more attentive.
