I'm so glad I finally made it to their new location in inner harbor. Since they closed their White Hall Mill location two years ago now I've been following pop ups and picking up orders. Let's be clear - inner harbor is a hard area to get to and it's in the upstairs of the somewhat derelict mall. But the storefront is huge and the pies are as delicious as I remember. I walked here and that's honestly the best way to come. I was shocked to find out they had heart crab pies left from their preorder and I ordered the sweet potato and PBJ Crustinis. The crab pie is one of the best things I've eaten - it's a little sweet and savory with lots of old bay. It's always so solid and a must if you're visiting or a long time resident of Baltimore. I'd not tried the cute Crustini before. The sweet potato one was so good - the sweet potato is in jelly liquid from and the frosting on the pie is chefs kiss. Crust by Mack is one of the most special bakeries out there. I will be back to get their epic biscuit sandwiches and crab pies.

Run to this Black-owned spot! It is located at the inner harbor area of Baltimore. The website has all of the sweet and savory food options listed so feel free to browse through before you stop by because there are so many good options! They offer dine in and delivery options, we stopped by with a couple of friends. It is also family friendly so feel free to bring the kids. There is lots of seating space. We ordered the shrimp crust, cheddar grits and salmon, and blackberry wings -I listed them in the order of my favorite. The shrimp crust was excellent! Amazing soft texture inside while maintaining the integrity of the crust outside, and so tasty. The grits and salmon were delicious and filling. And the blackberry pie was a welcomed twist, I enjoyed it. We also tried their chocolate chip cookie and I loved it! Definitely stop by if you're in the area.

Crust by Mack stole my foodie heart! When I say made with love , you can taste it . They are known for their bmore crab pie . It was so warm , tasty, buttery, flaky, and stuffed with crab! lol, idk what else to say besides it was so so so good. Every bite! They also offer plenty of other items, sweets, sandwiches, grit dishes, a good variety of items to choose from. You can order to dine in or take out. Nice and spacious in there. A good view of the harbor. Service was very pleasant and welcoming . Bernard was so good to us! Thank you for a great experience, must return to try more items.

Place was great! I have seen this place featured on TV and decided to give it a try on a recent trip. It did not disappoint. I got a breakfast biscuit sandwich, which was amazing!!! We also had cookies and something else that's pictured (which don't remember what is called) which was also outstanding. Cookies were great too. The location is a little tricky, you got to walk to the 2nd floor of a shopping plaza across the water, but it was worth it. Can wait to visit the city and to stop here again.

I first heard of this place through facebook. A friend shared a food blogger's photo of the crab pie, and I knew I HAD to try it. My expectations were VERY high, and unfortunately, I was a bit let down. I happened to be in Baltimore already, so I figured it would be a good time to try it out. It's on the top floor of a mall(?), and parking is a bit weird. They tell you to park in a loading zone, turn your hazards on, then go upstairs to get your food. I ordered online, but from what I understand, it's supposed to be prepared when you get there, so expect to wait a few minutes. It's a super cute shop and has a great view of the harbor. Everyone that I encountered while there was very nice and welcoming. I told the young lady at the register that I was here to pick up an online order. She popped her head in the back and told the chef. I sat down to wait, and 10 minutes had gone by. People that came in after me were getting their food before me. I continued to wait. Another lady (maybe the owner/manager?) asked me if I was waiting on something. I told her that I've been waiting on an online order, and I checked in about 10 minutes ago. She went to the back to see what was up. Apparently the chef never heard the young lady tell him that I was there. Maybe they should have some type of confirmation between FOH and BOH. I ordered the crab pie and the pumpkin snickerdoodle cookies. The website has a picture of two pies, but the description says "pie," as in singular. I called to confirm. You get one pie. When I got to my car, I decided to dig in. Now the crab pie is $16. A little pricey, but the claim of it being "stuffed with blue lump, jumbo, and colossal crab," I could see past the price. Either they were having an off day, or their claims aren't true. The pie was a bit on the smaller side, and it was lukewarm. The crust was good, and the filling was disappointing. Overall, it was just okay. The filling was minimal, and I didn't see/taste lump crab meat. I tried the cookies next. They weren't wrapped up very well. There was a bit of parchment paper, but they sort of just jumbled around in the bottom of the bag. When I think of snickerdoodle, I think of a soft, chewy cookie. These weren't that. BUT the flavor was absolutely delicious. I didn't taste pumpkin at all, but the snickerdoodle taste was very good. I'd definitely get them again. I'm kind of on the fence about whether I'd return. Like I wouldn't go out of my way to make it there, but if I'm in the area, I'd try different cookies and maybe a biscuit. Those did look good.

A good experience here on a Sunday during my visit to Baltimore. This restaurant serves both sweet and savory baked goods and breakfast sandwiches. Their baked goods are novelty and perhaps unlike any you will see around town and certainly in the area. I arrived shortly after opening, so the restaurant was virtually empty. I was a bit surprised to see how massive the space is they occupy inside of Harbor Place. I ordered a crab pie, buttermilk biscuit, pumpkin spice snickerdoodle cookie, and rainbow chip cookie. All of which were delicious, however I do wish all four were slightly bigger; especially the crab pie. In comparison the crab pie I received was virtually the size of half of a dollar bill without extending beyond the edges. In my photos you can see the size of the crab pie in comparison to the little cup of butter sauce. And while I did taste the essence of crab I was expecting more of the lump experience advertised on the menu. A delicious savory pie however if today was an inconsistent day at this shop I can't say for sure I'd be interested in taking another gamble on a $16 hand pie. Otherwise a good experience and you should give them a try.

It's within the Johns Hopkins college campus & a neighborhood, so parking is really horrible. I ended up parking in a non spot and putting my hazards on. It's a cute little, but spacious place located next to an airport building. It's on the corner and has a nice little outside seating area with about 5 tables. Inside is bigger than it looks and has a nice amount of seating as well. Since my time was limited, I didn't really get to explore the menu like I wanted, so I ordered a hazelnut latte and a ham & cheese croissant. Their croissants looked so good, I wanted one of each. They also had several toasts on their menu. I'll have to go back for sure! Th service was regular, you order, they tell you how much you owe and you pay. I got in my car and couldn't wait. My first bite was like a bite into heaven. Every bite was the same way, so delicious & delicate. I wish I had two. The latte was perfect, just the right amount of hazelnut. Kanom Cafe is a must try!

Arrived in the afternoon during a busy weekend and decided to take out for desserts. My first visit and was underwhelmed by the service received. Rushed and transactional. Packaging was very sloppy and my napoleons were shoved to the side, making the clear clamshells very messy when I arrived home. If only the desserts were saving grace, but was left disappointed as well. As others have mentioned, the pastries do not taste fresh. The ricotta cream in the original cannoli tasted warm and gritty, the shell was stale. I noticed these were sitting out. The puff pastry in the Napoleons were soggy. The cream puffs shell was stale and chocolate topping was super sweet, unfortunately these were far from heavenly. Maybe another day, Vaccaro.

The vibe inside was relaxing. We were here for a few hours enjoying our coffee, tea and desserts and it was a nice place to pass the time on a cold, freezing day. The thing that dropped the review was basically the coffee and desserts. The coffee was fine, but just your standard coffee that you'd find at any gas station. The cannoli was overly sweet and the cookies we ordered felt stale. Interestingly, they charge more for sit down desserts vs. takeout. The servers were very sweet to share that we could order takeout and not have to pay the extra fee. Finally, not sure why, but there was not a lot of heating inside the restaurant. We ate with our jackets on, which was fine. But found that to be a little odd. Nobody seemed to know why they couldn't get the heat on. When it's below freezing, it would be nice to escape the chill. Overall, it was a nice stop. My kids loved it. But it was not without some quirks.

I realized that their online ordering was actually quite easy and their pick up hours were a bit more accessible than I remember them being. I ordered my sourdough loaf online a few days in advance for a Thursday pick up. I stopped in around 3pm and the loaf was quickly wrapped up for me. I asked if it could be sliced like the white bread loaf can but I was informed that the classic sourdough loaf is too large to fit in the slicer. I also love the fact that they offer a pay what you can program and a pay it forward option. And judging by their fundraising for important causes, this is a business I will continue to support. For $7, I thought it was a great deal for such a large and beautiful loaf. It froze and reheated very well too so none of it went bad. I wish I could try more of the menu but I should probably play it safe. If you're gluten intolerant and tend to be able to tolerate sourdough, I definitely recommend giving their classic loaf a try.
