We came here for drinks and a light dinner. The place was busy but not overly so. We were seated right away. The space is open with tables nicely spaced, and wide aisles. We were served right away. Our server was attentive throughout our time there. He was spot on in his recommendation of the banana old fashioned, so yum! My friend said the steak tacos were delicious and his salad also looked good. On a Wednesday night, the kitchen closed at 9:00 (except for pizza). Last call for the bar was at 9:30. The place was empty by shortly after 10:00. They didn't hesitate to hurry us out by clearing our table, wiping it as we sat there, and setting it for the next day.

When in Chicago, even suburban Chicago, you think pizza. Right? More specifically Chicago style deep dish pizza. Well, if you want that style, Crust Brewing doesn't make it, but they do make an incredibly amazing Neapolitan-inspired, wood-fired pizza! Yeah, I was disappointed when they didn't have deep dish, but not for long. I had the Hogs & Kisses. It has pineapple and pancetta. I wasn't familiar with the style of pizza. Lots of the cheese is not melted, still, I would have to say it was one of the best pizzas I've ever had in my life. Matter of fact, I think it was the best!! Nothing like it anywhere I've been. Yes, it's even better that Chicago deep-dish IMHO. The vibe is great. Shoutout to the server, Leticia. She was fantastic and made my dining experience exceptional. If you're staying near O'Hare, do yourself a favor and get over here and treat yourself to some great pizza! Oh yeah, it's a brewery, so there's that part, too!

Was in area for concert series, so eating dinner with friends. Ordered appetizers, drinks, and pizzas. Appetizer (cheese curds) was good, would try something else next time. Pizza was good, but crust was like rock. Service was ok. Ambiance was brewery/bar. I am not a beer drinker so I am more a tag along. I would go back if I was in the area for something else.

Crust Brewing is a solid brewpub find! The open, airy seating made for a relaxed vibe with plenty of room to spread out. Portions are generously large and the food arrives piping hot. The buffalo macaroni pasta was a standout--creamy, spicy, and loaded with flavor. We also enjoyed the solid beer selection with an 8-beer flight that offered great variety and was absolutely worth the money. Everything felt fresh and satisfying. Friendly service and a casual atmosphere make it perfect for a laid-back meal with craft beer. The location is right out the airport so id highly recommend stopping by before or after a flight!

I dined at Crust March '25. I took a look at the menu thinking it was just pizza, however I was mistaken. Service was good and attentive. Atmosphere was comfortable. Now let's talk about the food.. I opted to step out of my comfort zone and try the short ribs with broccolini and mashed potatoes. Wow!!!! This was a hefty and delicious portion! The lemon accompaniment to the broccolini fit perfectly and really made the dish stand out. For the price, you cannot beat a meal like this. I shall definitely return and try other dishes next time I am in the area.

Been here a few times now, most recently for their happy hour. It wasn't too busy and our waitress was great. Can't beat $5 beers and $10 pizza!

First of all the food is made fresh order. It is amazing! The beer is great as well and the staff are super friendly. We went during a not very busy time so we didn't have to wait at all, and we sat at the bar. We are not from the area, but we will definitely come back to this restaurant when we venture out this way again. I absolutely loved the atmosphere. It was very classy, but laid-back as well and extremely clean.

Portions are large. Onion rings are fine. The traditional wings are better than average - it was juicy. The sweet soy was good and the buffalo was not over powering. Pass on the mussels. The poke taco though deserves special mention.

Too expensive for mediocre taste. I'm sure it's because of location. The area is very nice and prices are possibly due to location.

Ask the Community - Crust Brewing

Is there a happy hour from 4-6 still?

Do they only sell their beer or do they also sell (miller, bud)?

They sell other beer also. Plus they have a full bar. 😊

    Is there outdoor seating?

    Yes.

A short fuse and a close call…read more After Emily and I checked in to our hotel room, we wanted to stretch our legs and see if there was anything nearby for some beer and some food. Turns out, Short Fuse was right up the road and a 5 minute walk got us there. For a Sunday, it wasn't too busy but not dead, so we got seated right away. We ordered some beer and took a look at the menu. While nothing really struck our fancy, our waitress made a comment that if we did want any food, it might be slim pickings as they were running out of stuff. Turns out, this day was the last day they were open. Talk about timing! After she mentioned that, I started to notice that people were buying bar signs and various other things. Emily started off with a Guava Gose and I grabbed a Krankshaft kolsch. We sampled each other beers and we both really liked what the other ordered. I don't really know what a gose is but, damn, was that good! I've had Krankshaft before so I knew what I was getting myself in to. We ended up ordering a second round of the same beers and let each other sample the other's beer a little more liberally this time. While we were kind of hungry, nothing on the menu really struck our fancy, especially considering they might've been out of it. Room service took care of those hunger pangs later after a few more beers in the hotel bar. Online reviews for this place seemed hit and miss but I really enjoyed my time there and really enjoyed the artwork on the walls and the vibe of the place. We did contemplate buying some bar signs on our way out but declined as we don't know what we would exactly do with them. It sucks to see a small business close but they did say they may try to open up a new place in a new location in the future.
