First time ever to Crumbl Cookie. I heard lots of great things about it. But I know it's also expensive. Walking into the bright store, there were self order kiosk screens to pay via credit card or up front cash/credit. But the thing that hit me in the face was the overwhelming scent of baked sugary sweet vanilla. It bashed me in the face. I had a headache after being in there for a minute. I had my son order a 3 mini cookie sampler for $9.99!!! OUCH! Pineapple whip, chocolate salted toffee and milk chocolate chip. The quality and taste is really good. But $3.33 per mini cookie is absurd. Good experience tho. Maybe once a quarter treat. Maybe a semi-annual thing. Won't buy the larger cookie tho. Way too much! read more

Sorry, I'm not a fan of Crumbl. Yesterday, we picked up a couple Chocolate Chip Pecan cookies. Probably one of the poorest chocolate chip cookies I've ever had. They were truly awful. It's Baking 100 to know that you do not dump cinnamon into chocolate chip cookies. But they sure did at Crumbl. Not sure the cookies actually had pecans either. All I could taste was lots and lots of cinnamon. Epic fail! At the least, Crumbl could have warned that these were actually cinnamon cookies. I wasn't fond of how to order cookies here either. They have electronic kiosks where you can order. But I was befuddled because the kiosks opening screen just shows the different packs you can purchase, not what kind of cookies they have available. I asked a girl working there what cookies they had, and she punched one of the packs on the screen and then a doing a couple more taps inside the pack , she revealed the cookies. But I was at a loss how to buy an individual cookie on their kiosk so I had to get assistance on that. read more

It's a small yet cute shop to go for oversized cookies! A bit pricey for a cookie, but more than enough to share! We got a 4 pack box for a work event. I tried the Milk Chocolate Chip, Snickerdoodle Cupcake and Classic Pink Sugar. The milk chocolate chip was the best out of all of them. The others had too much icing and tasted too sweet for me. The interior looks modern and clean with some outdoor seating. There are limited parking spaces in front of the store, but there are plenty nearby. The service was good and the staff were friendly. I admittedly have a sweet tooth but my teeth were positively in pain after a bite of the chocolate Oreo cookie; as good as it was, it was sugar-overload. I also had a raspberry cookie (reminded me of a Linser tart), which I liked much better. I do like that these cookies are served warm; this place reminds me more of a donut or cupcake shop rather than a 'cookie' store. In fact, these cookies are so big they are practically cupcakes (sometimes with nearly as much toppings). If you think this is a good thing, then Crumbl is for you. My husband with Parkinsons loves Crumbl. So I drive over to Vienna and get him his fix. Sadly, although it's closest to us, I finally find I cannot go to the Vienna location any more, since the parking is almost nonexistent. Like, 30 spaces for ten businesses? There is plenty of parking next door, acres of empty spaces, but you can't park there because you will be towed. It is an awful situation, and finally, I refuse to support this location because I get anxiety just thinking about it. Even though it's much further away, I will go to Fair Lakes because there is available parking. I live in the suburbs because I want to be able to drive to places and park there. Lots of Vienna and all of Falls Church is now like New York City. If I wanted to live there, I would, but I choose not to. So I plan to avoid the Crumbl Vienna location, and my blood pressure will go down. Sad. read more

The Vienna location does a terrible job with the cookies. I've gotten the wrong cookies, cookies missing frosting, or cookies with a drop of caramel when the whole cookie is supposed to be covered. Crumbl Cookies showcases aesthetic cookie selections in the Vienna area. However, I found the cookies to be way too sweet and had way too much icing on them. I ordered the blueberry cheesecake and the Galaxy Brownie and found the latter to be disappointing. It didn't taste much of a brownie nor a cookie. It was too sweet and also lacked a lot of flavor. As for the blueberry cheesecake I found it to be the best out of the two. The gram cracker base was pretty tasty and the cream cheese frosting emulated the cheesecake part quite well. However, again, the dessert was way too sweet for my liking. Parking-wise, there's only a few spots to park outside the establishment, as they share a small lot with neighboring vendors. I managed to park in front of Walgreens and just walked over from there. Overall, if you're looking to find something light and sweet, I would look elsewhere, but if you have a big sweet tooth or are just really craving a cookie, this spot's for you. read more

My 14-year old son wanted to try this place in Vienna (near the intersection of Park St. and Maple Ave.) after hearing about it from friends. I had mixed feelings about visiting here. On the plus side, the interior is chic and modern with 2 kiosks for placing an order. There is some outdoor seating, but only a single bench inside. Also, the pink boxes are cute and distinctive. The cookies are huge - and are like cupcakes. I'd give them 4 stars for the slick appearance of the store. On the minus side, the cookies had way too much sugar and were cloying. Maybe a 4-year old would like the excessive amount of sugar (i.e., a diabetic's dream), but I think Crumbl Cookies should aim for a more sophisticated palate, especially for $4 per cookie and $16 for a box of 4 cookies. For the taste of the cookies (and value for the price), I would give them 2 stars. Unfortunately, I don't think Crumbl Cookies will be operating 5 years from now (in 2027) unless they significantly improve their product. The slick boxes and large size of cookies were novel enough to convince VC investors, but I don't think the taste meets expectations (IMO). I had been wanting to try Crumbl for quite a while and ironically I was driving in NoVa when I came across this one along the way. The signage is very conspicuous from the street side hence the reason I was able to recognize it while driving. An overall OK experience however I was expecting a bit more in the flavor department. I just didn't get the bakery-flavor vibes I was expecting. I was anticipating a bit more from what is a dedicated cookie shop. I got frozen cookie dough vibes on this occasion. Not knocking frozen cookie dough, but if you've had enough of them you certainly can distinguish it from fresh cookie dough. Again, not a bad experience however I was expecting a more unique experience and one in which they distinguished themselves from other novelty cookie shops considering the hype and advertising. They seem to have a rotation for their cookies on a weekly basis and of course they offer seasonal flavors. I'll give them another shot if I'm in the area again. Give them a try. read more

I really wanted to like this place but It's not that good. Let's start with the good. The place is clean and nicely lit. The staff is nice and friendly. My order was served very fast. Now let's talk about the cookies. What makes them unique is that they are huge. They look great but don't really taste that good. The sugar cookie just crumbled when I tried to pick it. The taste was not that good. The chocolate chip cookie doesn't taste like chocolate. It tastes like butter and sugar. I would rather buy the premade cookie dough from the supermarket. The ice cream was good. In the end taste is a matter of opinion. You should try them for yourself. A lot of people like them. My daughter likes it. First off, I think this place does a great job at making cookies. I thought about giving a 4 star, but I'm rating strictly on the taste of the coookies. For me I give a 3. The chocolate cookie is very good, as well as the snicker doodle and oatmeal with icing. For me, a majority of the cookies have too much icing on them. These cookies are certainly cute, but I really fail to see what the hype is all about. I had a sugar cookie and a Twix cookie. You order at the kiosk and wait for an employee to bring you your order. Upon receiving my cookies, they were ice cold. I thought that was quite odd for a bakery to sell cold cookies. I took the cookies home and my daughter and I sampled them the next day. That sugar cookie is wayyyyy too sweet, it made me nauseous. It was crumbling, im not sure if that is intentional, but ugh! No ma'am. The Twix cookie was just ok, I would not return, but I wanted to sample them since I saw people eating them on TikTok. There's seating right outside the the store, but none inside. Considering how busy the store is, they generally are pretty quick at fulfilling their cookie orders. When they're super busy, make sure to place your order on the screens to the right, instead of at the cash register. When they're slammed, there may not be someone working at the register and might not take your order and just leave you hanging... learned that one the hard way. But four out of five stars. This place is dangerous. It smells so good in here. There are 4 different specialty flavors that change each week, but 2 flavors (milk chocolate chip and chilled sugar cookie) are always available. The bakery is clean, neat, and organized. You may place your order with a cashier or use their touch screen ordering system (there is hand sanitizer available). Employees are friendly and wrapped up our goodies neatly. We tried the Party Box and boy was it a party in a box. Each cookie looked absolutely delicious and tasted even better. I am a true crumbl fanatic! I love trying the new flavors each week, and last week's flavors did not disappoint! I tried the Kentucky Butter Cake, Milk Chocolate Chip, and the Chocolate Cake Batter! The Kentucky Butter Cake was so yummy (coming from someone who prefers cake over icing). Overall these flavors were very good! July 2021 - COVID Review: I'm so glad I finally got a chance to understand the hype! I was in the area and they just so happened to have an amazing flavor line-up that same week! The cookies looked even bigger in person. The staff were also so nice and accommodating when I said I was gonna share the box with my husband that has nut allergies. They made sure to clean the surfaces and serving utensils as they packed up my cookies for me. Some flavors may be a bit on the sweeter side for some people's tastebuds. I've visited this spot a couple of times. I started by going random weeks and trying all of the cookies on their menu for the week. The cookies are large so they do last a while. My latest approach has been to just look on instagram or Facebook before to check the flavors of the week and commit to only 1 cookie so I didn't have cookies for an entire week. Overall, their cookies are tasty but they're definitely different than other cookie chains like insomnia cookies/etc. They are pretty thick and don't usually come across super gooey. They're tasty but I do recommend checking out flavors in advance so you're not stuck with cookies you don't like. They do sell a special cookie cutter to help you cut them into 4. This was a nice buy and I like splitting my cookies this way. This location does get really busy, even with placing my order in advance, I've gotten there multiple times and it hasn't been ready. The parking lot also isn't the best, I'd recommend parking near Walgreens to make it easier. read more

They have made ordering cookies easier than ever with the multiple ways you can order. With the Crumbl app, you can place an order for pickup and set a time when you're ready to pick them up, and just park in the designated curbside parking space, and they will bring your cookies out to you. Warning: The parking here is a bit hectic, so I would pick a reasonable time to go (not rush hour), or you'll be stuck waiting for drivers to come in and out. You can also order for delivery, however, you have to be within range for them to deliver, which kinda sucks if you live more than 15 mins out the way. Finally, you also have the option of showing up to the store and placing your order via the iPad or to the cashier in front. Either way, you get to pick out of the same selection of cookies, and you can wait outside until they're ready and they'll bring them out to you. What I LOVE about Crumbl is their simplistic design and their business model that makes everything super efficient to order cookies. Some things to note about Crumbl: their cookie flavors change weekly, but they will most likely always have the chocolate chip flavor. I have tried some pretty unique flavors like the Pumpkin Chocolate Chip, and the Frosted Poptart with a strawberry filling. They have only three options for sizing when you want to get more than one: either 4 cookies in a box for ~$14, or the party box, which comes with 12 for ~$34. While the cookies can be pricey, they are HUGE cookies that are well made and taste amazing when they're fresh and warm! There's nothing better than a warm goey cookie with a crispy shell baked to perfection - Crumbl missed the mark. The new rotating flavors piqued my interest and tried the Salted Caramel Cheesecake and Salted Nutella cookie. While the ginormous cookies look promising in adorable pink carryout boxes, they are underbaked sugary butter balls with flavors not quite balanced. The Salted Caramel Cheesecake cookie had a mound of thick pasty frosting with a heavy dose of salt. The 1st bite was interesting, but something was missing that I couldn't place my finger on and got a sugar high just after a few bites. The Salted Nutella cookie was like a salty chocolate chip cookie and preferred the Salted Caramel Cheesecake cookie. After several attempts of searching for the perfect bite, I threw in the towel 1/2 way through both cookies. Rather than being topped with a heavy dose of salt, the cookies would taste better salt was added to the batter. The cookies lack the crispy outer shell that makes a cookie so desirable and underbaked. Crumbl doesn't measure up to the hefty $4 price tag. Seeing the mini cookies on the counter was confusing, why are they placed there if they aren't offered on the regular menu (only for catering)? Quite disappointing, the mini cookie is a great way to try a variety of flavors without having to commit to a giant cookie. Crumbl was fun to try, but didn't hit the sweet spot. We went with snickerdoodle , funfetti, honey graham cracker and chilled sugar. They are BIG cookies!!! I've only tried one of the flavors so far....snickerdoodle and it was so delicious. I realize I'm totally late to the game as I had never heard of Crumbl cookies until I kept seeing them on tiktok and I googled where the nearest location is so I could get my hands on some of these amazing desserts. Being the self-proclaimed "not a dessert person" that I claim to be, I will get 4 servings out of one cookie. This is not a flex lol but they are just enormous so I will cut them into fours. (Plus I also discovered a single cookie is like ballpark 600 calories) But in all honesty, these cookies are pretty amazing. I look forward to Sunday nights when I can find out what the upcoming week's cookies will be. I stopped by crumble recently to pick up some of their new flavors. This is becoming a weekly habit. If you don't know they come out with new flavors of the week on Monday to Saturday which makes it pretty cool because you get to try different flavors on a weekly basis. I remember the first one I had and the cookie itself was amazing but there's always a feeling that I will come back another week but it's been about three months now. I'm not mad but I'm hopeful.
