Pretty typical Crumbl location: it's a simple space. Get in, get your cookies, get out. After ordering on their kiosks, the cookies are assembled quickly and delivered with a smile. Crumbl has rotating weekly flavors, with some repeating staples. For the time we went, favorites of the week were the double chocolate and the blueberry pancake cookies. The milk chocolate chip was a bit too much on the sweeter side. We got an assortment of 12 minis (pictured) to share with a group, so there was something to try for everyone. Rawr. I dislike having to write a less than great review for a business. But I must be honest, this visit was a little upsetting. I ordered on the app to come pick up. Ordering on the app was very simple and quick. When I arrived I hit 'I'm here'. I was literally the only person in the store. Took about 2-3 minutes for someone to come out. When the lady, who seemed to be the only one working', came to the counter she didn't even look at me yet alone say hello. Cool. Ok, I thought for sure she would at least say goodbye or here ya go or thanks for coming. Nope. I got 'Amanda?' In which I said yes. She gave me the box turned and left. So customer service for this visit 0 stars. 3 stars for the cookies. All were amazing, the only small issue what the strawberry cake being stale. Other than that, had she been friendly in the least bit I would have given an extra star. I will go to another location next time. This does not stop me from enjoying the cookies themselves. Hope this provides feedback to the owner that customer service really does matter. Especially when I'm paying $27 for 6 cookies. read more

I've only been here twice and I definitely need to plan for future visits. This is such a quaint little spot. Very Organized and very clean. You walk in and if there's no line you walk right up to the counter where you can self-order from the screen and even pay. I'm relatively technologically savvy but I did unfortunately stumble when attempting to order because I was ordering only one cookie and I wasn't sure how to redeem my reward. Thankfully a staff member will come over to assist if needed. My experiences were good. The snicker doodle cookie is delicious. Also there's a yummy cookie with toffee. I love the variety of flavors and toppings they have at Crumbl cookies and I was super excited when one moved in close to me! We frequent this location and it's pretty convenient if you go late in the evening like we do when the shopping center it's located in isn't a mad house. The cookies are super pricey, but they usually are very very good. I will say they can be hit or miss and I recommend looking at the example cookies on the front counter before placing your order as it will give you an idea of what you're getting. This was my first visit to Crumbl. My husband took me on a rainy night after dinner. Cute little location in the Hilltop area. Simple and clean line esthetics. Easy-to-use touch pad to place your order. You can take a closer look by going up to the counter to see how big the regular cookies are or se the mini versions. I chose the hot chocolate cookie. The icing is chilled hot chocolate with mini marshmallows. You could really taste the chocolate topping is reminiscent of Swiss Miss cocoa. The mini marshmallows balance out the double chocolate. My husband chose red velvet. The cookies are pretty solid, but soft. We'll have to come back and maybe get a 4-pack so we can try a variety of other flavors. read more

My daughter and I stopped here for a quick sweet treat after dinner. It was a Wednesday evening around 8:30. Of course we Yelped this business to make sure they were open and were pleasantly surprised to find out they are open until 10:00pm. The place was brightly lit. They had two ordering kiosks immediately to your right. I was surprised at how little of a selection they have. I was also a bit taken back by their prices. Also, we ordered a total of 4 cookies (totaling about $19). We were each taking home 2 so we asked to have an extra box. We had to purchase another box. I'm absolutely not complaining about that, I get having to pay for the box, however, I feel it is inefficient to not have a box for 2. They only had a single box or a box for 4. Anyway, no worries. If I'm in the area, I'm not opposed to trying them again. read more

My daughter is addicted to Crumbi, so I take her over to Hiltop once in a while to grab a box. The order ahead curbside has worked great! I have also walked in and it's slick and span clean. Service is friendly and the cookies scrumptious. Price point is higher than it should be, but they are quality. Not sure if it's a fad or Crumbl is here to stay. I've wanted to come here since the last time we were in town. Finally made it out this morning. They are very loud with welcoming you in, feels like I went to Moes, though I feel that's where the conversation ends. Touch screens are how you order, but everything is very simple and straightforward. If you can ask an employee, hopefully you can get one to look at you or come close, they can help you apply a military discount. The actual cookies are huge, and incredibly sweet. I got 6 and my kiddos only took a nibble out of their cookies. I did take bites out of theirs just to try them. The snickerdoodle cupcake, galaxy brownie, Twix and pineapple whip were what we had. Galaxy Brownie was my personal choice and I barely ate 1/4 of it. Really glad we're visiting family so they could also make a dent in our box of cookies. First of all let me say I LOVE sweets. I have the biggest sweet tooth ever... with that being said even these were too much. So rich, so decadent, almost impossible to even eat 1. The best one was the chocolate chip, mainly because it was cooked nicely. All the other flavors (we got a variety pack) were so heavy and like the other reviews say, almost not cooked enough? So glad to have finally made it! Customer service and cleanliness of the store are definitely 5 star. The employee was super sweet explaining the process and options since it was my first time. I even asked about the base of a cookie and multiple employees were able to easily answer. Personally, they were good cookies but just not my favorite cookies ever. Well, it happened. I have been waiting for close to a year for Crumbl Cookies to come further towards me. The closest for a while was DC. Not any more folks, we now have VA Beach and soon to follow will be one in Hampton and another in Newport News! This location just opened a few weeks ago. So of course they are learning to work like a well oiled machine. Patience is a must while they transition into talkative, plus this is all happening during COVID times. When we arrived this afternoon they were doing very well. Staff was polite, working hard and helpful. We place our order on what appeared to be iPads. I enjoyed that. Less talking, order was in my hands for the most part then. We waited for the order. Our order was up pretty quick. We took our order outside to the Panera across the parking lot, outside seating since there was no seating at a Crumbl. It's pretty much pick up and go. The cookies were extremely delicious. My favorite out of the flavors for the week was the birthday confetti. My least favorite is the chilled sugar. My family and I usually cut the cookies into 4 pieces and share so we can taste each flavor. I think the pricing is fair. If you see how much effort goes into making these cookies. For the insatiable sweet tooth (such as your truly), there's no better place for milk and cookies other than Crumbl Cookies. Unfortunately, we were a little bit disappointed this time. The selection is always great. I love that they after different flavors of the week in addition to their more basic cookies. The pumpkin pie roll, because who doesn't love everything pumpkin spice in fall, is absolutely to die for. The cookies were warm, soft and sweet. I love that they sell milk, even if I am lactose intolerant, haha You can also never go wrong with the chocolate chip or sugar cookies. The thing I laugh about most when I read some of these reviews is that the cookies are huge. Like the size of a dinner plate huge. My one pet peeve from this last visit is that they got our order wrong. And instead of just giving us the right cookie, the cashier reaches into our box and takes out the wrong cookie. With the hype!!!! I didn't even know this had already opened and I found out during dinner with friends. We looked on the website and saw they are open till 10pm. After dinner we headed over there for dessert and low and behold. There was a line outside the door. We stood in line maybe 10-15minutes. Not bad considering you getting some fresh hot cookies! When we got to the front they had 2 iPads where u place your order and pay which could be why it took long. We placed our order for the 6 pack so we could have one of each flavor that they had available. They also had ice cream so we got one of them too. Waiting about 2 minutes for them to box up our yummy goodness. And they showed us the box and confirmed before closing it up and handing it over. We got outside and started digging in. It was hot, fresh, thick and gooey soft. My kinda cookie! The flavors were good some basic and a wild one in the bunch too. The flavors change weekly so this could be dangerous!! This week they had chocolate potato chip, chocolate chip, dulce de leche, vanilla cupcake, Kentucky butter cake, and sugar cookie. My fave was the Kentucky butter cake! I ordered the creamsicle, and some double cookie with a baby chocolate chip cookie on top of the large cookie and a confetti cookie. All very delicious!! Well, after this review, I'm going to the hospital in a sugar coma. Dunno what else to say. 15$ for a box of 4. Seems excessive but really is one of the best cookies I've ever had. And I didn't even eat it same day. It was still really soft. Super rich. You must have it with milk to break up the sugar factor. They use credit cards only. Yum yum yum yum is all I have to say! I've been aching to try this place for over a year! Finally, a few days ago while running errands, we drove right past it in the shopping plaza and I practically forced my fiancee to stop so I could run in and get some cookies to try. I liked the no-nonsense entry and easy order methods at the kiosk where you place your order and they have the cookies displayed right there for you to see the current featured flavors up close and personal while you decide. It even tells you which ones will be served warm or not. I chose to go with 4 since it was my first time and I couldn't choose. I wanted everything. We ended up with the Pink Frosted Classic, a milk chocolate chip, Cinnamon toast (something like that) and a Rolo Oatmeal covered with melted Rolo's (by far the best). They had some other flavors I wanted as well but the cookies are huge and expensive so four was my max... with tip it was close to $20 for 4 cookies! I like the premise - the flavors rotate and you can try different ones and they're warm and fresh. It smells Devine when you walk in and you are greeted by the staff in the back that you can clearly see through glass dividers making the cookie goodness happen while they prep orders. When my order was ready a gal brought my box over open, showed it to me to ensure it was correct, verified my name and said "enjoy!" She was polite and friendly. I'll be back for a special treat every now and again, a nice addition to the culinary scene here in VAB. read more

After seeing all of the great reviews, I actually feel kind of bad leaving this... Anyway, I visited this establishment after dinner one night in the area. While yes, the cookies are rather large I did not have the same experience as most of these reviews. I ordered the Twix cookie and the sugar cookie. They were both served rather cold, & the sugar cookie was completely inedible. It was just simply nasty, however I didn't realize this until I got all the way back home which was 45 minutes away. The twix cookie was ok, but nothing to write home about. I really don't have much to say about the service because there was a lack in that as well. read more

Now that the line has gone down, we finally were able to give Crumbl Cookies a try after taking the world by storm. And I have to say, we understand the hype!! Crumbl Cookies has different flavors every week, so definitely check their website or social media when planning your visit. The store was very clean, and smelled like a cookie factory! The staff were friendly and greeted us when we entered the store, but the introvert in me loved the fact that you order from an iPad instead of talking to someone. Beside the iPad they have the cookie flavors laid out for you to look at. We opted for the 4 pack to try the flavors we really wanted-- dark dream (like double chocolate), s'mores, carrot cake and milk chocolate chip! The cookies came out pretty quickly, and I appreciate how the staff didn't stare while we got a photo opt with them. Let me tell you, the cookies are DENSE! More like mini cakes than cookies. We enjoyed all of them, and to our surprise our favorite was the carrot cake! I think this is the perfect place to go if you want something sweet but don't necessarily want ice cream. Usually when I get cookies, they get hard after a day, but not these. The store has a boutique(y) feel. Very bright and clean. When we went, there was a long line...like out the door long. We came around 8pm on a weekday. But trust me, the wait is so worth it. We got 2 nutella, 1 white chocolate macadamia and 1 chocolate chip. They were all delicious. They come fresh, made to order and packaged in a cute box. We had one while it was still warm, and omg...it was to die for. We heated 1 up in a toaster oven, and it was still good. Give in to the hype my kids said. It will be worth it they said. Clearly TikTok PR is doing amazing things for Crumbl. Last time we were down by the Outer Banks it was a Sunday, so Crumbl was closed. My kids were ecstatic to see a location open in Virginia Beach. And so I gave in and took them there. It's a super cute little spot at Hilltop and they seemed to be doing a great job managing the line of customers. I had checked the menu before hand and my kids and husband had selected their cookie flavors ahead of time so ordering was a breeze. Their flavors change every Monday so if cookies are your jam, make sure the check back every week. We purchased the Pineapple Whip, Macadamia, Chocolate Chip, and Hawaiian Rainbow. My oldest lives for pineapple so she was over the moon that the Pineapple Whip had pineapple IN the cookie. She said it was "amazing". My youngest had the Hawaiian Rainbow and said it was a sugar cookie with coconut frosting. She concluded that it was "delicious". We use to live in Hawaii and I knew my husband would enjoy the macadamia white chocolate and he did, but he did say it was pretty sweet (vs homemade cookies which I tend to make a little less sweet). Overall fun place with good cookies. It's about $20 for 6 so probably about on par with what I would expect to pay. The cookies are good size, definitely not to be consumed in one sitting (neither kid nor husband could finish the whole thing all at once). No gluten free options and even if there was the cross contamination would be too much to risk, but I'm glad my family got to enjoy them. Will probably be back for family treats. read more
