Came here twice on vacation, as I stayed in the hotel it is attached to. The first visit, was not that great, ordered a sandwich with a side salad. Sandwich was mostly bread, and they forgot my salad even after asking about it three times. Went back a few days later, when they had a different server, and it was a much better experience. My son got a chocolate milkshake, and we ordered a Pizza. Pizza was great, and he loved his shake. We sat in the bar area, and the bartender served us, she did a great job. TLDR: sit at the bar, don't order sandwich unless you love mostly bread. Pizza is great. read more

Service was terrible. None of the waiters were coordinating. Multiple took our orders and didn't bring most of the drinks we ordered. Food came out and was wrong multiple times. And when two of the three meals finally came out right they were both bad. The third meal had to be remade three times with something wrong each time, and when it came out the final time the shrimp were cold. A bar and restaurant that caters to those who stay within the hotel. Cons: Odd location on the 2nd Floor. You can miss it easily. Pros: Good for kids during the day Good for adults at night. Food is really good guys, seriously. The kiddos will appreciate the freshness and size of the chicken tenders and fries. Philly cheese steaks , burgers onion rings are good. The food is fresh and made to order. The Bartenders and waitstaff are Friendly and attentive. Outdoor dining with umbrellas and nite lights depending on what time you frequent. Live music and karaoke on certain days. Conclusion: Feed the kids for lunch or kick back dive style at night. Good food , good drinks ,good people . Hootin and hollerin is encouraged. read more

We stayed at Compass Cove for 1 month and got to take advantage of the $4.99 lunch menu (it stops every year March 1)For $4.99 you can pick things like pulled pork on a bun, a burger, chicken salad sandwich, chicken tenders, etc. all coming with fries.That winter menu also features $1 soda and $2 vodkas!Outside of the winter specials, they still have some random food/drink specials that pop up, but the food is good. Terrible, even despicable, is the worst food a non - fast food restaurant has to offer. Let's get started on the chicken wings, disgusting nearly as hard as a rock, dry, overcooked, just bad. Now the fries, at first they were okay, but after about 2 and a half minutes they started to dry and again were as hard as a rock that you literally could not bend them so they just snapped. The Mahi tacos were just okay, the tortillas it came with were tasteless, and the Mahi was alright with one in the taco being extremely stale. They were also very small and could not fill you up. Now, the spicy buffalo shrimp wrap, it was good, but again the fries were bad, the wrap started hardening over time (which seems like a common trend in this overpriced dump). We had 3 drinks which came out to be $9, my mom's strawberry rum was $14. The waiter was extremely rude and lazy, almost like he didn't want to do anything, he got no tip, the food the waiter, everything was terrible, except the drinks and the view, and that's sad. Do you want to know the price for this food (which came in small amounts and was bad and then just got worse over time.) $65, with that we could've gone to red lobster or someplace actually good, AND MIGHT I ADD, MIGHT HAVE GOT FILLED FROM RED LOBSTER UNLIKE THIS. Don't sit outside unless you want to get puked on. We ate outside for a nice family dinner then while we were eating someone puked off the balcony and we were covered in puke as well as our food. Very disappointing and we had guests visiting too. read more

This has always been one of my favorite features of compass cove hotel. How convenient that they have lunch/dinner/bar located right in the hotel? We ate there a couple times this week and we're not disappointed. The prices were decent, especially considering they could charge more since the only other option is going out to eat, and honestly the food was pretty good. Decided to eat here because it was located conveniently inside of our hotel building. We ordered the Southern Sipper and Peach on the Beach cocktails before our food and neither seemed to have alcohol in them. For food, the kids got a hot dog and a hamburger w/ chips that they seemed fine with. My fiancé got the chicken wings and I got the pulled pork sandwich. Our food was nothing short of terrible. The chicken wings seemed microwaved and were cold in the middle. We also found a bone in the pulled pork and it seemed reheated as well. Everything was also incredibly greasy and flavorless. Nice little convenient spot with the Compass Cove Resort that I was staying at. The outdoor dining area with the oceanview was great. There was a DJ with some WHACK Karaoke going on. I ordered buffalo wings and fries. I received chicken wings with Blue cheese and hot sauce (Franks Red Hot,sucks) which IS NOT BUFFALO WINGS! But they are not the first establishment to claim to have "Buffalo Wings" on the menu. read more

It's been a couple of years since my family and I had stayed at Compass Cove but upon returning this past week, we were EXTREMELY disappointed in the Crow's Nest! Food = ridiculous. The burgers are nothing more than frozen patties with Kraft cheese singles. The fries = so caked with fried batter I don't think they've changed their grease in years. The drinks = weak (examples include long island ice tea, jack and coke and bloody Mary). We went twice during our visit, once for dinner and mistakenly a second time for drinks, and I assure you we will never come back again. It's disappointing that the food and drinks are so awful here, because the location is perfect for Compass Cove stayers. read more

My family came here our first night. It was a Saturday night. We all ended up with food posioning! We are around 9pm. My 12 son sleep on the bathroom floor because he didn't think he could make it to the toilet. He was better by the next day. My 10 year old little girl had to throw away her under wear because she could not run to the bathroom fast enough. Then puked after that all on the kitchen and bathroom. She was sick for 30 hrs. My wife spent the whole night on the toilet and felt like she had to puke for 36hrs. She is still in the room this Sunday afternoon. I felt like I had to puke from Sunday to early Monday. I had to sleep sitting up in my bed. I went to talk with hotel management to explain the situation. He called my wife in the room and was completely dismissive about the whole thing. We all ate onion pedals. My son ate the least. But he was the first to get better. My wife and little girl ate the most and were the worst off. But the view point of the manager was there was no way it could have been that food. Anyone who knows about the food business knows that cross contamination happens. Not even though my little girl and son told him what happens he insisted it wasn't that! We ask to speak with a higher up. Because we never ask for anything. We just didn't want this to happen to someone else. No resolve yet. I doubt we will stay at compass cove again. Yet alone ever eat at this resurant. read more
