First class company. Very professional excellent work! Had to wait a while but worth the wait.

My review with crown builders is 10 out of 10. We are 100% satisfied in the customer service. They were there promptly on time to see what we wanted done. Workers did a phenomenal job on our siding. We will be using them again on another project on our home. read more

Great experience for our window replacement- no pressure sales team and the crew was fantastic - cleaned up after job and completed 26 windows in two days. read more

Crown did a great job repairing my chimney box and roof after a tree hit our house. They were easy to work with as they reframed the chimney, added new sliding, and reshingled the roof. I also had them redo the soffits and gutters and are very pleased. The two individuals I worked with were Andrew and Michael Smith and they were great to work with. read more

Examples of the work performed by Crown Builders. The General Manager,  Kevin Woods, lacked focus, delaying completion of exterior work for two months, replaces a broken window with another broken window, and has thus far not addressed the company's poor quality work. In response to this mess, Woods refer to his worker as having good skills. read more

Excellent service! I needed three windows, John was helpful and efficient. I recommend Crown Builders

Although they did a pretty good job on the house , they left a mess when they were finished which is completely unprofessional. There is nails all over the yard that they didn't pick up and I have 3 children which they knew. Just disappointed. read more

Crown Builders - Windows Installation Near Me - Charlotte, North Carolina

I had these guys put on a new roof and install gutters. The work they did was good, but communication was a bit of an issue. After a bit of discussion with them we ended up on the same page in the end. read more

Ok.... These guys are amazing!! Kevin was the biggest help and made the whole process of re-siding our house painless, and in fact fun to say the least. My husband made the call to search for contractors to re-side our house. This was the second place we called. They came out, checked out the house and gave us the quote. Kevin stopped by to drop of siding options and talk colors. He talked to me about color options and what he thought would look good. (My husband was thinking of brown...so any other color sounded good.) Just beyond friendly and helpful. They started the house and were done in less than a week. Which is amazing. We live in an older home, so as I was watching the transformation I just couldn't believe that this good looking house was mine. Kevin would drop by to make sure all was going well. Once all the siding was up his crew cleaned and perfected within about 2 days and of course Kevin reached out to make sure everything was to our liking. When I say GREAT customer service, I mean it. These guys not only did awesome work but their sheer ability to treat us as neighbors and not just paying customers was what really stood out to me. They have experience and knowledge about this field and their work speaks for itself. read more

They went above and beyond. Everyone, from sales to office to installation crew, was professional and responsive to any concern. Am more than satisfied with windows and experience. read more

Great company to work with, very accommodating. Everyone was very understanding and nice to work with. I would use Crown Builders in the future if needed. Over all rating 5 Star. read more

I have used Crown on two separate occasions and each time I was more than pleased with the quality of the product and workmanship. I did a full house window replacement and the windows worked beautifully. The salesperson was prompt, courteous and very knowledgeable with their products. Never once tried to "{upsell" or misrepresent what I was receiving. I had a "special" window and at the time could not afford to replace it with the full package . I was talked into a local company coming and doing the large window at a much reduced price. Sure i may have saved $100.00 bucks but I got exactly what i paid for. The window was not installed to the standards of Crown and the actual window was not up to the quality of the windows that I had purchased from Crown. Lesson learned. Crown even corrected a mistake on the window not purchased from them at no additional charge to me. I am now living outside of Crowns service area and needing many many windows/doors and wish that I were closer so that I could trust the company that does the work. I have referred several friends to Crown and will continue to do so. I was completely satisfied and happy with Crown Builders. read more

Crown Builders installed our roof, windows and siding in 2010. They did an excellent job. Great to work with. They made the process smooth. The quality of the workmanship was on point. We have not had any issues at all. I see one of my neighbors is getting ready to have them install siding for them as well :) Great decision. read more

I considered five companies to do my windows and I went with Crown because they seemed to have the best combo of price, quality and promised service. The workmanship of the team that did the install was top notch, the quality was as advertised, and I am very happy with the final product. What I am MOST happy about is the following: the project went a little sideways when we discovered Crown's window distributor provided the wrong sash design for a couple of our upstairs windows. I saw it first and pointed it out to one of the installers. I was concerned we might get into a debate over them being "right" or not, afraid I was about to either (1) be forced to live with windows that didn't match OR (2) that the mistake might be put back on me for not clearly communicating what I wanted and I would get up-charged to make it right. But my concerns were unfounded. The installer looked at the windows and immediately said, "yep, those are wrong, aren't they?" and then he assured me that it would not be a big deal to get the right sash styles ordered and swapped out and that I would not be charged. Not knowing anything about windows, that was a huge relief to hear. When they came back with the right design, they swapped them out super quick and on top of all that, they gave me a discount as a way of apologizing for the mistake and taking responsibility for the delay in the job. When things go smoothly with a company, that's nice. However, when things get messed up and a company goes above and beyond to make it right, then THAT is a "5 out of 5" star company. read more

I have used Crown on 2 different houses and was pleased with the windows all the way around. Nice quality windows, well installed and service has always been great. Have not had any issues with the workmanship. In the rental house, it was broken into and the robbers damaged the window glass. Crown came out and replaced it for me. I gutted my current house in 2007 and reused the same windows that were installed many years ago by Crown. They still look great. read more

We used Crown Builders on two homes in the Corneilus area. Want to change the look of your home and not sure how it will look? No problem, with Daryl's art skills, he will sketch it out for you. Couldn't be happier with the final outcome. read more

The owner Darryl is awesome. He showed up on time, professional and courteous. He was very detailed and showed us all of the potential problems with our house but did not pressure us to buy anything. Once he gave us the line by line quote, we chose to have him start with windows and siding. His crew was professional and cleaned up after every day. The end result looks fantastic. I highly recommend Crown Builders. read more

Crown Builders just put vinyl siding on our house. They were awesome from the first meeting with Michael to get a quote to thanking the team of Johnny and Brian for a great job done. Michael came over and brought samples for us to look at and walked around our to see what all needed to be done. We had some extra work that needed to be done to our trim and he offered some great ideas to fix our problems. Michael was very friendly and knowledgeable. He did not try to push us into signing a contract that night. Johnny and Brian were very meticulous with their work. They went above and beyond with what they were suppose to do. Overall, we were very pleased with the job that they did. They were very competitive with their prices. We would highly recommend them for jobs that need to be done around the house. read more

Crown Builders is a very shady company. They sell roofing and siding but, they contract out the work to questionable crews that do the work for cheap. I had some personal valuables stolen from me while one of their crews was working at my home and the owners would barely listen to my complaints and pretty much laughed it off. I was overcharged in the end and was sold a cheaper product that what was agreed apon and paid to be used. I would steer clear of this business. There are many other much more reputable companies to do business with in the Charlotte area. read more

At the end of 2014, my wife and I were looking install new siding, a new roof and new windows. I pass by Crown Builders on Monroe Rd. twice a day on my way to work, so thought I would give them a call. It was the best decision I made. Their candor, ideas, product offerings and experience made it an easy choice to go with this business. Additionally, their pricing was competitive (better in most cases) with other companies. The other thing to highlight that you never know about until you get into a project is their use of contractors to complete the work. I would say that most contractors who did work on our house have been working with Crown for 10-20 years. This is telling in that they treat the people who do work for them with respect. Their project manager assigned to our house worked quickly if there was an issue and was extremely responsive, which is important in the middle of a project as he owned the project as if it was his house getting renovated. You always wonder when you get work done on your house if you're getting quality products and service at a fair price, and I can say that, without a doubt, we got all three (and more), with Crown. I would say I would use them again, but they work we had done should last for a long time. All I can do is highly recommend them to others as fantastic company and group of people to work with. read more

We had a new roof and gutters put on our home. We met with the salesman and discussed the type of shingles (architectural) and the gutters/covers we wanted. The salesman quoted us a price, referring to the shingles as 15-yr shingles. He then e-mailed us another quote, with a different price, referring to the shingles as 20-yr shingles. We called and stated that we didn't need to pay more for a longer yr shingle and wanted to go with what we had discussed, the architectural shingles. When the crew came out and began the roofing process, I looked at the shingles and realized that they were the 3-tab, not the architectural ones we had repeatedly asked for. When I called the salesman to discuss this error, he said that I had signed the quote for the 15-yr shingle, which was the 3-tab. So, he felt we were in error, not him or the company. The gutters were then installed several days later, with a leaf cover. The cover was not at all like the one the salesman had described and the installers seemed to feel that he didn't know what he was talking about. In the end, the roof and gutters look good and are doing the job they should. However, we did not get the products that we thought we were getting, or that we thought we were paying for. read more
