I know it seems uncomfortable to sign a contract with them without knowing the full extent of the cost BUT DO IT!!!! They are the most knowledgeable in this area and are incredibly supportive thru every step! We had an interior leak after the tornado and the initial insurance assessment was around $9k. To me at the time, I was like great I can get my witch's hat and the interior fixed. What I did not know was the actual extent of the damage and the actual cost to properly restore my home back to it's original state. The insurance company is not your advocate remember that! They want to pay you out and move to the next claim. You NEED your own representatives that have your interest in mind. Michael worked so hard to get our witch's hat repaired properly which ended costing 2.5x more a far cry from the original estimate which included interior and valley repairs. The story does not end here. Next came the shingles along the valleys that needed to be replaced. My original shingle had been discontinued - the insurance company wanted to do a close match with an inferior shingle that did NOT match and was going to be very visible since it was right in the front of the house! Well again with Michael and teams' guidance - we got the equivalent quality luxury shingle and the full roof replaced! In the interior, they uses DeHaan Painting, who is amazing, to fix the interior damage which was not easy because of the bull nose walls which the insurance company did not take into account. Hence they massive shorted the original estimate. At the end, the final number to fix everything was 5x more then the starting estimate! The quality of work is amazing - we did not have an easy project - our roof was no joke to fix but now there are NO MORE leaks and everything looks amazing!!!! A HUGE THANK YOU!!! They were courteous, prompt, and had excellent follow up in working with my schedule to coordinate the appt. The owner Michael Garrie came out personally to inspect the issue since they had replaced the roof in 2014. Although the leak doesn't appear to be the result of the roof failing, John was able to help me pinpoint the source of the problem being the edge of the chimney where it had likely settled over the years. He referred me to a reputable chimney company and gave valuable advice on how to proceed with repairing. I would highly recommend contacting Signature Exteriors for your roofing needs!

    I have waited a few months before posting this review to give me some time to calm down and write…read morerationally. I am only writing this review because I hope I can save someone else all the trouble I went through. I will try to keep this as brief as possible, but I could write for days about my experience. The salesman I originally met with was wonderful. He listened to my needs, and we put together a plan that fit my home base upon my budget. The original scope of work was to fully replace my gutters, fascia, vented soffit (my house is old and lacking on vented soffits), trim boarding, front door, and to add ridge vents to my roof. They offered a decent price that was a bit on the high side, but I figured that was fair because I wouldn't be managing the project through several different contractors. I work long hours in another trade so I knew I wouldn't have time to manage everything. The problems started on the first day of work. They decided to start with the gutters, soffit and trim. The scope of work was full replacement. I was able to get off early that day and made my way home to see their progress. The contract I had signed stated they would have a construction dumpster delivered to the property for waste disposal. When I arrived at home, there was no dumpster. I was confused for a moment but decided to watch them work for a while to understand what was going on. After watching them work for 20 mins, I quickly realized they were not following the scope of work I was sold. Instead of replacing everything, they were wrapping the original materials in metal flashing. They were also tacking vented soffits overtop my original soffit (completely rendering the new vents useless). I called a full stop to all work and got the project manager on the phone. After a lot of excuses about how they only replace rotted boards and this was the scope of work I was sold, I showed them the original emails between the salesman and I that stated everything was to be fully replaced. This changed their tune quickly. I inquired about the tacking of the new soffit over my existing soffit and was told that shouldn't have occurred. Since I had photo evidence of it occurring, I asked where the breakdown in communication was. I never got a satisfactory answer. I will never know whether it was the sub-contractor they hired or the project manager who directed this. At this point, I tried to reach out to their corporate office for assistance and met radio silence for weeks. When the customer service manager did finally call, he listened to my story and said he would get back to me. They never did. No matter how many times I called back. At this point, I should have cancelled the remaining projects but working as much as I do, I hoped it would work out. The work continued. While replacing the gutters and soffit, their subcontractors used ladders without padding and my hardy board siding was severely damaged. Hardy board is difficult/impossible to repair so I was livid. After several more conversations with the project manager, they were going to provide me with a quote to replace my siding. The first quote they sent over was outrageously high. I have a tiny house and the quote was well above the average pricing in my area. Eventually they relented and sent over a more reasonable quote. Still high for my area but not outrageous so I agreed to have them replace my siding. Another mistake on my part but being a first time homeowner, I was navigating uncharted waters. They provided a list of color choices and I was told to pick which suited me best. My first two choices "weren't available" so I had to go with my third choice. Doing my own research later, I found out that my first two choices had a higher material cost and believe that is why they denied them. All told, I was ready to move forward with one instruction, "Do not damage my prized lace leaf japanese maple at the front of my home." I have raised the tree for over a decade and it was my pride and joy. I bet you can see where this is going.... I came home during the siding install and over half of my tree's canopy had been damaged or destroyed. The tree is not large and could have been easily worked around with a little care. The project manager was on site when I discovered the damage, and I was so upset that I couldn't even speak to him. Trees are my vocation so I was quick to remind him the next day that I fully understood the laws around damaging a client's trees. To their credit, he took the situation seriously and discount my work by a hefty amount to cover the costs I would need to spend on tree repair/replacement. While I appreciate the gesture, I still am out the decade I spent caring and raising the tree. This isn't half of the review but they won't let me write any more characters.     I went through Lowes to get my siding on my home and happened to tell the guy they sent out I was…read morelooking for an electrician because I couldn't get anyone out here so he sets me up with Remarkable Home Improvements Adam was the job forman and I regret using him, they were supposed to finish everything in 2 weeks didn't happen. I was told by Tommy that their electrician could fix my electrical, they said between $500-for the minimum to 5,000 maximum witch would be minimum of just changing out electrical box $500 to rewiring the whole house for $5000 suffice it to say the only changed the outlet plates and put up new light in the house and charged me the full $5000 then refused to abide by their agreement, they went and bought new spotlights and fire detectors without asking and then charged me an additional $500, I also had them replace my old ac unit but they didn't ask my preference on brand or style and they put in a very noisy unit that is so load at night it is hard to fall asleep. This was February 2025 a year ago. Since then I have had issues with both bathroom exhaust vents, they took down my old spot lights and when they put up the new one in the back yard they place the sensor directly behind the gutter drain so it doesn't detect movement which defeats the purpose of a spot light, They were also supposed to fix the issue of my ductwork I told them it did not get cold on the far side of the house and I needed new ductwork and to make sure all vents were attached well they did not do any of it, the far side doe NOT cool down and they didn't hook up all my vents to the ductwork. I had to trust that Adam would do the job properly because they seemed to always come when I was at work. Also when they put on the siding they ran out of siding and did not finish the front porch and there was still soffit that had rust all over it that they didn't replace everything like they were paid to do so when I asked when they were going to come back to finish the work he said that he would just give me some of my money back and they would leave it as it was. I said no I paid for it I wanted it done, they finished the porch but refused to fix the soffit, he said it was just dirt from where he used the hose to wash the roof. I would not trust anything Adam says he lied to me and did shoddy work and it took almost 3 months to get them to finish the job. i am going to have to still try and find an electrician and an ac company to come fix everything they messed up.
