After the technician left. I called and called and called and asked for someone to come back quickly to do the job. They offered a return visit 1-3 weeks out. That was too late- by that time the new Gutters would be attached to the house and would impossible to fix unless you remove the new gutter. I was charged with hanging a light fixture they never hung and repairing wood rot that they never repaired. I asked for a refund and I think they were refunded about $30 because they said there was a minimum trip charge of $500! no one mentioned that before, but they enforced it even though it was never disclosed, and even though they never did a repair correctly This is a horrible company run as fast as you can away I attest that these facts are true and accurate with no embellishment.

Franklin responded to my request the same day, came by to review the project, listened closely to my concerns, and gave me a very reasonable quote for services. Franklin and his team arrived exactly as scheduled and went straight to work preparing the home to protect my floors, furniture and appliances. In addition, the walls were prepped to make sure nail pops, and other drywall repairs were done prior to painting. I really appreciated the fact that Franklin provided constant communication during the project, making sure that I was aware and satisfied throughout every phase. The SCS painting team was very professional, worked quickly, and created a beautiful space for my family. As a matter of fact, the work was done so well, we ended up painting additional rooms. I cannot say enough about Franklin's attention to detail, and willingness to go above and beyond to make sure the customer is completely satisfied. My wife and I absolutely loved the completed project, and will definitely use them for any future painting or flooring needs. SCS Painting is truly Charlotte's best kept secret!

Franklin painted all of the baseboards and several areas that were not on the contract because he wanted everything to look perfect. It does ! He called or texted daily about their progress and schedule. I plan to use SCS for my home's exterior painting in the spring.

Roger surpassed our expectations on communication, as he was courteous, responsive, and thorough. We also never had any trouble getting hold of him if we needed to. They worked quickly, carefully, and cleanly, always taking care to pick up at the end of the day. You could tell that any member of his crew was well-experienced and took pride in their work. Roger came highly recommended to us and we would not hesitate to recommend him to others. We will definitely be using his services again in the future, as we would even think to call on anyone else.

We called him (after recommendation from our friend/realtor) with a very tight timeframe and he was able to come out the very next day and started work a few days later. The wife wanted a different color so I contacted Jonh (yes, spelled correctly) and 3 other contractors for quotes. Ultimately we selected Jonh's team for professionalism, accessibility, attention to detail, customer care and really just a gut level feel after meeting Jonh. The quotes were coming in late Friday night and early Saturday morning from all contractors. Jonh stayed in touch throughout the weekend, started early Monday and completed our 2 story, ~3k square foot home by Tuesday evening. The quality of work is outstanding and the attention to detail is impeccable. We stayed through the set-up, prep and early painting stages of the project and were just knocked-out by the craftsmanship. Upon completion, Jonh didn't want any payment until I returned to approve the finished product several days later. Literally, the best customer service experience I've ever had. I had the whole interior of my house painted as well as a built-in bookcase. Originally I was told…read moreit would take two days to paint the walls, then it was bumped to three after I added the bookcase (it's huge, so it made sense). After the first day of painting I was told it'd be done in two, but they probably should have used that third day. Some places look nice, but others definitely look rushed. There are places where you can see the paint dripped and dried with the dripping, some places I still see the original paint color, and they got paint all over my light fixtures and even some on the doors. The bookcase looks great, but I can no longer switch around the shelves to different levels because it looks like they put them back in wet, so when I remove a shelf, there's a nasty dark smear where the shelf meets the bookcase that's only hidden if the shelf remains in place. It felt like a rushed job and I was given five minutes to say if I was pleased with it or not. It wasn't until I was fully moved in that I began noticing all the poor work. Another complaint, I know they didn't use the paint color I gave them; they color matched it somewhere else and painted the cans so I wouldn't see the brand was wrong.
