His crew of two men installed a very professional and aesthetically pleasing marble mosaic backsplash. I'm pleased to say they were organized and timely with my kitchen backsplash. They were also friendly and efficient. Roger did a great job supervising and coordinating all the important details of the project. It provided a beautiful modern update to my kitchen. Also, it will provide a nice protective barrier against food and beverage splashes. Roger is also doing a master bathroom remodel for me, which I will update with a review in the future. I hired Roger from Finishing Touches based on online reviews and with the hope that he might provide "quality work and exceptional customer service" as stated on his website. Throughout much of the timeline involved, his communication was very forthcoming on a sizable tile install he was addressing for me. Roger sold this job on the guarantee that the removal of old tile being replaced would generate a lot of dust and debris as the floor surface (concrete) would need to be smooth and clean before new tile was installed, and that any other contractor who said otherwise would not be truthful. He said he could use an air purifying machine that would suck all of the dust from the work site up and expel it outside as purified air. Not only did he not provide this machine (oddly claiming later that my job didn't need it when he had assessed the site at first visit) not even a shop vac was provided to collect the considerable amount of dust and debris generated, even though I inquired about the use of one on more than one occasion. Only after the tile was installed, and little debris remained, was one brought to the site. I repeatedly found myself sweeping up dust and debris (using my own dustpan) since the workers assigned to the job were not very thorough with this, and individuals I spoke with at flooring stores confirmed new tile should be laid on a smooth and clean surface before install. At final payment, there were a few ragged edges on new tile meeting old tile in a laundry closet, so I asked Roger if he could address this, but he claimed the tile was uneven to begin with (it was cut by his installers) and has since ended all follow up communication. A door that sticks when opening due to the new tile install also remains unaddressed. While his workers were, for the most part, hardworking and competent, skill levels were variable, and communication somewhat challenging as unfortunately I don't speak much Spanish. read more

I had this company give my bathroom an updated look. They said it would take a couple of weeks. Well one problem after another. They are now going on 3 months. Don't show up. Don't fix mistakes. We hired Roger on the recommendation of family to remodel 3 bathrooms and paint work throughout our house. Roger and his team are tremendously nice guys, always polite and very hardworking. Our house is older and needed a lot of work and TLC. I have discovered through my own remodel projects that there is always more to it here. His tradesmen were always up to the challenge and took the time to do the job right, even when it was a little more than they may have bargained for. What really stood out to me was how much pride they took in their work. They would finish an area or room and come find us to show us what they had done to make sure we were satisfied but I could also tell they were excited to show off the results. I feel I was treated fairly throughout with pricing and value, even with changes and overages, I never felt taken advantage of. This was our first experience with a home improvement project and Roger made the entire process simple and less daunting than we thought it would be.
