I was pleasantly surprised by the low-pressure sales approach, which differed from other reviews…read moreI'd seen. The pre-installation process was straightforward and very helpful, giving me a clear understanding of what to expect. Unfortunately, installation day brought several complications. A team of three began installing 16 windows, but just 15 minutes in, one technician badly twisted an ankle and had to leave. The remaining two proceeded to remove all windows on a scorching 90+ degree day before starting replacements, turning my home into an uncomfortably hot and humid environment. While they finished the installation that day, it was an incredibly long shift, from just before 10 AM until 9 PM, requiring my continuous supervision. I noted that a drop cloth was only used for the very first window, which helped with the mess initially but wasn't continued. Another issue was the window color. I had specified a tan/wicker exterior with a white interior, but received entirely white windows. To avoid a 6-8 week delay and a $350 rescheduling fee, I accepted them. They do look good, and the white exterior matches my previous windows, so I'm not overly concerned about this. My primary outstanding concern is a gutter downspout that was removed during installation and never reinstalled. Despite multiple calls (three to the install team, two to the service team), I haven't received any communication or action to rectify this. This lack of follow-up so soon after installation makes me question the reliability of their warranty service.

I am extremely disappointed with my experience with Window Nation…read more I had a representative come to my home to provide a quote for 8 windows. After the appointment, I decided to take a few days to do my due diligence and gather a couple of additional quotes before making a decision. Three days later, I received an email from the Sales Manager, Richard Hansen, with a revised quote. Surprisingly, the new price was significantly lower than the original quote, but it was for 11 windows instead of the 8 I actually needed. Since the pricing was much more competitive, I reached back out and simply asked for the same pricing to be adjusted for the 8 windows I wanted to purchase. Richard responded that the lower price had been sent in error due to a "system glitch" and that Window Nation would not honor it. Mistakes can happen, but what was most disappointing was the company's unwillingness to stand behind the quote they sent or make any effort to find a reasonable solution. As a customer who was genuinely interested in moving forward, it left me feeling that the pricing was inconsistent and that customer satisfaction wasn't a priority. I expected better communication and better customer service from a company of this size. Unfortunately, this experience has caused me to take my business elsewhere.

Nightmare. We have since been paying multiple contractors…read moreto come fix all of the mistakes Drew, his daughter and their helper made. Drew was hired to install @ 20 new windows where there were none, to get a better view of the lake in a three year old home we had just bought in 2021. Many ended up leaking, siding was hacked (over cut) in ways that were unnecessary and costly to replace. They deeply scratched new dining room picture window when their tool fell, it also scratched the entire width of my just purchased antique dining table (that we had covered) and they never admitted it to me, but we have it happening live on our home video camera. They made such a mess of drywall repair around new windows that the drywall had to be all ripped out and redone costing us another $7,000.00. They left mulling out of the joined windows that I asked them repeatedly to install (and they agreed) to but never did. They took months (to not complete) what he said would take him two to three weeks. They brought a broken shop vac when doing the drywall and it blew all the drywall dust into a complete fog throughout the house. When I asked his daughter why she was doing this to my house she said "It's was because our shop vac hose is broke and we don't want to get another until we are done with your job." Once you give them a deposit or draw they disappear for a few weeks to the next job. Drew also has a very hot temper, he is loud and yells at you if you question him-he even called my husband as "ass" in our own home when my husband only asked him where he had been the two weeks he disappeared (for the 10th time). Drew still has $1,500.00 of ours to install three windows he never unwrapped or even installed. Drew was also lying to us the entire time when I asked him if he was the door guy my first contractor hired to put in all new interior doors and frames for us while we were in California. Drew lied to my face and said he wasn't "that guy" and that he didn't know the contractor I was referring to, when it was him all along. We also had to have all the doors Drew installed ripped out and redone, which cost us another $6,800.00. The interior doors he installed were half done and no wood shims- but foam. Many didn't close and the hinges were installed backwards. I have photos of all of this. I ended up having to fire Drew because I couldn't take the lies, delays and horrible work a minute longer. If we could give Drew a negative amount of stars we would.

I hired this business to take out a very large piece of glass in an historic building in downtown…read moreand replace it. It had to be ordered and then fit to the copper frame. The came through on time and on budget. I could not be more pleased. They have my business in the future..

This was our first time using this company and our experience was terrible…read more When we dropped off our garage window to have pane replaced, John told us they could replace one pane of glass in the double pane window for $26. A week later when we stopped to see if it was done they had broken the other pane of glass trying to get broken glass out. On this day the lady working who had a terrible attitude and ran down every other employee that worked there stated it would now be $68 to fix, even though they broke the 2nd pane. She stated it would be another 7-10 days. So we go back in another week and it still isn't done, so we wait while the guy finishes it up. While we are waiting, we ask for an invoice and was told by the guy in the office who stated he just does the computer work that they don't do invoices. So we ask if we can pay while we wait, he states using a card? we ask how much our bill is and he replies I don't know. How can we pay if nobody knows what the total bill amount is? Ridiculous! We get home and one of the latches to lock the window with is broken off. They were both on when we took the window in. This business is poorly ran and no customer service or professionalism. WE will find another glass to do business with in the future.
