We were very, very impressed with both the quality of work that Cory, Noah and Desmond provided but also with the customer service that was provided immediately after when we experienced an issue. The morning after they finished the work we awoke to no hot water and no air conditioning. We checked everything we knew to check on our end with no success. Then we call Dry Otter. Our thought at that point was that in doing the work under the house some wires to the other units had accidentally been pulled loose enough to cause problems but not loose enough to be noticed. They very quickly sent a team out to go back in and look. When their team couldn't find anything, they upped their game and called in an electrician. He was able to fix the issue with the hot water heater. That left the AC unit. It was still not working and it was hot outside. So, we called our HVAC guy that we have used for years. Our guy came out, found that problem quickly and fixed it. I went ahead and paid him, then called Dry Otter for reimbursement which they did very rapidly. So long story short, their customer service is great as well. Were they the cheapest of the 6 companies we got quotes from? No, they were about in the middle. But we were very impressed with them from the very beginning and were impressed all the way to the end.

Dry Otter has also left a large air buffer in my house, you would think they may need this.

For many of us, we never climb in there and the pictures clearly showed its condition. From there, Cory removed the old dirty plastic and debris left from the house's construction. He then leveled the ground by hand, so it would be uniform under the new plastic. He also cleaned the surface of the drainage pipes, tacked up loose insulation and wires, and inspected the ventilation vents. He installed the new plastic from the high side of the crawl space to the low end, and laid the seams so if any water was leaking in, it stayed under the plastic. The change was enormous, and the cost was very reasonable. Now the job is complete and we have a clean and dry crawl space. Job well done!

I am truly amazed by the outstanding service provided by Wetlock Waterproofing (Cory works with his son) especially in a time of urgent need. We got flooded big time! Cory, the owner of Wetlock Waterproofing, went above and beyond by promptly addressing a sump pump failure late one night. He responded to our call immediately and showed up within half hr. He undertook a substantial task of fixing the water damage in the crawl space. It was no small feat. He meticulously assessed the extent of the water damage and developed a plan to address it effectively. Damage fixed. Installation of new pumps done. Encapsulation pristine. The crawl space is now transformed into a clean, dry and functional area. "You can call me anytime even in the middle of the night" he said one day while the work was still in progress and the rain kept coming! That same night, more water started coming in our living space and I took him to his word! I called at 1am. He came with a smile. He took care of the situation till the next day as he procceded to finish a very messy task. "You can go back to bed" he said. "I'll see you in the morning!" Beyond grateful! Excellent communication throughout the process put me at ease, knowing that we were in good hands. He kept us informed of progress demonstrating dedication to his workmanship and care for people overall. Cory did not accept any payment until the job was completed to our satisfaction, showcasing the companie's integrity. His willingness to go the extra mile, even in the middle of the night, sets this company apart as a company that truly cares. Overall, I am beyond impressed with him and wholeheartedly recommend him to anyone seeking top-notch waterproofing services as well as exceptional care and kindness for the people in the home.

We knew the project was going to be challenging. However, we found a partner in Foundation Doctor, who was up for the challenge. We found them to be easy to work with as we were working out the bids/pricing, determining the differences between their proposal and the other 2 companies(nationally owned and WAY MORE costly). Michael was a PLEASURE to work with. Once onsite, Mason did an outstanding job coordinating the crew. His ability to keep everyone aligned and ensure smooth execution made a noticeable difference in the project's success. Mason demonstrated exceptional leadership throughout, communicating along the way regarding updates and issues found. Mason not only coordinated the crew with precision, ensuring tasks were completed efficiently and with a sense of urgency, but also guided the team through significant challenges posed by hard, rocky soil. Their proactive problem-solving and adaptability kept the project moving forward without delays. Mason's commitment to delivering top-quality work was evident in every detail, and their focus on excellence ensured our expectations were exceeded. Overall, Mason's efforts, along with "Q" showing up to give this project a shot of energy, had a direct impact on getting us across the finish line, maintaining high standards, and creating a positive experience for us, making them invaluable contributors to this project's success. I/we have no doubt we will recommend their services for anyone needing results bordering on "miracle" status. I'm sure we will sleep a little easier at night knowing our home is much safer thanks to Michael, Stephen, Jackie, Mason, Q, and the other superstars!

Our issue involved a basement leak that required exterior waterproofing along the foundation wall, and it was one of the most challenging projects I've ever seen. Due to the location of the leak, much of the work had to be done by hand. The team carefully excavated along the side of our house and managed to protect and work around our HVAC units without requiring them to be removed and reinstalled. This was important to us because it would have added a lot of cost and we would have been without heat in the house for days. They installed a drain line at the base of the foundation, backfilled with gravel, applied a waterproof membrane and dimple board, and ran underground drain lines to the backyard that also tied into our gutter system. They were extremely careful while trenching in the backyard, finding existing cable lines, irrigation lines, and other utilities without damaging anything. When the job was complete, they thoroughly cleaned the area and made sure we were completely satisfied with the results. Communication with Dani (the owner) was excellent throughout the entire process. Unlike another company we considered, he never tried to upsell us or recommend unnecessary work. Their price was very fair and there were no surprises with the final bill. We truly appreciate their professionalism and would absolutely call them first for any future waterproofing needs. Highly recommended!

They did the work in an efficient and timely manner and each and every interaction with Mr. Andino was prompt, kind, and courteous. The inspector wasn't concerned about the mold, but recommended a more robust vapor barrier and continued use of a dehumidifier. We had both installed before we moved in. After about a year, the crawlspace seemed very damp, so we contacted three companies (not Intellivent) to explore solutions including encapsulation. All three companies recommended encapsulation, and we chose the highest end solution, which included a commercial grade dehumidifier and sump pump. The installation of the bright white liner gave our crawlspace a clean look and fresh smell - the musty odor under the house was gone! We read online that encapsulation can cause a "cat urine" type odor but the installer assured us that this was not a common problem and certainly not in our area (upstate South Carolina). However, within six months, after returning from a weekend getaway, we came home to the dreaded "cat urine smell." It was seeping up from the vents throughout the house. We were horrified. We emailed the encapsulation company and they admitted, "From time to time we do have customers who say that they have noticed an unpleasant odor after an encapsulation. Often the cause of this is the insulation between the floor joists. ... If you'd like we can remove the current insulation to attempt to remedy the odor. The total cost for that service would be $2400." This was a drop in the bucket compared to what we paid for the encapsulation, but we were concerned that they were suddenly admitting--in writing--that this is a known problem. And they couldn't guarantee that this would fix the problem. We felt we couldn't trust them. We wondered why they wouldn't include insulation removal as a part of their process if it causes this horrible odor for ANY of their customers. The smell was bad enough that we couldn't enjoy our home. It interrupted our sleep. I was embarrassed when we had visitors and couldn't fathom having overnight guests. I was in full panic mode. I seriously contemplated paying someone to rip out all of the encapsulation material. I dove back into online research which only fueled my panic. It's awful to hear how many people have this problem. But then I came across Michael Masserang's videos for Intellivent on YouTube. It was the first time I heard such a straight-forward message about the problem. And when he said "don't panic" and "this can be fixed" I wanted to cry. Could it be true? The team came all the way from Moorseville to assess our problem and assured us -- with a 100% money back guarantee in writing -- that it could be fixed. The Atmox system has been installed for nearly a month and we could not be happier. The installation team was efficient and professional, and left our space cleaner than they found it. The bad odor in our home disappeared almost immediately and the odor in the crawl space is greatly reduced. We're sleeping soundly and enjoying the fresh air in our home. If you are experiencing this problem I highly recommend that you contact the good folks at Intellivent. It's going to be okay!
