I found a local cabinet maker that offered the color and style we wanted at over $1000 less (all wood vs MDF), but required they install to protect again potential damage during transport or installation, which makes sense to me. I called Karen to share we were ready to sign and set a date and was floored by her attitude and response. Karen flipped out and told me unless she and Mike installed it, they were dropping our project we've been waiting on for months. I asked if they would assume liability if something should happen and she said No, raised her voice, and hung up on me. I'm not sure how things are done in NY or NJ or wherever they're from, but that doesn't work around here.
