I have been wanting to try this rib shack and finally had the opportunity. I'm so happy that it was super delicious! We loved that the rib meat practically fell off the bone when picking it up. The ribs were tender and had a great flavor, not too Smokey. I ordered it without the house dry "dust" and enjoyed them with tasting all three BBQ sauces that are conveniently left on the tables. The slaw was super fresh and not overpowered by a lot of creamy sauce, just enough for flavor. The baked beans had a great bbq pork flavor and were fresh and hot. We had a great server. She put the house rib dry "dust" on the side and suggested to sprinkle it on the french fries my husband substituted for the beans; great idea!! The atmosphere has a fun nostalgia flare to the Shack style construction. We will definitely return. read more

Visited here for dinner on a drive to Memphis last week. Located right on the side of US 72 W in the middle of Corinth, it was an easy stop for us. Parking was no problem though it was a little later on a Friday, around 7:45 or 8 P.M. We were seated promptly by an exceptionally warm and pleasant employee. The decor is sort of homey and kitschy, with the awards won by the restaurant proudly on display. The menu is fairly large and full of American favorites like burgers, barbeque, onion rings, and so on. This is technically a bbq place but to me the vibe definitely gives off more a standard American diner/restaurant feel, and my hunch was eventually proven right. My parents both got burgers and split an order of fries; I had the fried chicken strips with fried okra and fries (look...I was on a mini vacation!), and my husband dared to try the smoked half chicken with fries and baked beans. I think I enjoyed my food more than my husband and parents -- hunch confirmed. I'd give my dinner a 4 but they felt a good bit more lukewarm. I had one super dry chicken strip but the rest were fairly juicy, lightly breaded, and flavorful. Meals come with garlic bread and it was really solid -- the real deal, super buttery and garlicky. The okra was great texture-wise though the breading could use a bit more salt. I enjoyed my fries but my parents said theirs were way too greasy. In fairness to them, I think they got a different batch than me, because I could see the sheen of oil on their serving. They did both enjoy their burgers. The ranch dipping sauce I got was good. Husband got the worst thing for sure; the chicken was very dry and not super smoky. I kept my I told you so to myself irl but I won't here, lol. The sweet tea was particularly delicious and they kept the refills coming. Service was overall quite nice and the restaurant, particularly the lady's bathroom, was clean. The four of us ate for about $50, which I didn't think was bad at all. Honestly, I'd give my experience a 4/5, especially considering the somewhat limited options in the area, but my fellow diners' experiences seemed a little flatter. Oh well. Stayed for a few days in Corinth, MS & found this little gem the first night! Quite a few people on a Tuesday night (good sign). We grabbed a table and were greeted a few minutes later. We ordered iced tea (sweet) & a coke. The sweet tea was perfect...not too sweet!! Both of us wanted the ribs and we ordered the rib plate for two. We each got our pick of two sides & we both picked fried okra & onion rings. Our order came quickly and the ribs were fall off the bone delicious!!! I love dry rubbed ribs and these were soooo good! Came in around 5:30 on a Tuesday night. Half the restaurant was blocked off but there was plenty of available seating. The restaurant was clean and dirty tables were being cleaned in a timely manner. We order the ribs for two with sides of okra and onion rings. We thought the onion rings and okra were very good. We really liked the ribs but a few were overcooked and dry. Ohhhhhh myyyy goodness! My husband and I were traveling and decided to go through the drive-thru. He got a hamburger which was amazing and french fries that could not have been frozen because they were great. It was hard for him to eat the hamburger and drive at the same time but he ate every bite! I got fried okra which was so very good and cooked just for me. I got the brisket sandwich and while the brisket itself was amazing, there wasn't much of it for a sandwich. The lady at the drive-thru was so friendly-which surprised me since we were there 30 minutes before they closed. We will definitely be stopping there again! read more

Visited here for the first time and I'd definitely go back. Hometown atmosphere. When you walk in, go straight to the ordering counter. The cashier was very friendly. By the time we got our drinks and made to the table, our food was already on it's way. They call your order number, but just raise your hand because they'll bring the food to your table. I had the half smoked chicken with okra and baked beans. It was all very good. The chicken was moist, flavorful and fell off the bone. Okra was crispy. Baked beans were tasty, but their temperature was lukewarm. Just needed to be heated up a little bit. My friend ordered the dry ribs... the only way the ribs come here. She added the bbq sauce and said they were good. Looked like the meat also fell off the bone. I'd highly recommend coming here. read more

I am a teacher in town. I placed a to go order on my lunch break and forgot my wallet. I had my work badge on which I showed them. I had my drivers license to show them. I had the last 4 of my debit card on apple pay... I promised to call them with my debit card number as soon as I got back to school (5 mins away but not enough time to double back) and nope they sent this teacher away at lunch time with no food... Traveling through town felt the need for some BBQ. If you ever read my reviews, you know I'm always on the lookout for great BBQ. I consider myself a BBQ enthusiast. I'm also a KCBS certified BBQ Judge, amateur cook. I checked Yelp, on the reviews were fantastic, so I was ready. I ordered brisket, ribs (seriously, it's a rib shack) & a pork sandwich (to go). When I asked for brisket, I requested the point or the fatty portion. The waitress said the brisket was already sliced. I thought, oh boy, that's a bad sign. Well, it was a sign of what was to come. The brisket was tender but tasteless. It looked liked it had been under a heat lamp. I ended up leaving most of it. The ribs were overcooked. They also seemed like they had been under a heat lamp too long. However, they weren't rubbery. The taste was actually ok. The okra is the standard store-bought orka. The pork sandwich I had the following day was also fine. No complaints, but it was also a day old, so I'm not going to knock it in any way. The waitress did a great job. I didn't catch her name, but she did a great a job. All in all, it was ok. The food did not reflect the reviews I read. Again, it was ok but lacking. read more

Saw this place had good reviews so I figured I'd give it a try. In a big barn type setting, looks fairly new. Service was ok, food was excellent. I've eaten barbecue all over the US and this was one of the best I've ever had. I always get brisket and whatever else and usually the brisket is dry. This was the most tender juicy brisket I've ever had. I've been to award winning places and the brisket is like a baseball glove but not here. Tried all 3 sauces and the spicy one was my favorite. Sweet was just ok and original was good. Had the ribs and they were tender and yummy. Came with crinkle cut fries, seemed like frozen and just ok. Beans were delicious! I always get the beans as well and these were better than most. Service a little slow and sparse. If the manager or owner didn't come by I would not have gotten a drink refill and I had to ask for the check after waiting a while. Food was so good I came next day for lunch and had the brisket plate! Came with what seemed like hand cut fries, much better than the fries from the night before. Order brisket sandwich and it came on small bun. I ordered potato salad and it came in a small container like you would get sauce in. My husband order pulled pork plate with beans and cold slaw. Slaw and beans came in the same small container as my potato salad did. The slaw was so watery it looked disgusting. He had to pour a lot of sauce on the pork because it was dry. To me the amounts of sides in the small containers and food not worth the over $35 we paid. Seems that they had one waitress. read more

I would've given this a five star rating before, but now I'm not so sure they deserve one. I really enjoy the food here but the fries this time were soggy, greasy, and flavorless. I do not enjoy ordering through the drive through. The staff was so rude and made me feel rushed by saying "anything else" after each item I ordered. I also got halfway down the road and then I realized they also left out our ribs and had to go back inside. They were laying on the counter and they handed them to me without a word. Please teach these younger people good customer service skills. Not to mention the food was expensive! I don't think that I will be back anytime soon. read more

Came in from out of town to work and decided to try this place out. First off the building is really cool and extremely clean. The waitresses were very nice and the service was extremely fast. Also, its not too often that you see a legit BBQ place with a drive thru. On to my review though. I got the jumbo pulled pork sandwich meal. First off, you can't beat a huge pulled pork sandwich, side, and sweet tea for under $8...especially for how good it was. The pork was smoked perfectly and was tender and juicy. I could taste the smoky deliciousness in every bite. I tasted all of their homemade BBQ sauces and preferred the spicy one over the original and sweet, but all were good. I also got the sausage and cheese plate as an appetizer which was delicious as well. I'd highly recommend that as an appetizer. Comes with some really good smoked sausage, cheddar cheese cubes, pickles, and pepperoncini peppers sprinkled with spices and drizzled with BBQ sauce. This is why I always say that restaurants should put their name on their carry out boxes. Especially pizza boxes. If they don't have their name on it, people will not know where it came from. My mom wound up in Corinth and picked up some ribs. She stopped by my house on her way home so she could see her grand baby. I got home from work later and they told me there were ribs in the kitchen. My mom has brought grocery store ribs over before so I didn't realize that this time they might be good ribs, so I didn't eat right away. By the time I ate, they had been sitting out either in the car or on the counter for about 8 hours on a 70* day. It didn't take me long to figure out how good these ribs were! They had flavor, seasoning, smoke, and a little bit of tenderness. They were damn good. Now I can't say they're the best, because they'd been sitting out all day, but I'll bet if I ate them fresh at the restaurant, I'd really be impressed. I looked at the takeout box, and sure enough, their name was on it. Good move Rib Shack! They sent some mild sauce which I mixed with teriyaki hot sauce. I also found some Caribbean Jerk marinade in the fridge, and I mixed some of that with teriyaki hot sauce. I put each sauce on a few ribs, heated them in the oven, and had two different flavors. It was freaking amazing! The beans were really great too. Lots of meat in them. The cole slaw was just average but not bad. I probably shouldn't have eaten mayonnaise cole slaw that sat out all day, but I'm ok. As many times as I've driven through Corinth, I've never stopped in. Now I'll have to find a reason to get there. It was that good! read more

Passing by on our way through back to St. Louis the service was friendly and fast. It has good prices for lunch you can get a meal for less than 10.00 bucks. It is clean and attractive on the inside with tables and booths. I recommend you give them a try. They even have a drive thru too. read more
