He said, they have the best fried shrimp. So, I went, ordered it and was very happy with the food and service. The meal came with a side salad, plate of fried shrimp and a choice of sides. Places like this are hard to find anymore that have so much character and history. I am so glad I went there.

We decided before we even came here we were on the hunt for steaks. Both got medium rare 12oz ribeyes the price was too good to pass up. They were both cooked to perfection and were delicious. We had gone to mexican the day before and we spent 20$ less here and we both got steaks! We will definitely be back our server was by herself but you could not even tell. She did such an amazing job. The fish was good, the sides were barely edible. The Cole slaw was so dry it couldn't be fixed. The green beans, baked beans, and corn on the cob needed tons of seasoning to even be halfway decent. The Mac and cheese had to be thrown away because we couldn't stomach it. I guess all the good reviews were either by people who don't season their food, or y'all caught them on a good day. Huge waste of money for food we can't even eat. I'm local and love supporting local businesses but this is NOT the best food the Delta has to offer by any means.

About a year ago I was driving on I55 and searching for steakhouses and the Enid Depot popped up in…read morethe search area. I have been wanting to try it ever since. The restaurant appears to be in an old time country store despite the depot name. The kind of store that has long ago disappeared. Upon walking in, our party of six was greeted, seated and immediately we felt appreciate for our patronage. We ordered onion rings and grilled oysters... the onion rings were huge and heavily battered and if you like them that way.... then get them. I prefer thinly sliced and lighter batter. Rings were served with what looked like comeback sauce but oddly had no flavor to the sauce . The oysters were different, not bad but we all agreed we would try something different next time... I think we were expecting the normal garlic/butter/parmesan cheese preparation. Half of us upgraded our salad to the spinach bacon salad. It was total worth it and delicious! Three in the party for prime rib and thought it was the best they had. The servings were generous. Two of us had filets...they were very good! I had the redfish which was also good and very rich! We shared a crème brûlée for the table as we were all so full...the sugar was a bit over torched but the brûlée under it was excellent! Over all the food was fantastic but what really set the evening over the top was the live entertainment! Needless to say we will be back. If you are with in driving distance or passing through, then this place is worth going out of the way for!

I'd eaten here once before and it was excellent. Unfortunately I pulled into an empty parking lot at 5:30 pm. Both Yelp and Mapquest confirmed that the restaurant should have been open, but there wasn't a soul in sight. I tried calling the phone number but it appears to either be disconnected or listed wrong all over the internet (I tried it from several different pages). It's a shame that this place has either went out of business -- or as another reviewer mentioned -- won't keep steady business hours. Worse yet is them saying they're open for business and not being so, especially when traveling in from a long distance.
