Ham and cheese omelette with grits

Great little spot with local legends wandering through. Music, food, nice folks. We were there on a bitterly cold day, so hardly any people were out and about. The waitress kept the hot coffee coming. The ham and cheese is big chunks of ham in the omelette with plenty of cheese is and on it. The grits are truly worthy. Biscuit wasn't quite the best, but I was pretty full! Cool crowd of folks. A definite is you are into music. Also, the hot sauce is beastly! Great stuff on the way to the bathroom.

Had to stop by because this place is a tourist icon. We got there as it opened so there were lots of seats. We tried a booth, but it was not a comfortable seat, so we moved to a table. Watermelon Slim was performing. Was cool to have a show at breakfast. I ordered coffee and I asked for lots of cream. I got 2. The coffee was too bitter for me. I really had a tough time trying to drink it. Our meals were fine, the service was good. She refilled my cup and brought one cream. Darn. Never did drink any more. The coffee was strong and bitter for my taste.

Heck of an omlet with blues for breakfast!

Good spot for Sunday morning breakfast/brunch with blues music after a late Saturday night out at Ground Zero. The owner and his sidekick are entertaining characters. The omelet was stuffed and delicious. The musician started playing around 9:30am. Was kindof surprised they had live music at that time but it was cool. Overall a good capstone to a weekend of blues in Clarksdale, MS. If you are planning a trip to Clarksdale, be sure you stay at the Shack Up Inn... once in a lifetime / super unique place. All the sites in Clarksdale are just a few minutes away, including this one.

Here in Clarksdale to listen to live Blues and were hungry. Unfortunately, Bluesberry was about to close but we were lucky enough to bump into Watermelon Slim, exceptional Blues Musician and we chatted with him and will be seeing perform at Reds later tonight. Will definitely be coming back to try their food and to listen to live music!

Art and Carol are awesome!! Weekend Breakfast is hearty and fresh made. Monday night dinner is scratch made pasta and so yummy plus you get live music! Bluesberry has alot of history and great musicians to entertain you! Be patient with the wait for food because it's worth it. Cash only so hit up the ATM beforehand.

Terrific place for Sunday blues breakfast! Good omelets, even better French toast, and great blues.

Of course, their music was what attracted many people over from all over the world, but I can…read morehonestly say that out of the food that I have had, I thoroughly enjoyed it all in terms of taste. It was economical, too, so we had quality food while spending a reasonable amount of money. I had the catfish BLT, which was a simple catfish burger with the most basic ingredients. Yet the catfish itself was so tasty that I didn't even need ketchup or mayo for the burger. It was so seasoned that it definitely made the burger an enjoyable experience. My partner had the kingfish platter which was essentially catfish as well. But then there was a small cup of coleslaw that we both thought was the best we've had, mainly because they didn't use mayo but some kind of vinegar to supplement the taste. And then my partner had the deep fried pecan pie and I had a taste of it. Even though I am not even the biggest fan of pecan pie, I really enjoyed that one and I think it was because the deep fried aspect along with whipped cream complemented the gelatinous material in pecan pies (don't know how to call it). There was music 365 days a week in the club, and particularly we were there during the annual Sunflower River Blues & Gospel Festival, so it was extra special. There were visitors all over the world attending the festival and many great bands played in the club. The amount of mess on the walls in the club speaks to the historically and culturally rich aspect of this club and of this town. Definitely a 5 star experience.

Best catfish I ever ate! Great place for blues music too. Staff here are wonderfulread more
