Man I was honestly really excited to try this place. I'm from out of town and my hotel is really close, and when I see gulf shrimp on a menu in a Mississippi town, I'm thinking how can I go wrong? I know what I want to order and it's the shrimp and grits, because I saw this photo that someone posted on yelp when they had it. So I order the chicken pot stickers as my app and the s and g as my main. The service was good! But this is a food review not a service review. I get the potstickers and instantly I can tell they are store bought from the freezer aisle because I've bought the same ones at Sam's Then the main arrives. Remember this is a $24 plate. The dish looks nothing like it does in the picture nor is it like it's described on the menu. The dish in this photo looks like it was freshly made to order and full of flavor. My dish showed up on a small/medium sized boat shaped bowl with 4-5 shrimp on top with the shells attached. Never in my life have I seen it served this way. So then I notice the grits have zero onions, bacon and peppers like the menu says, and I couldn't taste any garlic. The shrimp were not gulf shrimp nor were they cooked with the dish. They were definitely store bought shrimp. The kind that you get on the shrimp tray with the cocktail sauce, and they weren't hot all of the way through. They were lukewarm. The bread it was served with was definitely that boxed garlic bread you can pickup at any grocery store. Did I eat it? Yes because I was hungry after driving 3 hours trying to get to my next destination. Would I recommend it? Only if they made a commitment to switching the dish back to what it was originally. Food aside, the place has a great feel to it and I like the outdoor seating.

Catfish platter. onion rings and kids cheeseburger and fries.

This is one of mine and my husband favorite spots to go have supper. Food is always on point. Drinks too, the service is also excellent, love all of the staff. And the atmosphere is great too.

Pleasant surprise! The food was excellent. Best fried rice I've ever had. The night I visited was Asian Night. According to my waitress the specials change nightly and the special menu varies from week to week. Items on the regular menu looked great too. I saw several plates coming out to other tables and it all looked good. Will definitely come back next time I'm in town.

Freshly baked pita bread! It was absolutely wonderful.

This place was amazing! I can not even begin to give this restaurant a review that can appropriately articulate how wonderful everything tasted! We all walked away saying it was one of the best meals we had ever had. Service was great as well. Overall wonderful experience.

Be ready for some incredible ambience and great food. The flooring is authentic, the service is authentic, and a great selection of beers to enjoy. Loved the pimento rice balls as well as the succotash, mind you not a traditional succotash, much much better! Wonderful service from centrific people and clearly a well-loved restaurant in this area. Too bad we were traveling otherwise I would have scarfed up some homemade bread and stuffed my face for days on.

Great new edition to Clarksdale! Open for lunch and dinner! Every time I've eaten here, there is not a morsel left on my plate! They've also started opening on Saturday and Sundays for brunch!! Awesome spot to buy prime meats and seafood! Friendly place too! Casual atmosphere. Close to Delta Blues Museum. Full bar.

Of course, their music was what attracted many people over from all over the world, but I can…read morehonestly say that out of the food that I have had, I thoroughly enjoyed it all in terms of taste. It was economical, too, so we had quality food while spending a reasonable amount of money. I had the catfish BLT, which was a simple catfish burger with the most basic ingredients. Yet the catfish itself was so tasty that I didn't even need ketchup or mayo for the burger. It was so seasoned that it definitely made the burger an enjoyable experience. My partner had the kingfish platter which was essentially catfish as well. But then there was a small cup of coleslaw that we both thought was the best we've had, mainly because they didn't use mayo but some kind of vinegar to supplement the taste. And then my partner had the deep fried pecan pie and I had a taste of it. Even though I am not even the biggest fan of pecan pie, I really enjoyed that one and I think it was because the deep fried aspect along with whipped cream complemented the gelatinous material in pecan pies (don't know how to call it). There was music 365 days a week in the club, and particularly we were there during the annual Sunflower River Blues & Gospel Festival, so it was extra special. There were visitors all over the world attending the festival and many great bands played in the club. The amount of mess on the walls in the club speaks to the historically and culturally rich aspect of this club and of this town. Definitely a 5 star experience.

Best catfish I ever ate! Great place for blues music too. Staff here are wonderfulread more
