Not worth driving over 45 miles to eat at Friday night buffet that is way over priced for what is offered $28.99 no drink included is a bit much for catfish and boiled shrimp the gumbo was scorched and the boiled shrimp was way to salty. 20% gratitude for 6 people is a bit much for a buffet i could see if we ordered off a menu a $46.00 tip is way to much for a server to get for doing nothing but bring 5 drinks and a ticket my mistake she did check back only to ask for the extra dishes no refills no how was everything but she was told no one enjoyed the buffet . Next time we will drive on down the road to the Chinese restaurant behind Capt D's they have the same on their buffet for i think $14.99 and a better verity. Just found a champion restaurant here in Cleveland, MS. It took me awhile but this is my Champys. At least half of it anyway. I have been here several times and I am now ready to write a review. This is a all you can eat restaurant for the most part because of the buffet. So, their is no wait time. Their salad bar is located in a wagon type display. See pictures I took. The customer service here is excellent. I mean it has been top notch every time I have been here. My family loves coming here too. As soon as they seat you, they take your drink order and bring them to you while you are at the buffet. Their prices are fair too. My favorite days to come is on Tuesdays and Fridays for their lunch buffet because they have catfish. It's only $12 for lunch and that includes your drink too. Now how cool is that. Another favorite day to come is on Sunday's for lunch. Locals like to come here after church and the restaurant runs a special where the price is only $10 and that includes your drink too. Now, how cool is that. If you come on Sunday's I recommend getting here before noon or come here at 1pm. Otherwise, there will be a long wait. They usually have southern fried chicken on Sundays. I usually find parking to the left of the consignment shop or in front of it along the ditch. This is a popular place so parking in their parking lot might be full. Do not park out alongside the highway. Some other food items you might find on their buffet are: fried Okra, spaghetti, BBQ ribs, meatloaf, pork chops, green bean casserole, mac and cheese, hamburger steak, corn, peas, cabbage, and etc. Now, their buffet items change so you will see some of these on their buffet but not all. In summary, I can't believe I have been living here for over 7 months and have just found this great restaurant. They have excellent service, delicious food, and everyone is friendly. Remember, it's a buffet, so it's self serve except for the drinks but your waitress will take care of you on refills after your seated. read more

This is definitely the best restaurant in Cleveland. It has a country setting to it and atmosphere. It's in a Cabin/ log home and can't be in a better building. There's plenty of parking outside and is located between Cleveland and Boyle. It's just pass the John Deere dealership. Anyway, their food is definitely delicious. You can't go wrong coming here because all the food is good. We prefer their Catfish of course. We usually call in an order on Tuesdays or Fridays which is catfish day. It's only $12 and comes with 2 sides, a dessert, hush puppies and a sweet tea. April usually answers the phone. She's great on customer service. However, if she doesn't, you will receive great customer service from everyone from here. They have good - good cooks here too. read more

I dont know, maybe we went on an off day, but I just really was not impressed. The salad bar looked good and it wasn't bad. It just wasn't bad it just wasn't as good as I was, hoping it would be. However, my mom quite enjoyed all of her food. Maybe my tastebuds were off that day. I don't feel like that could be that off though. The service was good. All the girls were nice and helpful. My favorite restaurant in Cleveland. They serve my favorite dish which is catfish. Such a friendly restaurant. The staff are always helpful. They are always willing to go out of their way to take care of their customers. My waitress kept my drink full of sweet tea at all times. She even went to the back and brought me peach cobbler. Their catfish comes fried which is how I like it. Oh, and their coleslaw that comes with the catfish plate is delicious. The French fries are good too. Currently, they have have been serving their catfish plates via the food truck out front during special times as noted on Facebook. read more

Funny thing is I did not try the catfish at Catfish Cabin. Their Sunday buffet for $10 flat did not have catfish, but a variety of other Southern offerings such as hush puppies, greens, mac and cheese, yams, fried balls of salmon, fried and baked chicken, and seasoned boiled cabbage. The salad bar is a fresh addition to the selection. The atmosphere is homey and family friendly. This establishment has been around for many years and you could tell with the decorations full of Delta pride and history. The servers were friendly and checked in with us often. I have eaten at this place for over ten years and it used to be really good with really good service. I'm not sure what happened but now every time you go the waitresses are slow, unkempt, and unfriendly. I visited catfish cabin in Boyle 7-22-17 & I didn't like it much...1st of when I went in the waitress took me past many tables & people To a place in the back, where it seem that I had to go through the kitchen to get to the food.. As many people that was in there, from where I was seated I could see table with a couple & they were the only ones who could see me. SO in my opinion, if you're Black......Go elsewhere. I have lived in the MS Delta for over twelve years now. This place has been a regular eating spot for me. The food is delicious. It's always hot and there is always plenty. My only gripe is that the dining area isn't large enough so it can be difficult to get on all you can eat seafood nights. The fried and grilled catfish are excellent. They have weird hours, so call first to make sure they are open. The catfish is only at dinner.
