Every time I have dined at this restaurant, it's always been good. I recommend it for anyone's dining pleasure.

Went here with some friends and the food was subpar. Hubs and I ordered a steak & hamburger. My steak was very tender however it lacked seasoning. Husband's hamburger was a premade patty that had to be sent back due to wrong condiments. I've eaten their lunch plates and they're always delicious. I'll stick to that in the future. read more

I've been eating at Cicero's for years. Although I'm no longer living in the area, I visit with relatives whenever I'm in the area. The philly steak sandwiches use to be amazing, but I've been disappointed on my last couple of tries. On this visit, I decided to switch things up and try the fried catfish. I requested 2 pieces fried crispy because they provide rather large pieces of fish. The fish was fried to my liking but could have used a tad more seasoning. I typically like more salt, but the other guest thought it was perfect. It normally comes with a side salad and a side, but I requested 2 orders of coleslaw instead. It was really good! We were also offered hot, fresh bread which was a nice surprise. The hot tamales had good flavor, but I would have liked more meat on the inside. There was just too much breading. As for the restaurant itself, the side room is newly remodeled compared to the main dining area. There are really cool wall hangings on the walls that will definitely keep the conversation flowing. read more

The hamburger steak is the best in town! Add mushrooms, onions and brown gravy plus a baked potato for an over the top meal!!

Thanks for staying open for us last night. The food was delicious. Pork chops were so tender and the ribeye was perfect.

Keep hearing great things and went to try it out. We shared the "cat and cow" plate. Salad was ok, the steak was cooked perfectly and delicious, catfish was good flavor and flakey, roll was big and good. Nice atmosphere and staff. While there I overheard the table behind us had a small issue with something and the staff were quick to correct the issue for them. Would definitely recommend for a nice supper experience. They promoted a lunch menu also, might have to come back to try it when we can. read more

I came for seafood, and the stuffed catfish did not disappoint! The fish was well-seasoned with a rich crabmeat stuffing. Honestly, the best catfish dish I've had in a while. The side salad was really the only let down, as it consisted of bagged lettuce and a raspberry vinaigrette that might as well have been red kool-aid. The service was fair, and there were plenty of staff on hand. They could probably swing for some new plastic cups; ours seemed pretty worn out. They do have a few beer options and welcome BYO-Wine (wine glasses provided and no cork fee). Overall, the seafood alone is worth a visit. I'm likely to return again next time I pass through. read more

Ate here a bunch of times on business trips to the Delta and enjoyed both the food and the "local joint" feel. One of my favorites is the "Catfish Cicero", which is catfish with parmesan cheese and pecans. Steaks also good with bourbon pecan pie for dessert. Cicero's is quiet, relaxed and comfortable, and I like the edge-of-town location. read more

Good daily plate lunch. Can get very busy around noon so get here early. You gotta try the fried hot tamales or regular tamales. Best fried catfish in the Delta. Dinner menu offers a good selection with steaks being the best choice. read more

I stopped in for dinner by myself while traveling through the area. The staff was extremely friendly and accommodating. I sat in the bar area which seemed to have a decent selection of quality brews (noticed a few different New Belgium brews on tap) but drank a delicious sweet tea. I ordered the Ribeye steak and it was fantastic. I was also able to get sweet potato fries with it at no additional charge (pretty sure it wasn't listed on the menu). They were very military friendly, as well, "negotiating" a military discount. The food and people were great; it was Southern Hospitality at it's finest!! read more

Took a group of subcontractors to this place on a recent jobsite visit. They use pecan wood for their homemade bbq. It was awesome. I have been here a few times over the last 3 yrs and always very happy and full walking out. Great prices, great sweet tea, and awesome food. read more

We went to this establishment in November and was part of a party of 25 people or so on a Saturday night and prime time hours for a restaurant. Service was much better than I would expected in this situation. The menu had a good selection, even for the most picky eaters. I had the fried oysters, they were a bit on the small side, but they did have a good taste. My husband ordered the large steak, lucky for me. He gave me a portion of his and I have to say it was the best ribeye steak I had ever tasted, and I have eaten in some upscale steak restaurants. It was also not al la carte, so you got two sides with your steak dinner. Back to the steak, it was so tender , you could cut it with a butter knife and the taste was amazing.
