We contacted Mack to fix our washer, which was leaking and making a loud rattling sound. He came by…read moreand claimed the pump was out, so we paid $90, plus his too-high service fee, and waited on the pump. He replaced it, ran a short rinse cycle and declared that it was fixed. After he left, I sent a video showing that it was still loud and rattling around. He came by again, this time claiming the shocks were bad--so we had to pay for four shocks, and wait for them to come in. After installing them, he ran a short rinse cycle again, and said it was fixed. By this time it was a joke--it was still rattling the exact same way and was leaking exactly the same again. It took a while to get him to come back because by now he kept saying he was sick. This time it was "oh--the drum has a hole in it and you need a new washer." What he should have done was conduct a THOROUGH analysis the FIRST time. For all of our trouble, he offered to refund most of the service fee, saying he "hates to lose money on a job." Well, WE are the ones who lost lots of money, not him. But, he never provided the check he promised. We tried a couple of times to get him to leave it, but he didn't do it. No integrity, and not enough skills and expertise to properly diagnose a problem. We've been without a washer for weeks, lost almost $400 and also have to pay $800+ for one that fits into the existing space.

We had damper issues with our unit, and I already had a new damper on hand. The technician came…read moreout, confirmed he also believed the damper was the problem, and said he could replace it. After installing it, he came downstairs to tell me everything was working and that he just needed to adjust some wires. About ten minutes later, I could tell something wasn't right. Sure enough, he came back down and said, "Well, the damper blew when I adjusted the wires." He stumbled through an explanation and then said that he and his manager now believed the issue was actually the zone board, and that he would need to get a quote for that. Then he added, "By the way, can I take this damper with me?"--the same damper I paid for--because they "haven't really dealt with these types of systems before" and needed to do some research. Later that day, I received an invoice for $240: * $125 service fee * $90 labor fee This was for a visit where the technician damaged the part I purchased, fixed nothing, and took my damper with him. The next day, I received a quote for the supposed new issue--$680: * $45 return service fee * $383 for a zone board * $210 for another damper So not only were they planning to charge me to come back out to fix something they clearly didn't understand, they were also charging me for a new damper to replace the one they destroyed. I called and spoke with the manager to express my dissatisfaction and requested a refund for the $90 labor charge, considering the technician accomplished nothing and actually made the problem worse. The manager refused. Here's the kicker: I had Odyssey come out afterward. They tested everything thoroughly and confirmed the zone board is completely fine. They replaced the damper, and the system is now working perfectly. They charged me $300 total for the part, service fee, and labor. Fulford Heating and Air was an absolutely terrible experience. They clearly only care about the dollar rather than quality service and their customers. I would never recommend them to anyone.

I called Fulford Heating and cooling, and they sent someone out within two hours. Mason arrived and immediately went to work. He checked and tested everything thoroughly. He was able to diagnose that the fan motor in the air handler was bad. He had the part on the truck, and was able to get me up and going very quickly. He was very knowledgeable, wasn't in a big hurry, answered all my questions thoroughly, and took time to explain things. He also tested everything thoroughly before he left. Mason was such a blessing, and is a vital asset to your company. My unit is operating so much more efficiently now, and is able to maintain the set temperature on my thermostat. This was my first experience with Fulford Heating and cooling and overall I was very pleased.
