After being plugged in for 3 days, it never got cold and we were able to get it replaced by Whirlpool. After 6 months, our food began to thaw so I opened another support case. The Island Appliance Repair tech took it apart and determined that the entire refrigeration system needed to be replaced. While they were ordering the parts, I contacted Whirlpool again and they refused to replace the refrigerator because it was not a 'recurring issue'. While I have been battling with Whirlpool's "support" (which appears to be outsourced because I always have to tell them the brand of my refrigerator), Island Appliance Repair has been consistently proactive and extremely helpful.
