After spending 10 years in formal pastoral ministry in a traditional church setting, Brett Armstrong began to grow discontent with the way things were and starting looking to redefine the fulfillment of his role as a pastor. This is why he started a gym that goes beyond the workouts. He says, "I want to see lives transformed, but transformation goes deeper than church attendance on Sunday but also stretches further than pounds or inches." Today, he's passionate about helping people live lives that are spiritually, emotionally, relationally, financially, mentally, and physically whole.
History
Established in 2016.
CrossFit RWOL has a focused mission that shapes the entire community in which it revolves. That mission is "Restoring Wholeness of Life - one breath, one step, one day at a time." This will encompass all facets of life starting with the physical, and then moving through the emotional, mental, financial, relational, and, finally, the spiritual. CrossFit RWOL believes that a person can experience life as it was intended by addressing all of these areas & thinking differently about one's existence.
