This gym DOES have child care, and it is phenomenal. They are patient with the children and have tons of activities to keep their interests. They actually invest in their child care facility, unlike many other gyms. Their price point is fair, and childcare is an add-on. This gym has the most amount of amenities I've seen of any gym. Pool Sauna Steam room Hot tub Basketball Court Racquet Ball Court A fitness Cinema area, and yes, that is an actual cinema. Massage chairs, tanning beds, and they offer trainers and classes. Their equipment is nice. They have some equipment that I've only seen in LA Fitnessand PlanetFitness. Such as the Precore ab bench, the Chin/Dip assist, and back extension. The staff is actually friendly. Not like they're being paid to, but they're genuinely sweet people. That's a rarity. It's easy to see why it's packed all the time. It's a phenomenal gym!!!

I noticed one of my friends in San Antonio going to f45 through his posts on social media for the past two years and became intrigued, so I was happy when one of my best friends told me this past summer that f45 is opening in NW OKC!! My friend and I attended a couple of outdoor events in August and September promoting the new gym, and I was HOOKED!! I like that this team training gym already does the workout planning ahead for you with experienced trainers, and only 45 minutes long. Being a busy mom in grad school, this is probably all the time I can dedicate each day, but I still feel an amazing burn! Location: There is plenty of parking spaces, but when pulling out of your parking spot be careful, because it is a very busy area. Definitely pay attention to your surroundings! Trainers: I cannot say enough about how amazing the trainers are! Every one of them are extremely friendly. The owner, Charlie is from Dallas and was at the gym for the first week or so to welcome new members/people trying out the gym. Daniel, Brooke, Hayley, Ashley B., Ashley E. and Kara are so super friendly, welcoming, and motivating. I believe another trainer will be joining soon, Gerard. The workouts can get tough, but the trainer leading each session will help you if you find trouble with a workout or need an extra boost of encouragement. Workouts: This is team-based, circuit training style workout. Each workout is 45 minutes long, and you will leave the gym sweating and wake up the next morning a good sore! The gym is separated into different "Pods" and you will for example do 45 seconds of an exercise (e.g. barbell deadlifts), 20 seconds of rest, and then either move to the next exercise or repeat the same exercise. Every day varies on how the circuits are arranged and there are so many new and different types of workouts so your body gets a good range and variety or movements. Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays are cardio days, while Tuesdays and Thursdays are resistance/strength training days. Saturdays are 1 hour long and a combination of strength and cardio, while Sundays are resistance and I would say the "easiest" days..but you will nevertheless still get an amazing workout! I signed up for the membership early on so I got a little bit of a discount. Download the MINDBODY or f45 app to sign up for a membership and schedule your classes. You can try the gym for 7 days for free, and then do a $19 two week membership. If you decide to join, I believe the price is only $149 a month. It actually differs depending on which location you choose, but since I joined early...my total cost after taxes is $151 a month! Progress: I have seen SUCH a huge difference since joining only 2 months ago. I am 11 months postpartum and am still trying to lose the mommy belly, but I am slowly getting there and f45 is helping a TON. Join f45, you will NOT be disappointed!

I downloaded the MINDBODY app, and signed up for the Panthers class with Khairi. We got to the studio 15mins early to get ready for class. There is a little cubby area to the right when you enter to put your water bottle and towel as well as your other personal items. The class was already set up for us. The Panthers class or format we did today was resistance based. We did body weight exercises such as push-ups, kettlebells, dumbbells, barbells, and resistance bands. It was a strength training circuit class today. Before class Khairi our coach demonstrated all the workouts. We did 3 sets in each station, and there are screens showing demonstrations at each station so, if you forget a workout, you have a screen to look at with the demo of each exercise per station. Panthers was 45mins from start to finish. I can't review on the other formats they offer during the week, but Panthers I would say is definitely a circuit training class. They are offering a free week so, if you enjoy trying out new workouts definitely give F45 a try! I plan on coming back with my friend to try a different format in a few days! Make sure to bring a water bottle and towel as I don't think they offer anything special besides the workout itself.
