Both of my Daughters LOVE taking the classes. Especially when Danica is teaching. Danica is great at motivating and encouraging the class without coming off as too aggressive for the early morning sessions. The entire gym has a fun family vibe & the staff treat everyone like friends instead of clients. Shout out to the front desk workers for always being so cheerful & welcoming no matter what time of the day! These classes yield results & are great for beginners as well as professionals!

Buyer Beware -- Read the Billing Terms Carefully…read more First, I want to say that SPENGA has an awesome workout. The instructors are great, the staff is friendly, and I genuinely enjoyed going to the gym. Unfortunately, billing transparency is the reason I canceled my membership. When you enroll, they explain that payments are made every 28 days (four weeks). What I don't feel is clearly explained verbally is that a 28-day billing cycle results in 13 payments over a 12-month period, rather than the 12 payments you would have with traditional monthly billing. That means the actual annual cost is higher than what many people may initially perceive when they hear a monthly membership price. Yes, the 28-day billing cycle is stated in the contract, and I acknowledge that I should have read the agreement more carefully. However, I believe this is something that should be clearly explained upfront by the GM whom I was working with, or sales staff so customers fully understand the financial commitment before enrolling. I have worked in sales myself, and I understand that sales are sales. But I also believe transparency is important when you're asking someone to commit to a membership. For me, the issue isn't the workout or the people, I actually really liked both. It's the lack of transparency around the billing structure. In my opinion, that was enough for me to cancel and take my business elsewhere. Aside from no one calling back to explain this and having a staff member, telling me it's part of my contract. Poor customer service. It's not what you say, it's how you say it. If you're considering joining, my advice is simple: ask specifically how often you'll be charged and how many payments you'll make in a full year. If 13 payments instead of 12 doesn't bother you, that's completely fine. But if it matters to you, make sure you understand the billing cycle and total annual cost before signing up. Buyer beware, read the contract, and ask questions.

Since I have the Willpower membership and can go to any location, I suggested the Sugar Land location. She decided to sign up there on her own, and that's when everything started to go wrong. After she signed up, she was offered a "free" personal training session, and we decided to do it together. During that session, we worked with a trainer named Joseph and made it very clear multiple times that we were on a budget and could not commit to anything long-term. He reassured us more than once that we would be able to cancel at any time. He even apologized later and tried to make up for the confusion by offering another "free" session, but by that point the situation had already gone too far. That reassurance is the only reason we agreed. As soon as we realized the cost wasn't manageable, we came back in person to cancel--multiple times. Each time, we were left waiting for long periods with little to no help, while staff stood around and watched. On top of that, no one ever answers the phone, which makes it nearly impossible to get assistance without physically coming in. The way we were treated during this process was honestly shocking. Instead of being helped, we were met with resistance and dismissiveness. The fitness manager, Mac, went as far as implying that we were "scamming" simply because we were trying to cancel--based on what we were clearly told when we signed up. That was extremely unprofessional and uncomfortable. At no point were we trying to take advantage of anything. We were just acting on the information that was given to us upfront. The lack of accountability and communication has made this situation way more stressful than it ever needed to be. I will say the general manager took the time to listen, which I appreciated, but there has been no follow-up since then. Honestly, the most disappointing part of all of this is that my friend was treated so poorly after I was the one who recommended this gym to her. What should have been a positive experience for both of us turned into something stressful and upsetting. After this experience, we will not be returning to this location at all. I will either continue going to EōS Rosenberg, switch to another gym like Amped Fitness, or possibly cancel my membership altogether. This was just a horrible experience overall. If you're considering signing up for personal training here, make sure everything is clearly explained in writing before agreeing to anything. Verbal promises do not seem to match how things are handled later.

They have a 5 minute late window and I was 40 seconds late due to traffic during rush hour. After explaining that they still would not let me in. Then the front desk told me they charge their members a late fee as well.I am a member and I pay 80 dollars a month. This was my first time late ever. I already pay $80 a month, then you deny my entry to a class I pay for a booked already and then wanted to charge a late fee on top of that. Also, after cancellation of my membership the front desk then told me I would still be charge one more time for next month. Their customer service is horrible. Their goal is to not help you improve, but to get every dollar from you possible. The trainers are nice and that's about the only good thing at this place.

I booked 4/3/23 & canceled the same day because I had a last minute business trip pop up. It was well within the timeframe to cancel without penalty. My appointment was supposed to be for 4/4/23 at 6:15 am. I checked my Amex Platinum account this afternoon and saw that they charged me $28. I called to see why I had been billed, and they said because I didn't cancel which was an absolute lie. The person that was working in the evening of April 3 did not do their job. This place needs to do a little bit better at training and customer service. The young lady that I spoke to today so that there's nothing that she could do. Orange Theory is known for this as I have many friends who are or have been members. I would try another location. I will take my business back to the Aliana location.

Once there you scan your guest pass. The welcoming process wasn't that welcoming by the front staff workers. They barely made eye contact or anything. Location for the class was odd being off in the corner from a gym full of kids in a summer camp. Yet once we entered into the cycling studio Dan definitely did bring a more bright and uplifting aura. The music was vibrant and the exercise was nice and challenging. The spin class is every Tuesday at 6:30pm and guest can come every 60 days I think but you can't reserve a spot in the class. You'd have to wait until a spot opens. So that can be a bit nerve wrecking if many come that day. So shoutout to Dan for making the experience amazing!

While I was working out, approximately $10,000 in cash and a Rolex were stolen from my gym bag after I placed it inside a locked locker. Multiple lockers were broken into during the same incident. I immediately reported the theft and filed a police report. What is especially concerning is that theft at this location is not an isolated issue. There have been repeated theft incidents here, yet members continue to have belongings stolen from lockers. The response afterward was just as frustrating. The following day, I attempted to call the club approximately 13 times before finally reaching Membership Concierge Manager. When I asked what Life Time was doing about the situation, I was told that Life Time could not do anything and that the police would have to handle it. During the conversation, I was also told that I should not have kept $10,000 in my bag. Of course law enforcement is responsible for investigating the person or people who committed the theft. My concern with Life Time is different: Why are repeated thefts occurring at this location? What has been done to prevent them? How were multiple locked lockers targeted during the same incident? And what is being done now to protect members? I have escalated this matter directly to Life Time's corporate executive leadership, filed a BBB complaint, filed a police report, and submitted the matter to ABC13's 13 Investigates. Members should be able to make their own decisions about whether they feel comfortable securing their belongings in the lockers at this location. I am sharing my experience so they have the information to do so. I will update this review if and when Life Time corporate leadership responds and takes meaningful action.
