These guys were amazing to work with. We got our siding replaced. Team came out in brutal ice and snow to get the job done. They were quick, efficient, and everyone we spoke with from adjusters to billing were incredibly personable and kind. Prices that we were quoted were the most competitive in our area. Run!!!!! Run very fast!!!!! This company tried to steal money. What I mean by steal is super inflate the price for siding. This company was going to do a siding job until I caught them in the practice of being shady. I bid my job with several other contractors for the same scope of work and all were reasonable and within the same ball park for the job. Note: the other companies were local and highly reputable. This company CrossCom Inc. tried to tell me for 18k I could only get siding for my 1000 sqft of coverage needed. Siding choice vinyl minimum thickness, basic color option. I would have to pay extra for trim, soffit and fascia. This company are known as storm chasers and need a contract signed where you pay them 3000k if you cancel. However whatever the insurance company pays they will only do a quarter of the work and take money for a full complete job for siding or roof and try to charge you the difference. They will attempt to make you believe it is not enough to do the the complete job. In the end they have charged for a complete job and only done a quarter of the work and will charge more for a complete job than what it cost. When asked why they are over charging work they replied they can charge what they want. In simple terms if your dumb enough to pay we will take your money. Not a company I want touching any sqft of my house. Very shady storm chaser process type of company. They will talk bad about your insurance company and use all kinds of inappropriate language. In the end they are everything bad they said about insurance companies. I really hope other home owners do their due diligence when approached by this company. Very snake like and condescending. I dodged a bullet and hope others watch out for this place and steer clear. read more

I heartily agree with those who warn others to avoid this company at all costs. They are storm chasers - I had a nightmare of a year working with them. They scam you, take every cent they can squeeze out of you and your insurance. In return they provide low quality work that drags on for months and months. Bobby is a bully and will curse and yell at you, and try any intimidation technique he can think of to con you. By the end I was not comfortable with him coming to my house. Dan plays the nice guy but in the end, he's not much better. Intimidation tactics to get every cent from you - even money that clearly doesn't belong to them. Steer clear of this company - you will have a much better time managing small contractors yourself and dealing directly with your insurance company. read more

Chris Finley came over to my house when it was wrecked by a storm. I didn't know much about siding, roofing, insurance, or the process in general. Chris was great from the first day my husband and I met him. He was very nice and thoroughly went over all information and assured us our goals would be met. Chris inspected every inch of our siding to ensure all damage is captured for our insurance company to confirm payment. After payment from my insurance was confirmed, my siding was done within 3 weeks. It was fast and looked amazing! Really happy with the job they did and with the customer service provided by Chris. Failed to communicate damage..,We had our roof installed in the fall of 2019. We were happy with the work until a week ago when we noticed our ceiling dripping. My husband and I went into the attic and realized our sewer vent pipe had been broken completely in half, allowing water to seep in for months! We tried to work with crosscom but they refused to to except any responsibility or even call us back. Overall they did a good job on the roof but their contractors failed to communicate the damage they had caused.. If they would have told us, we could have gotten it fixed and avoided the water damage I now have in my ceiling. read more

Brand new roof installed by this company just 3 years ago. Was not installed properly and caused a bad leak in my second floor bathroom. They came to fix it but I never got a call explaining what happened or how we will take care of the interior damages caused by this ($900). When I followed up, they said no problem just have someone fix it and send the invoice and picture of damages. So I did just that. Then they tried to renig on that saying they would not cover it. I had it in writing that they said they would so they said 'ok we will send a check to your contractor'. It has been weeks and no check has been received even though the manager emailed me after I followed up 4 times stating she sent it on Friday November 1. I have since followed up 3 times with no response and now when I call the office she is dodging my calls. DO NOT use this company. Poor quality work and even poorer customer service. read more

Crosscom approached me after some hail damage to my house. My experience with the company has been nothing less than horrific. After I gave them some money, their management was inexistant, almost never returning calls. They took more than 6 months to do a three weeks job. They left one side of my house without siding for more than a week while raining. There are many good companies out there and I have had experiences with many of them. Crosscom is definitely not one that anybody, including my worse ennemies, should use. The only reason I put a star is that some of the contractors they hired were OK. read more

I also had an equally awful experience with Crosscom! They are so unprofessional it's cartoonish!! First of all, after taking our down payment in late September 2013, we were promised that our work would be completed NO LATER THAN DECEMBER 2nd!!! When December 2nd came and went we continuously tried to get in contact with the "Scheduler" to find out when our work would start. A one-day job could surely be put in somewhere. By the beginning of February when Snowmaggedon began, we knew we weren't going to get any work done until spring. After all of the snow had melted in MARCH we had to constantly call to get scheduled. We received a mountain of excuses. Oh! The scheduler's on vacation. Oh! The owner isn't in today! Oh! You're next on the list! Bull!! The only reason we kept on was because we couldn't cancel and get our money back because of a three-day cancellation clause in the contract. We couldn't cancel, but we couldn't get scheduled either! When we finally, FINALLY got scheduled and the work began in early April, everything was moving right along until...Until one of the workers dropped materials through the hole they were repairing in our garage roof and crushed the roof of my car, breaking out the back window!!! Sigh. Okay. This is why you go with a licensed and bonded company, right? WRONG!! We were told, why didn't you move the car? It's really dusty, does it even work? Why can't you use your insurance? Oh, the worker will have to use his insurance. We finally called our insurance adjuster to have him look at it and get an estimate. THEN Crosscom claimed that the figure given was too much or my car! Joe, the salesman claimed he had a guy who could fix it for half of that. And oh, by the way, when are we gonna get our final payment? WHEN ARE YOU GOING TO FIX MY CAR???? In the end, the never did have it fixed, we had to go through our insurance. We subtracted the deductible from the final payment and sent them a certified letter to be signed saying that they agreed to those terms. It was signed and returned. AFTER IT WAS SIGNED AND RETURNED WE RECEIVED A PHONE CALL SAYING GREAT, BUT WHEN ARE YOU SENDING THE OTHER $348? WHAT??? Where the hell did this come from and why wasn't it included in the bill? Oh. That's for the dumpster permit and your deductible. AGAIN, why wasn't this added into the final bill?? Now, this was an honest error, but this was the first we had heard of it. Even after all of the harassing phone calls and text messages from "Joe!" The work done is average at best, and for what we went through to get it done I wish I had researched them more thoroughly. Run! RUN!!! Run from this company and don't give them a dime!!! No matter how together and professional they may seem, THEY ARE NOT!!! I'm just glad it's over! read more

Scam, misleading, dishonest, please be aware!!! After I signed documents that I did not read and soon discovered that I would paid a price for that mistake, I learned that the only interest this company wanted was to gain access to money from my Home Owner's Property Insurance Policy to claim for Hail Damages. Crosscom have a person (that I'm not going to name), who canvass communities going door to door with contracts and all paperwork in hand. He sat on my couch and told me the insurance money would cover the roof, soffit, and gutters, not only did the waiting period took long for them to get started on the work but when I called the main office to check on the status, staff was not friendly and could care less. The contractors finally came to do the work and to my surprise they only replaced the roof (shingles) in which I really did not need to have replaced but agreed to the replacement to seal the whole deal. I called the company up only then I learned no other work would be made and was told that I signed documents/contracts that gave up my right to withhold any money from them that was claimed through the Hail Damage, I was so upset and realized that I was verbally mislead and had to take legal actions. read more
