My hot water heater was leaking, with water soaking part of my wall-to-wall basement carpeting. The plumber who came to my aid (on Christmas Eve) and stopped the leak referred me to ProDry. I didn't expect service on the holidays, but Dan came to my home promptly on Dec. 26. He assessed my situation and concluded that it could be sufficiently addressed by using a couple of those industrial-strength fans on the floor. That was a relief! The carpet is nice and dry now. The entire ProDry team did an amazing job and made the process as smooth as possible. Highly recommend working with them for water damage mitigation and rebuild. We had about 6,000 gallons of water damage from a supply line in the master bathroom, which caused almost the entire house to be rebuilt. The ProDry team worked quickly and also helped us navigate working with insurance. We mainly worked with Dan over the course of 3 months, but everyone we worked with on the ProDry team was very responsive and great to work with. After the initial call, Mike was at our house within 15 minutes and Dan arrived shortly after. They rebuilt the entire kitchen (cabinets, appliances, quartz, back splash), all laminate, all carpeting, all tile, all inside doors, several light fixtures, all trim, about 1/3rd of the drywall, 1/3rd of the insulation in the house, and many other things. Needless to say, this was not a small insurance claim. Dan was our main point of contact even when electricians, plumbers, movers, and various other contractors were engaged, which made it extremely easy for us. Dan was always at the house when insurance, the village, or our mortgage lender came by to do inspections and would address any questions that they had. Dan was great at providing updates on the work being performed and ProDry stayed on the initial rebuild timeline that they provided. We were truly amazed at how quick ProDry was able to coordinate and take the house from disaster to gorgeous. 5 STARS ALL THE WAY! Wow, where do I even start? I have so many good things to say about this company! Basically, insurance made my life a living heck for the past 2 weeks and will continue to for at least the next week. Luckily, I have Mike, the owner of ProDry to help me every step of the way! My rental property flooded with sewage water and I called 4-5 companies to try to get someone out there immediately. Either the companies said no one was available with that short notice or they never called me back. Galina, however, answered my call and sent Mike over within the next hour! I am out of state so I was not able to see the water damage to my house. Mike kindly Facetimed me and showed me all of the damage in the house which was super helpful! He also took pictures of all of the damage and sent them to me so I had them for reference. He then told me exactly what needed to be done (step by step) and made sure that everything he did would be covered by my insurance so that I did not have to pay anything out of pocket. Mike started and completed the demolition and sanitizing the very next day! I was impressed that he did so much work all in half a day! And ALL BY HIMSELF! I thought he had a whole team help him but then I found out he did all by himself! VERY impressive! The house had to dry for the next few days. Mike stopped by the house everyday to check on the status of the house and he would text me every time to tell me the progress. On the day that Mike removed all of the drying equipment and cleaned the house, he Facetimed me again to make sure I was able to see that everything had been demolished, sanitized, and cleaned up. He then invoiced insurance and his job SHOULD HAVE been done. However, instead of wiping his hands clean and moving on to his next job, even 3 days after he finished the job, he is still contacting me to make sure my insurance company doesn't completely screw me over. When I received a ridiculous estimate from insurance for my repairs, Mike generously sat down with my estimate and Facetimed with me for 1.5 hours to discover that the insurance company left out a few thousand dollars worth of repairs on the estimate. Even after that talk, Mike has been following up with me everyday, multiple times a day to help me with my insurance issues that keep popping up. He has just been a godsend to me! Mike has really changed my perspective on hiring big name companies. From now on, I will strive to support local businesses like his because local businesses treat you how they want to be treated. You know what my insurance agent told me yesterday? It's been 2 weeks since my house flooded and the repairs haven't even started yet and my insurance adjuster said "There's nothing special about you or your case. You and your case are just like everyone else's, and we will get to you when we can. You have to be patient." On the other end of the spectrum, Mike is there for me every step of the way- and he's not even getting paid to help me with this! He keeps telling me he wants to make sure I don't get taken advantage of by insurance and he just wants to see a happy ending for me. Furthermore, I have contacted my claims specialist like 20 times in the past 2 weeks and she has only responded 1.5 times (the 0.5 was because I caught her off guard). With Mike, he responds literally as soon as I hit the send or call button. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND MIKE. HIRE HIM FOR ALL OF YOUR WATER DAMAGE & CLEANING NEEDS. What a great company! Our house got flooded in October, we had several companies looking at the damage. First 2 companies i called were booked till the end of November and December, which is ridiculous if you are dealing with water damage. Another company tried to get me to sign the contract without even looking at the issues. Prodry guys came the same day we called. They were very honest, informative and helpful. They didn't try to scare us, but instead were very supportive. They gave us a good quote right away and started the job the same night. It was easy to deal with them. Galina would respond every call and tried to accommodate our schedule. Mike and Peter did great job drying our house, and working with our insurance. When our house got flooded again, Prodry was the first company we called. When Mike came to look at the damage and saw that we already started drying everything ourselves (learnt from them), said that we can finish drying without them. He gave me a lot of advice, showed where to put the dryers and said that he would come back to check on moisture levels in couple days, told me to text or call him if i have any questions. We came home after being out all day to a burst pipe in our ceiling that had dropped our living room ceiling onto the floor and left 2" of water everywhere. Let's just say I am glad I called them - Mike from DryPro came that very morning to start the cleaning. Mike also went above and beyond his call of duty by sticking around to help me with the insurance claim - when it was denied, Mike worked with me to come up with a reasonable fee. Our washer hose failed and flooded the basement laundry room, ruining the drywall, flooring and cabinets. Mike arrived within an hour of me calling and took care of everything. I went to my basement and noticed that I had a wet carpet due to a window leaking. Called Prodry and they came out within an hour. I called them to clean one of my shaggy rugs. Our cat ended up with an upset stomach and it didn't end well for our rug. The rug is in our living room and needed to get cleaned fast. I cleaned as best I could, but due to it being shaggy, I just couldn't get it all out. I called them in the evening and they arrived promptly first thing in the morning. ProDry was recommended to me after a pipe burst in my kitchen. I couldn't be more pleased with their work and have used them several times since. Mike is extremely thorough and has the homeowner's best interest at heart. He took the time to explain to me where the water damage was, showed and explained the readings on his moisture meter, and documented progress throughout the course of the dry out. He made sure I knew what they were doing and why they needed to do it. Best of all, he even dealt with the insurance company, meeting the adjustor at my property when I wasn't able to be there. After everything was dry I hired ProDry again to handle repairs. Daniel did a great job on replacing my kitchen tile, it's impossible to tell what was original and what he had replaced; it blends seamlessly. The drywall work is very professional and they matched the trim perfectly. After the work was done they cleaned up all dust and debris leaving the place spotless. A while later, I noticed a water spot in my garage and called Mike about it. He came with his meter to look at it that same night. It checked out dry and he traced it back to the utility room - he speculated it came from an old water heater that had since been replaced. He was upfront in letting me know it wasn't something that needed to be addressed urgently but may start to smell over time and if that happens, I might want to look at replacing the floor. I was really impressed by his honesty and how upfront he was about it not being an urgent issue. That further goes to show he's got the homeowner's best interest at heart. My third encounter with ProDry came after a valve under my bathroom sink had leaked. I wasn't sure the severity but nonetheless called ProDry to check it out. They found that the vanity was saturated on the bottom and water had spread to the wall and floor. I was out of town when they came by but Mike kept me fully informed by checking in regularly and sending pictures of their findings and progress. After a day of drying, I again had them handle repairs. The speed at which they completed this work was astonishing. I left town with a wet vanity/wall/floor on Monday and returned Thursday to a dry, completely restored bathroom. I will gladly recommend ProDry to my friends and family. read more
