For her dinner she chose Blake's Kitchen & Kocktailz spot to bring us all together for a nice late dinner on a Friday night. Parking was super easy and plenty of spots. At night the lot is a little dark so keep that in mind when you are here during night time hours. I had family and company so I felt safe walking with them in and out of the lot. Inside is large and surprisingly they got the space to hold a large party like ours where we had ten (10) people to join in on the celebration. The staff and team were cool enough to allow us to bring in our own birthday cake, utensils, and small plate for the occasion. Menu is large and there really is something for even the pickiest eaters. Our whole party all got things from the menu that ranged from hamburgers, smaller sized country fried steak, and even some mocktails that were not on the menu for the birthday girl. Service was fast and prompt through (almost) the entire night until our servers changed and no one told us. It was fine service changed we just wanted to know and make sure our server, Lily, got the tip we left behind for her taking care of us. Food was good and call came out at the same time which was just OK for me on my hamburger steak but I understand - we are a group of 10! Everything from appetizers to our mains were delicious otherwise.

They always have a large selection of menu items for any craving, and everything is always fresh. Portions are generous. There is plenty of parking out front, and it's another place where the customers spend more time visiting than scrolling their phone. The staff is unfailingly friendly and attentive, and it appears like everyone pitches in to keep things moving. It appeared like the owner (not sure, older man with cowboy hat) was making the rounds, stopped by our table, shook my hand while greeting, and then touched his hat to my wife. Don't see that kind of old timey courtesy very much! Saw him a few minutes later discussing with a small child what flavour of sucker they got rewarded. Nice place to have a meal and take your time to enjoy things. FYI, if you pay cash, you pay at the register, by card, your server can take care of it.
