We had been using another pool company but every visit got more and more expensive - more chemicals…read more- more service. Someone suggested we try Tsunami Jims and it made ALL the difference. Jim came out and taught us what the equipment does and how to work it, how to take care of everything and what it does. We bring out water and they test it and make suggestions never pushing extra things "just in case". Recently our pool went green in the heat and nothing we did helped. We took pictures and samples to Jims and got a complete care process. We followed his instructions and 2 days later we were in the pool - crystal clear. Jim even called to follow up and make sure we were all set. Kathy is a sweetheart and always takes the time to hear me out or talk to my toddler. The staff takes the heavier items out to the car for me when my hands are full. We started using them to open and close our pool and offered vacation service. This is an independent store, family run. The staff is small and busy. Sometimes I have to wait a few minutes while they finish a call but I've found emailing is a good way to schedule service/help esp in the spring when they are slammed and its not an emergency. This is our shop now. Thank you Jim & Co!!

The owners are incredibly difficult to do business with…read more I contracted them for pool closing 2 years in a row. Each year, it is incredibility difficult to get a price up front. They always seem to run into issues and have to increase the price after they do the work. In addition, the the prices have increased 100% year over year; which I feel is unrealistic and this always occurs after the work. It is like they magically run into problems and have to increase the price. And, finally, it is super hard to get a consistent schedule with them. They always have a week window. For pool closing, there is preparation work on the home owner's side. Ideally, you would do this the night before; so debris has less time to enter the pool before it is officially closed.

I am in the market for a built in pool and was looking to spend $ 90-110,000.00 and already had a quote from them. I sure hope it was worth it to them to NOT fix my $ 700.00 widow and loose out on a $ 100,000.00 pool. That is not the way I would do business. Then they insulted my intelligence's by saying it must have been from the heat, but you could clearly see where a rock impacted the window. Furthermore that window is on the north side of my house and does not get the heat all day like the south side does. Told me maybe my lawn mower did it. My lawn mower is a mulching setup so there is a plug in the discharge chute. I recommend staying away from this Co.

Had many issues with plumbing they had an unqualified youngster doing. He plumbed uphill, backward, leaks everywhere. Got through that what thought, then had Jonathan come install a heater a month after. Fire things up yesterday and sure enough our yard is flooded with water coming out of the heater pipes(not condensation since it's not heating). These guys have no idea what they are doing but have cashed over 70k in checks from us. There is a reason they don't have positive reviews for inground installs and that is because they are terrible. I've not had a larger regret in my life than I do having ever dealt with these guys.

They shortchanged us and the local gas company turned all of the gas off to our house until it was corrected. Not only was there no shutoff valve, they didn't use the heavy duty gas line required for underground. Those two issues cost $1300. They refuse to repair or pay for this service because "there is a new owner." We were also fined $1100 back in n 2010 because they didn't get an electrical permit. Take this for what it's worth

DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM THIS PLACE!!!! i went there to buy my first hottub and i was told it was a…read morereally good one. well.... i bought one used and was promised it was 6 years old but when i took the panall off and looked at the information i found out it was thirteen years old. they told me i had a full month warranty and one day within that month i noticed that one of the jets was not working right and one of my speakers quit working. i called them and they said "they will not fix something that small" i took the back panall off the hottub to see if i could fix the speakers and a quarter of the insullation was torn out. when they shown me the hottub they promised me that they put new insulattion all around it but in reality they only showed me the front of the hot tub with the front panall off. the front of the panall had insullation on it but the remaining sides and back of the hottubs insullation was worn out and rotton or missing. i tried to put the panall back on but half the screw holes where drilled out and i was only able to screw in half of the screws. they also drilled out half the screws and kept them in there. so i had to go out and buy new screws for it. the door to the radio didnt have any magnets on it when they brought the hottub over here it was just held on by a piece of tape i had to go to the store to buy new magnets and i glued them on myself. i was promised a month warranty and they were not true to their word. they promised me no matter how big or small the problem was with the hottub they they would bring somebody over to fix it. but its been almost 5 monthes and still they haven't brought anyone over. to sum it all up imperial pools of madison does not have good customer service and is not loyial or fare to their customers. i havent had the hottub not even a year and it doesnt even run anymore i had to drain it because they did such a horrable job fixing it. please dont buy anything from there. they will lie to you.
