I've had good experiences at other LensCrafters locations, including one in Raleigh, NC, where…read morecommunication was clear and delivery timelines were accurate. Unfortunately, this Marietta location has now given me the same experience two years in a row, and it's consistently poor. I ordered glasses on January 3rd based on the advertised 10-day delivery timeframe. Since then, I've received multiple changing explanations for delays, each only communicated after the previous promised date had already passed. First it was a frame backorder, then lens grinding delays, and most recently a broken lens and backordered lens material pushing delivery even further out. At no point was any of this proactively communicated. I had to call each time to find out what had changed. To make matters more confusing, I received an automated "hope your glasses are working out" survey while being told the order was still weeks from completion. The issue here isn't that delays happen. It's the lack of transparency, ownership, and communication. Other LensCrafters stores clearly manage this better, which makes this feel like a local management issue rather than a brand-wide one. If timelines slip, customers should be told early and clearly, not after deadlines pass. I wanted to give this store the benefit of the doubt, but experiencing the same pattern across two different years makes it hard to recommend.

On August 23, 2025, I had an exam at this location and received trial contact lenses. That same…read moreday, I paid in full for a 6-month supply. Since then, I have dealt with nothing but delays, excuses, and unprofessional service. After waiting 2.5 weeks with no update, I had to call the store myself. Joel, the store manager, told me my order would be ready for pickup on September 13. That date came and went with no contact from the store. When I called again, I was told the manager was unavailable. On September 16, Joel finally returned my call and admitted my order still was not ready. He promised to reissue the order and ship it directly to my home address. Now it is September 22--almost a full month after my appointment--and I still do not have my lenses. Today, Joel provided me with a tracking number, and while reviewing it together, I discovered that he failed to include my apartment number, which will cause yet another delay. This is completely unacceptable. Vision care is not optional--it is essential--and I should not have to chase down an order I paid for weeks ago. The mishandling of my order, the lack of communication, and the repeated mistakes demonstrate a total disregard for customers. I have been strung along for a month by Joel, the store manager at location #1448, and there has been no accountability from regional manager Brad Morgan either. At this point, I am demanding immediate action to correct this issue and a clear explanation as to why my order has been mishandled from the start. I will also be filing a formal complaint with the Better Business Bureau and escalating this matter further if necessary. Customers should never have to fight this hard to receive products they already paid for.

This is one of the worst eye centers especially when it involves patient billing. As a pretty new…read morepatient with a few visits, I received a statement for optical eye pictures taken and obviously the insurance company did not pay for. I originally contacted the office to question the balance due and learned that the insurance company did not pay, however after speaking with one of the staff members, I was told he would see if the charge could be removed and would contact me in 24 no more than 48 hours (no response). A week later, I received a notice that the balance would go to collections on a certain date, so I immediately contacted the office once again and requested to speak with the office manager (no response) specially stating . I never received a call from the first staff member and I DID not want the balance placed in collections and if that would be the result of it, I will just pay the bill regardless of what he advised me of originally. A few days later, I received a call from the same originally gentlemen, which stated after speaking with the doctors they decided to remove the charge and explained the next time if pictures are required, I would be responsible (okay fair enough). Upon receiving my mail to learn they sent the balance over to collections after stating the charge would be removed and I am highly upset due to the fact this eye centers business office staff members to do not return promised phone calls nor do they follow up within the time frame specifically stated and the worse part of this whole situation sending my account over to collection and the ONLY way I could put it is, totally deceptive on there point to the point I strongly feel I need to find another eye center, due to the lack of being totally incompetent when it involve a patient's account. At this point, I don't know who the office manager is, because I still have not received a call back from the office when this whole issue started from the very beginning, which is mind blowing when you ask to speak with an office manager regardless someone should respond (but again NO one wants to work these days). I really don't know what's wrong with the health care system these days nor some of the people employed, it honestly appears some just don't want to work, but at the end of the day expect a pay check, because clearly this should not have happen.

I actually like the Dr Fowler, but unfortunately the front desk staff is disorganized, unhelpful, and seemingly uninterested in doing their job. Each interaction feels like they're doing you a favor just by answering basic questions rather than providing patient care or problem-solving. I've gone in expecting to see the optometrist, only to find out he had called out. On Friday, I called to see if my trial contacts had arrived -- I was told someone would check and call me back. They never did. I called again today and was told the same thing...not going to wait. I will head there for the fourth time in one week just to get answers that should have been handled with a simple phone call. The lack of communication, accountability, and basic customer service is extremely disappointing.
