a lot of the reviews for this garage are old. this is my personal mechanic and I can say out of the…read more5-6 times I've gone to him he's been incredibly helpful for me. now I've seen some reviews that attack specific mechanics and this could be the case but the reviews are old and in my experience I've never had a problem with this shop. the prices are fair. Very fair probably the best you'll get in Fredonia. I cannot attest to his level of ability since I didn't ask him to replace a motor or something incredibly hard, more simple stuff (exhaust repair, power steering repair, so on and so fourth) but I can tell you that he is a good guy (the owner that is) and while he may come off as blunt, that's exactly the thing I look for in a mechanic. he just tells you how it is. he tells you exactly what he needs to do, he's straightforward and honest about the entire ordeal. Super super respectable. If he can't fix it he'll tell you that. took a car that has been going for years and was on the end of her life. told me exactly how much it would cost and even recommended (instead of taking a job that would get him a good amount of money) to just buy a new car because even after repair he didn't think it would last long. At the end of the day all mechanics make mistakes but I've absolutely never had a problem with this guy. as far as my interactions and experiences have went he's always been a stand up, honest, and respectful guy. That's all you can ask for especially in a town like this where the other options are either over priced or mechanics that live on their high horse. would absolutely recommend and have as well to people in my personal life and anyone who needs a personal mechanic.
