This time I ordered their take on a WNY specialty pizza: the chicken finger pizza. In short, it was fantastic! Since I'm a member of their rewards program, I received a "$5 off your next order" code and figured it'd been a couple months since my last visit. The coupon couldn't have come at a better time. I placed my order online on a Saturday around 4:15pm for a 5:05pm pick-up. I know, you lose a bit of the personability when you don't call the restaurant to place an order, but online ordering is so easy and quick, and I love being able to pick my pick-up time and know my order will be ready, and paid for, when I arrive. As of 07/2026, the inside of One Pie Pizza Co. underwent a remodel. It's not as spacious, but I think it opens up their kitchen more, which I'm 100% on-board with since that means more pizza and other goodies. The staff are just as friendly and courteous as ever, I'm glad that hasn't changed. So, for dinner, I ordered a QTR Sheet (six slice) from their "SUPER Specialty Pizza" menu - The BFLO Chicken Finger (blue cheese base) cooked "LIGHT WELL DONE", which is a choice between their homemade red sauce or blue cheese base that is topped with diced chicken fingers, mozzarella cheese, and Frank's (medium) sauce. The "LIGHT WELL DONE" option is for cooking the dough underneath a bit more, firming it up, making it crispier. I like a little extra cook on my pizza as, sometimes, the Buffalo-style dough is a bit too limp, almost soggy/wet, which makes holding a slice... challenging. haha Now, I've had a few chicken finger pizzas throughout the years and while I love them, they don't always love me back. They're typically very dense pizzas thanks to all the cheese (blue cheese base AND cheese blends on top) but I was impressed with how well One Pie Pizza Co.'s sat. Don't get me wrong, this pizza is absolutely loaded. When I opened the box, I was worried how I was going to pick it up as it looked messy, but as they say, appearances can be deceiving! I was impressed and didn't finish my meal wearing it all over my hands and face. Every slice was generously topped, the flavor was spot-on. Now, I love a cheesy pizza, but I really appreciate the constraint One Pie Pizza Co. showed with not going overboard with a "blend" of cheeses on top of a blue cheese base - The layer of mozzarella was plenty, a great flavor on its own. As with all of their pizza, this left me happy and full. With that $5 off coupon, this brought the price to under $20, an incredible price, especially in 2026! One Pie Pizza Co. remains one of my favorite pizzas in Buffalo. I'm glad I finally tried their chicken finger pizza, this was excellent. With how well it agreed with me, I'm pretty confident in saying One Pie Pizza Co. will be where I order chicken finger pizzas from exclusively going forward!

While the overall resolution is satisfactory, it took for days of attempted communication, of which many of my attempts when unanswered.

I chose a ham sub and my mom got a chicken hoagie. We also got fries to share. My sub was delicious. It looked like it was made with care, and it tasted so good. The perfect balance between meat, produce, and cheese! My mom loved her sub too and the fries were so crispy and fresh. Subs were something like $5 or $6 which is genuinely a steal in this economy. I'd love to try their pizza and wings. If they're as good as the subs were, that'll solidify this place as a true hidden gem in the Depew area. If you're near Moon's, you've gotta give them a try. After waiting for the fervor to settle down a bit since re-opening early 2026, I finally had the opportunity to do my own "quality control" and make sure Buffalo Deep Dish's Detroit and Chicago style pizzas are just as good now as they were a couple years ago. Really, it's needless for me to say, but the answer is yes, Buffalo Deep Dish is still cooking up EXCELLENT pizzas! Several family and friends met up at BriarBrothers Brewing Co. around 5:30pm on a Friday. The parking was a bit sparser but I still found a spot. The place was buzzing with people but we managed to find a big table for all of us. I didn't place our dinner order but I was aware that the Chicago Deep Dish-style pizza takes close to an hour to cook, but our dinner was already ordered, so we sat with the buzzer, had some drinks and caught up. Where we sat, there was large projector playing golf, then the 2026 NFL Draft, without sound, but beware the noise levels inside are a bit elevated so you'll have to speak up a little. But the dining area, our tables, chairs, were clean and we grabbed several plates, napkins, silverware from the empty bar behind our table. For dinner, we ordered a Cheese & Pepperoni Detroit Style Pizza (six slices) and a Cheese & Pepperoni Chicago Deep Dish Style Pizza (eight slices) as we needed to make sure both styles were as high quality as we remembered a year, or so, ago. :D To start, I went with a slice of the Chicago Deep Dish and pulling out the slice, that cheese pull was incredible! The slice itself was incredible with the soft, and sweet dough undercarriage and the thick, heavy cornmeal crust with plenty of mozzarella, red sauce, and cup-n-char pepperoni, with a nice sprinkle of parmesan cheese to top it all. I love how cheesy and saucy this pie is! After that, I made sure to grab a corner-slice of the Detroit Style Pizza and woo-wee, this was excellent (surprise-surprise! haha). The soft, doughy undercarriage that somehow has the perfect balance of crispy and doughy, paired up with the crunch of the cheese-skirted crust is amazing! Like the first slice, this was generously topped with mozzarella, red sauce, and cup-n-char pepperoni, then topped with a nice sprinkle of parmesan cheese. Now, I'll be honest, I had a tough time determining if Buffalo Deep Dish's red sauce leans more sweet or more savory, as the sweetness of the crust and mozzarella complemented the sauce rather nicely. But if I had to guess, I would say the red sauce leans towards more savory as I didn't think the pizzas themselves were too sweet, they were really nicely balanced. With the high-quality ingredients, presentation, etc., the prices, for the year 2026, reflect that. The prices aren't cheap but are appropriate for the all-around excellence you're getting. Buffalo Deep Dish is back and just as good, if not better! BDD really does elevate the Buffalo pizza scene so I'm glad to see them back and I hope they don't go away again. I can't wait to come back for another pie, I really want to order the specialty Detroit Style Pizza, "Star of the Show", and sip on a cold BriarBrothers beer!

But for $1 you can also have toppings all the way to the edge of the pizza. Maybe I'll try that next time but I don't even know if it's necessary because you get way more toppings than we've come to expect from pizza, especially with post-pandemic price increases and quality reductions at some other places. This pizza has a slightly sweet sauce that is the perfect balance to the cheese and fresh crust. Now ... the wings ... I was leary about trying oven-roasted wings because I am a traditional Buffalo girl. But let me tell you - I could have wings this way from here to and LOVE THEM! They are delicious!! Huge fresh wings with excellent quality meat, seasoned perfectly. They have great oven char - there's nothing chewy or lacking from that great hometown wing feel & taste. We really enjoyed these wings. This is our second time and I can say we will make these a weekly trip. Bravo to Pan Pizza Co and their delicious pizza and wings! Thanks also to them for being incredibly affordable and happy to see all their locations are locally owned! Both Vinny and Oliviah who work at this location were great representations of this business- things like that really matter when choosing where to spend our money, and they were both so friendly, professional and you could tell they took pride in their product. And they should, because our meal was delicious. As far as interior of the business, it is impeccably clean and everything can be seen from the counter. The pizza oven where all the cooking magic takes place is a huge piece of equipment that reminds me of high temp ovens from Italy.
