Another great pizza spot for the books…read more I'm honestly surprised how different Buffalo pizza is compared to Jersey and NYC. You'd think they would be pretty similar, but Buffalo definitely has its own style. I'm a truck driver and was hauling a load from Buffalo to North Carolina, so finding a good pizza spot where I could get a 53-foot tractor-trailer close enough was a challenge. Somehow I got lucky and found a nearby no-parking bus stop for a very quick stop. If you look at my picture, you can actually see my 18-wheeler peeking out from behind the bushes. I ran inside, ordered two pepperoni slices for $10.98, and was surprised by how huge they were. I was expecting NYC-style triangles but got big rectangular slices instead. The crust was crisp underneath with a soft, chewy interior, the sauce-to-cheese ratio was really good, and the crispy cup-and-char pepperoni was easily the highlight. The sauce had a slight sweetness without being overpowering. I also asked for ranch but ended up with Bleu cheese instead, and honestly I'm glad I did because it was really good. The place was clean, the service was quick and friendly, and the pizza was excellent. If I'm ever back in Buffalo, I'd definitely stop here again.

So one pie it was. After placing my order at the window, my slices were handed over nice and hot, knowing that I did not want a hot cheese mess in my lap while driving I went home and immediately went to work on these slices. Only being able to eat one of the two my hankering for pizza was satisfied shout out to that incredible bleu cheese for making those last few bites even more amazing. This is still top-tier elite level pizza for Buffalo.

Amazing prices and even better food!…read more My mom and I were craving subs for dinner and decided to order from Moon's as they're close to my parent's house and came recommended after a quick Google search. I chose a ham sub and my mom got a chicken hoagie. We also got fries to share. My sub was delicious. It looked like it was made with care, and it tasted so good. The perfect balance between meat, produce, and cheese! My mom loved her sub too and the fries were so crispy and fresh. Subs were something like $5 or $6 which is genuinely a steal in this economy. I'd love to try their pizza and wings. If they're as good as the subs were, that'll solidify this place as a true hidden gem in the Depew area. If you're near Moon's, you've gotta give them a try. The staff was so kind, the prices were more than affordable, and the food was downright delicious. Go for it!

Like Dan said, it's not going to blow you away but it's solid pizza. It's also dirt, dirt cheap. For that reason, I'd probably have given it a 4, except that the slice I was given was cold, congealed and dry. No option was suggested to warm it up. I would have gone back in to ask for it heated but I had to get the slice to someone and had already started driving it. I tried it for a second time more recently and it was lukewarm and a little congealed again. So while I think the slices would be excellent fresh, they don't seem to sell enough to warrant keeping a fresh pie handy, and are happy to sell the old, tired, barely edible slices. Which still taste okay. I recommend going here for a fresh whole pizza and skipping the slices, especially in the evenings. I'm not sure how good the wings are yet, but I'll try them next. I'm not sure exactly when, I'll have to wing it.
