My first Quicklees experience, and it was a very pleasant one…read more While the inside looks like all the other modern roadside fuel, snack and go places, with the notable exception of a pocket Tim Hortons for java and donuts, the gas station piece is a nice upgrade from the traditional. It is bright and electronic and easy to use. EV charging stations are present and in use. The only downside came from the effect of cold weather on the gas pump touch screens. Although it quicklee accepted my credit card, the level of octane needed wouldn't respond to my fingers touch/push. I had to return inside to ask the cashier for help. She was friendly and recognized the problem as my hands being too dry and cold for the screen to respond. She rubbed her hands against her clothing and tactiled the appropriate part of the screen. The light for the premium grade went on and I was in business. She turned an annoyance into a learning moment with her response and positivity. Now I know. Quicklees has a lot of promise. Of course, having a Timmy's inside every operation is also a good thing.
