Over 4 hours of time and 160 miles of driving spent to speak to someone for less than 3 minutes in person. I was not able to see a single vehicle and was told it was someone else's fault within the institution. Any criticism showing how unprofessional this facility behaves will be mocked, and customers will be laughed out of the room. They clearly are not hurting for business if this is how they behave. After getting stranded due to some car trouble the other day, we had my mom's car towed to West's based on two things: a) their reasonable labor rate and b)that they had previously helped my mom out when her car was overheating over the summer, with no expectations in return. They gained points for that so we were willing to give them our business. We're both in need of our inspections in about a month or so, so this was a test run in a way. We dropped off her car to them about an hour before they closed on Thursday evening and it was ready to go the next day. Quick and efficient service at a very reasonable rate. They didn't try to take advantage of us (let's be honest - half the time if you are a woman and dealing with a mechanic it feels like they're trying to take advantage of your assumed lack of knowledge). Their online scheduling system originally booked my appointment incorrectly for 4/2 instead of 4/3, but they did agree to still look over the vehicle, which I appreciated. After diagnosing the vehicle on 4/3, they contacted me with recommended repairs and I approved the work. My vehicle remained there for over two weeks and I picked it up after hours on Friday, 4/24. Immediately after pickup, I realized several of the original issues were still unresolved. The windshield wipers still did not work, the airbag light was still on, and later I discovered my backup camera no longer worked and the ambient temperature display now only showed dashes instead of a reading. I texted them that same evening regarding the unresolved issues. A few days later, I was told the wipers had essentially been forgotten about after another repair was completed and that the airbag concern was not something they worked on due to liability reasons -- something that was never communicated to me upfront despite being one of the main reasons I brought the vehicle in. The only repair that appears improved are the brakes, however now the vehicle shakes while braking. I can finally turn the heat off, but now my AC no longer works either. What was most disappointing to me was the lack of follow-up afterward. I sent a respectful message explaining my concerns after picking the vehicle up and never received any response. At that point, it stopped feeling like an honest mistake and started feeling like my concerns simply were not important. I understand older vehicles can be difficult to diagnose, but after spending a significant amount of money and being without my vehicle for over two weeks, I expected better communication, more thorough follow-through, and confirmation that the original concerns had actually been resolved before returning the vehicle. Overall, I left feeling frustrated and disappointed with the experience.

The guy John was rude when I asked if he checked to see if there was any oil on plugs after he told me all I needed was ignition coil pack and plugs. He said all he could tell me is based on code I needed coil and plugs which they could do for $418. I paid the evaluation fee of $ 110 which couldn't have taken more than ten minutes to put code reader on. I took it to another garage to have ignition coil and plugs put in to find out that one of the cylinders was leaking oil as spark plug was covered. And I bought the factory parts for $ 118 and took 15 minutes to install.
