When you walk in, the entire left side of the store appears to be various squishy items, blind boxes, and other toys, while the right side of the store is more snack-related. Having been to a lot of international snack stores and markets, what was available at the Exotic Snack Factory seemed kind of generic? Like, Hi Chews, Pringles, Kit Kats, Chips are great... but I can get them most anywhere. I wanted more interesting items and was let down by what was available on the snack side of things. Don't get me wrong, it's fun to visit and if I need to find Rolife Super Creator models or, I guess, knockoff Labubus? I'll come here. As far as snacks go though, this place was a miss for me. Dont get me wrong I understand it may cost them. But come on. .50 cents plus state tax AND the tax they charge 55cents. For a 99cents a black and mild Jazz at the store is $1.55? I'm sorry, there is no way that's legal. Anything bought under $5 on debit has a 55cent tax. I use debit and credit cards everywhere and I've NEVER been charged so much. I've seen them charge customers different prices higher prices than what's posted. Most of the items dont have pricing on the so they can charge you 100-400% more. Unfortunately this is the closest local store that I can go to since I dont drive, yet, but weather permitted I will ride my bike to a further store. They have a lot of unhappy customers which is probably why one of their window was smashed out .....I DO NOT CONDONE VIOLENCE OR DAMAGING SOMEONE PROPERTY AT ALL, but I guess karma is a bitch after all.
