This place is usually my go to but after todays experience (and others but I think I was in denial) not sure if I'll be returning. Had the same tech for my hands and feet and she always seems so annoyed/bothered. They had me sitting in the chair so awkwardly for the pedicure that one would assume the tech would fix it to make sure you're comfortable but didn't happen. Ran out of time to do the design I wanted (poor planning on my part ) so said I'd come back today. Tried telling the first nail tech the color I wanted atleast 5 times but kept showing me other options. Once I decided on a color close to the one I wanted (even tho I just used the exactly color yesterday) and her sighing several time, another tech came in to do the design which I had to settle on a French because even tho I said I wanted floral no one could do it for me( also told them in advance what I wanted. Then once the nails were painted both techs just left me to tend to other guest as if I wasn't important enough. Sucks to feel that way seeing as how I always tip and am always nice To the techs. Not sure if I'll ever be going back after this experience. read more

totally recommend- quality and service. best gel mani and pedi Ive had in ages. Relaxing environment

You get what you pay for. Went for a basic manicure left with chipped nails. Didn't ask if I liked the color, basic courtesy things weren't done. Dirty towels. Asked for a tip at the end. Giving it two stars because it was cheap 10$. read more

I have been going to Crosby nails for years now and they are the best! Very friendly , attentive and do a great job . Will be a forever customer !! read more

I came for a gel mani and pedi. I asked for "the #2" pedi which is supposed to have a ten min message. Well he just kept rubbing my legs in a circular motion. I asked him if he could focus on my feet and he spent just a minute or two on them and continued to rub my legs! He never cut my cuticles and barely scrubbed my feet. Because the salon was closing soon, another person started to work on my nails. I asked for the powder dip gel and she proceeded to put the powder on my nails. she put so much at one point that I was compelled to ask her will she be thinning them out. She said, oh I thought you like them thick... girls in Long Island like them thin! Not sure what that means but she left a ton of gel under my nails and around my cuticles. I asked her if she could remove it and she said, "oh don't worry about it, just wash your hands a few times and it'll go away" really? She was more interested in my personal life with her invasive questions like how much did I buy my condo for and why don't I have a boyfriend then she was in getting my nails right! I'm sorry... I know in other reviews people stated that they were cheaper than most, but I'd rather spend the money and have it done right then to sit through a bad therapy session! Needless to say I will not be going back! Back on my search for a new salon since I just moved to the neighborhood! read more

Excellent customer service and professionalism. Great place to get your nails done. I 100% recommend

I got my pedicure done with Crosby nails. I chose them cause they were the cheapest among the nearby nail salons. It was $16 for a pedicure. But you get what you paid for, it wasn't a great experience. The lady was rushing me and my nails didn't look that great. I won't be coming back. read more

Extremely rude people. Did nails really fast because they wanted to clos already and the gel polish chipped the very next day. They also did no clean the tools. read more

I went there last Friday for a Mani and Pedi. The place was busy so I volunteered to come back later. The owner put me down for 6. I come back there was still no one to see me. The owner told me to have a seat in the pedi chair. I waited for nearly 20 minutes before I decided to leave because one of the workers had appt with someone else and had to take her. It seems that there was miscommunication between the workers and the owner. However the owner was able to get the one workers to do my feet. The lady who did my feet was Cristina, and she is the only reason why this place receives 3 stars and not 1. Cristina paid close attention to detail and as making sure that all the nails were even, something I appreciated. And then things went down hill.... After Cristina was done one of the managers (?) who was very nice asked me to have a seat at her nail station. Again, the manager while very sweet, did a horrible job on my nails. She left a lot of cuticles on my nail bed and proceeded to paint over the lifted cuticles instead of fixing it. I asked her twice to cut it and she still couldn't do it adequately. I gave up and just let her finish because at that point, it was apparent that she just wanted to finish and couldn't care less about the quality of her work. The nail polish was clumpy. I will try to go again and see if Cristina can do my feet and nails because I would not let the other lady do my nails again. See the picture for yourself. No bueno. read more

Crosby Nails - Pedicure done by another worker and she was good I would recommend her. But this mani was terrible. - Nail Salons Near Me - Bronx, New York

I use to come here before and it sucked but now they have a new owner and new girls Sofia is AMAZING !!!!!

I recently started going here on a suggestion from a co-worker. I wanted to try the nail powder-dipping technique as it seemed to look more natural than acrylic. I made an appointment and was taken promptly on arrival even though I was 15 minutes early. Lisa took care of me and did an excellent job. While having my nails done, I was offered a back massage for 10 minutes but she gave me a bonus 5 minutes for the same price. The price of powder-dipping can be very high (depends on where you go) but their prices are very reasonable. I have gone back a second time with no complaints. I believe this will be my new spot for doing my nails and feet going forward. It's further away than my long time nail salon but it's worth the extra driving. read more

This nail salon is terrible. There is no colors at all, and the colors that they have are nasty. My gel manicure and pedicure was horrendous. I told the lady multiple times to fix stuff and she would "fix" it and it would still look bad. They didnt even color my nails to the top of my nail. They left the whole top part uncolored as well as the sides. Stay away unless you want to pay soo much for trash nails. read more

Love Lisa in here !!! And they give u awesome massages while u get you nails done ... For free !!!

So disappointed at the lack of courtesy. Can't go back because of poor customer service. Poorly run establishment. Owner is nice until things not her way or customer needs attention. read more

The only person who did a great job was Christina. If you are looking for her she is doing nails at Lucy's Hair Salon 4110 E. Tremont Avenue. Don't listen to them when they tell you she is on vacation. RUDE!Don't go here! Owner is NASTY!! She over charges for watered down polish that chips. I was going here for years. Don't listen to them when they tell you she is on vacation. RUDE!! They will make you wait forever! read more

I was very surprised by how much I enjoyed my mani/pedi. The fresh cucumber they used on my legs was such a welcome after a beach day. The staff is friendly and extremely likeable, they are very fast, but also very careful in their work, which is a sign of skill. The review below caught me by surprise. Next time love, ask for Rosie, she's amazing. I go there every 2 weeks. My pedicures always last for week/half-two weeks and my manis last about a week. read more

Don't like the gel manicures but the pedicure with the Hispanic ladies is awesome - value and friendly....plus close to home

I went to Crosby Nails on a very busy Friday afternoon. The owner got me in her chair right away. Which was great, because I told her I was strapped for time. But instead of doing the acrylic white tips I requested, she volunTOLD me to get a gel manicure instead. With the language barrier, I thought she was still going to pull out the acrylic and brushes, and top it off with gel. She kept saying "do you understand me?", while we were discussing services and prices. That was a little condescending. And she ended up giving me a subpar manicure. A manicure. NOT the acrylic, full set with white tips I had requested. I was almost going to tell her, I hate to be rude, but this is not what I asked for. I'll pay what I owe you, but no need to finish... but I didn't have the balls! She kept saying, why would you want to ruin your real nails, this looks more natural. Well, it also looked very sloppy. Hence, the reason I prefer acrylic. She asked me how I liked it, all I could say was, "its different". I also got a french tip pedicure. They don't use brushes to wipe away and shape the white nail polish along the tips of your toes?! It looked awful. And the lady sped through my pedicure, didn't even spend ample time pushing back cuticles or scrubbing... I will not return here, ever. I am from California. So, I think I'm going to have to interview my next nail lady, to make sure they even embrace acrylics. read more

I love this place I go here to relax and enjoy good company the mani pedi and massage are amazing all the ladies are great

I made an appointment for a manicure and pedicure. When I arrived all nail technicians were with clients. I waited 30 minutes and then was given a seat for my pedicure where I waited another 10 minutes. They then rushed through my pedicure (I didn't get the hot stone massage that is included in the price) and then was charged $25.00 for the mani/pedi. When it is usually $22.00. When I asked why the price went up, the woman said something I could not fully understand. As I sat in the drying area, another client was paying for her mani/pedi and was charged $22.00!?! I will not be returning. read more

I've visited this place more than I like to admit, its walking distance from my home. The latino women are the only ones who paint neatly & perfect, but every service is rushed. The pedicure chairs are super old and falling apart. The owner needs some customer service training for herself and the staff. With so many nail salons in this area your $ would be better spent elsewhere. After the rude treatment today and bloody cuticle from being cut to aggressively, I have wasted my last dollar in here. read more
