$50 for just a CLEAR mani pedi and she couldn't even do that right. Absolutely sloppy and careless, did not even attempt to shape them correctly or push my cuticles back cut them all the way. Will never ever go there again. I paid for something my 5 year old nephew could have done at home.

The owner needs to hop off his high horse! his ego is so far up his ass! He treats the workers like they are his Servants. I once asked him to get me a color and he refused he said that's not what he does there he Just collects the money! ha. second run my nail broke in 3 days after geting a filling ,mind u I haven't done any heavy lifting or banging and it just broke like nothing,I proceeded to make an appointment to get a replacement When I walked in he told me to have a seat mind u an apt was set and someone was being taken care of at the time of my apt which means I had to wait. So I asked him instead of me just sitting there and doing nothing shouldn't I be soaking and he said yes, when I finish my lunch I'll put you to soak is that OK with you and kept asking me in a loud voice if that's OK with me in front of other customers very sarcastic. The treatment I got today was rude and disgusting! total waste of time! I don't recommend this place! After the year we've been through with Covid I think people should be more nicer. And definitely more professional if you're trying to run a business where us the customers are the ones that are keeping you afloat! With that being said please don't go there For your nails place is trash! There's a lot of other great places in the Bronx where you can find great service and more professional people. First time coming and will definitely come again. It's a little pricey but worth it. My daughter got a pedicure that for the first time didn't complain that they hurt her (she's 10). Her and my pedicure came out great! Also got tips with gel polish (3 weeks ago) and aside from the obvious growing out still look good. Came in the morning and didn't have to wait long at all. There was a man who I assume was the manager making sure everyone was seated and being service ASAP. Recommended this place to my sister and she went with her boyfriend to get pedicures and they loved it too!

Beautiful work . The man who answers the phone is very nice but when you can't make an appointment or have to change it he gets upset. You got understand people have a life and things come up ! But other than that the work that they do is gorgeous...... Lisa and Sonny are the best

I love this family ran business. I have been coming here for probably 5 years. A gel set is $35 and a pedicure ($20). There is a very wide selection of gel polish and every color has a regular polish to match. They use quality acrylic, it doesn't burn your fingers and get hot like that cheap stuff. My regular polished pedicure is on week number 3 with no chips as we speak. Your acrylic set with gel can last for 3 weeks. This place will get PACKED sometimes but they have a lot of nail techs, I think like 8 doing hands and at least 5 other people doing feet. Just try to come during the week when it's less busy or early on the weekend. You can call ahead of time to see what the wait is like but a majority of the days I go I'm the next person in line. The salon is clean and well kept. Not a lot of crying babies or loud people talking across the room at each other around here either which is a plus lol. So sit back and relax these are nail techs you can trust with your fingers/toes. I fully recommend this place! You can look at some pics I have taken this year. I will upload more later. Not all of the pics were taken during the service but the nail were done at this salon.

Very busy spot. Walked in on Easter and saw Jenny. She did an amazing job with the shape and polish. Bumped down two stars due to lack of cleanliness. I'm a shy person and I should have requested her to clean the space, but I'm under the impression it's normal for these places to be gross. She did my nails over the previous clients nail clippings and filings.

They do good nails in comparison to a lot of other spots. I have been going to Vanna nails for over 1 year. Recently every time I go I get a finger cut. This time was unacceptable. I was cut 4 times to the point I was bleeding and the woman doing my nails got an attitude. The manager was nice and let someone else paint them, but this is unacceptable. I will not be returning, and I do not agree with their sanitary process. After cutting me she did not sanitize the tools-and proceeded to get angry with me. I'm actually worried for my own health being that this is not the first time I've been cut and have seen them continue to use the tools as if nothing happened. I actually feel bad writing his review because I have been going to this salon for a few years now but I won't be returning. They also charged me full price. The manager did apologize I will say that - the lady who did my nails was angry and did not apologize. Either way the entire event was unacceptable and I won't be returning.

I've walked passed this nail salon a million times and I now regret not walking in sooner. I came here specifically for Vanna to do my nails due to the reviews and photos on yelp. Trust me, believe the hype! Vanna was sweet, quick, skilled, and gave me exactly what I wanted! I also went for a pedicure and Catin was a pleasant surprise. She did a beautiful job on my toes, was knowledgeable about foot care DIYs, and very sociable. Vanna nails and spa has become my new spot!

I usually get powder dip on my own nails which they charge 45$.. then to take off the current dip on my nails is 5$.. and last time I asked for the French nail line .. they charged $10 EXTRA! Just to add a LINE! That is ridiculous! No design no crazy anything just a color. read more

If I could give a zero I would! They were incredibly rude to my mother. They talk down to you as if you are beneath them. After waiting for an hour to get her feet done they told her it was closing time instead of telling her they would not be able to do her feet after having her hands done. One woman snapped at her after she asked how much longer it would take to get her feet done. The rude bald headed man needs some store etiquette, he barked at me for just going in to give my mother the money to pay them. After they realized how harsh they spoke to my mother the wife had the nerve to call my mother and offer a freebie....she declined of course and we now drive a few miles just to get better service!!! Please understand that losing one patron may not hurt y'all but reviews will! read more

Nails are cheap but never last more than a week Service is super slow Waited 3hrs and they still messed up my nails The manager didn't even care to fix them. They lost a customer mind you I used to go there A LOT but I was just too nice. read more

This was my first time coming here . I got a full set with gel color . The lady Vanna did my nails and I was not impressed at all . She was a bit rude when I requested a design and not to mention the coffin shaped nails I wanted weren't even. She sorta rush to do my nails. I didn't complain at all but I won't be retuning here to do my nails. read more

Not happy with new techs; manicure doesn't last due to cheap nail polish and they don't let you choose your nail color bottle only from a nail color wheel so you can't tell if the polish is good quality. My last manicure did not last not even a week. I was able to peel it right off after it chipped two days later. read more

Laura has been doing my nails for almost a year now (and she does Judy's nails too!) suffice it to say, I am always beyond pleased! She's thoughtful, a great conversationalist, so knowledgeable, and creative. She low-key makes me an undercover girly-girl (which I'm definitely not) while letting me toe the line on my comfort zone. I like neutral and subtle nails - she stays just on the edge of that and it's always beautiful. read more

I had been coming here for years with my family. When I went to my same tech she began getting frustrated that I was telling her that the nail Polish sort of looked funny on my nails. It seemed like the nail polish thinned our because they put acetone in it. She ended up putting four coats on my nail that looked terrible and when I told her I didn't like the way it looked she told the owner she no longer wanted to do my nails any more. The owner told me I had to go to a different salon and that he would rather lose a customer than his nail tech. Very nasty, rude and unprofessional. They also don't treat their workers with respect. I'm Glad myself and my family no longer go to this salon. When you have long time customers you're supposed to treat them like the loyal customers they are. I have found an amazing salon and I definitely don't miss this place. read more

CANDY is really unprofessional. 2-3 years ago I asked for the almond shape but she did them crooked and I wasn't paying for crooked nails. She got annoyed about my "complaints" and told the manager whom took her side instead of the clients'. Never went back there. read more

Sooo when I first came here two months ago everything was great. I continued to come to this nail salon but as time went by I kept encountering issues like my nails keep lifting and even two of my nails kept turning green . But the nail tech blamed me so I thought maybe I need a new set soo I got a NEW set. Even with the new set I'm still coming across the same issues, a few nails lifting and even one of my nails turned green. I've been getting my nails done majority of my life and I have never encountered this many issues. I wouldn't expect this especially when I'm spending $70 (on just nails) and i still had to come back less than a week later because my nail lifted so much that it basically was ready to fall off wth read more

The design came out well but nails are chunky and sloppy for $70. For that price I expected something with a little better quality. Good place for a simple mani and pedi but wouldn't come back for anything special. Place was clean and mainly sanitized. I'm not sure how clean the cuticle cutters are since I didn't see any kind of sanitation at all. But my boyfriend loved his pedi so 3 stars. read more

I have to say, my wife love to come here, can't say that there work isn't bad, I can here, three days before my wedding to get my hands done. I work a lot with my hands, that my nails look like hell on wheels. Let me tell you it took a lot to get me in there, but it was cool, the moment they started to work on my hand, I was in heaven and fell asleep . That's how good they are. Pass by, you'll like it. read more

I made an appointment to come here, I was unable to make it because I was at a hair appointment. I was going to call to cancel but the manager calls me and starts yelling at me saying I should've called, I tried to explain that I was about to call but he continued to talk over me then hung up on me. I'm sure they do a great job, but I will NEVER give them my service if they think it is okay to do that. Totally unprofessional and uncalled for! Your business won't last long if that is your version of customer service. read more

One nail came out a little tilted but it's okay not SO noticeable . I also had a pedicure and Tania did an amazing job . Probably the best pedicure . 38$ for acrylic tips with gel and 20$ for pedicure . read more

Let me start off by saying Jenny is the best worker there. She deserves a raise. Now for the bad stuff, the Asian male with glasses is so RUDE. He's always yelling and rushing everyone. He quotes you one price then charges you another price at the end. My daughter wanted just a regular manicure with different colors. They charged her $1 per nail extra. WTH is that about. A regular manicure is $12 and that comes with one color. So why charge $5 more dollars?? Also, their prices for powder manicure was $40. That's more expensive for sub-par work. We are done spending our money here. read more

Came here through word of mouth and I am very satisfied. Came on a busy Saturday and waited maybe 15 mins. Got a full set with gel (only one color) and it was reasonably priced for the quality of work that was performed. She shaped my nails better than anyone who has ever done my nails before and the environment is fun and happy. Will be returning for my fill in! read more

They were very nice and do a good job but no foot/leg massage unless you pay an extra $15 for a spa pedicure?? I've never heard of this before. They don't do a scrub or massage with a regular pedicure so know this before you go. The nail technician was very good and did a thorough job though. My nails looked great and the spa pedicure was very nice but it felt rushed. I skipped the manicure. read more

The name Is changed to VANNA NAIL salon. Came here for the first time today. It wasn't empty but I didn't even have to wait to get my nails done. Love this place! I'm so very picky about how my nails are done. Vanna, her husband, their kids and nail technicians are all so welcoming and considerate of your requests and or questions. It's rare to find a place that does great gel mani's, pedicures and eyebrows! Their nail polish variety is pretty impressive as well and they're always up on the newest nail trends too! This place is actually pretty amazing. They are very attentive to when you come in and ask immediately what you need. Busy place and I went on a holiday so it was even busier. Jenny did my nails and she was amazing, really good attention to details. However, as some reviews said, they arent the most sanitary and wish thy were a little more. My nails turned out amazing as did my pedicure. Will definitely go again. read more

The service is great and the staff is really nice. Im a new customer here and I've been there about two times, the couple of times, I've been there I paid $55 for nails the first time, and the second time almost $35 and that's not counting the tip I give to whoever service me. What I don't like is that my nails look like they need a fill-in the very next day, because it seems like they don't know how to apply acrylic to your full nail. I don't appreciate paying that much money to then be back in a week, because the employees can't fully cover my nail in acrylic. Don't believe me? Go on yelp yourself and look at some of the pictures of the nails. They're not as horrible as other places, but at least they fully cover my nail completely with acrylic, and I don't have to go back for another two weeks. At Vannas, you'll be there next week upset that your nails were done last week and you have to pay another's $35.00. I will be looking for another place where my nails will last me two weeks, not a week. Idk if that's their skeem to keep customers coming back, but it's a shitty one if you ask me. Please cover the entire nail in acrylic, ya are to expensive to be acting cheap with the acrylic that's already paid for by the customer. read more
