$27 for angel matte mani and full-in? Count me in! Lisa was very nice and accommodating. I didn't like the initial color I selected, so she changed it to a gray without issue. She worked quickly, and the quality was great. I believe she finished in about 35 minutes. Found my new spot while I'm in the Bronx! 8/10 My only con is that the design and color selection for gel seems limited, but perhaps I'm just too picky!

I got my a full set (acrylic w/ reg nail polish) and a reg pedicure. I enjoyed the pedicure done by Alex. She was very careful and at the beginning asked me exactly what I wanted ex. she asked me if I wanted my nails cut or filed. When it came to scrubbing she made sure to feel the heels of my feet to make sure they were baby soft. I enjoyed a comfortable 30 min pedicure on a Saturday while getting a back massage from the massage chair. What I didn't like is that this salon does not use warm towels to wrap your feet before putting lotion on. They use regular paper towels which is not a nice feeling. (Not Alex fault.) But overall Alex did do a great job cleaning my nails and painting them. I got a full set by Kim who I believe is the owner. She also asked me how I wanted me nails and she works pretty fast. I showed her a picture of what I wanted and she nailed it! (haha, pun intended.). What I did not like is that she did not ask me if I wanted my cuticles pushed back. She cleaned them off with the machine. Then when she buffed my nails too close to my cuticles on two of my fingers which led to small tiny cuts which was (and still is) uncomfortable at the moment. She did apply the healing drops after I requested them. Also, again no warm towel before lotion. And they don't massage hands and feet at this place either lol. Generally the places that I've been to regularly do so. Overall, Kim did a great job with the shape and design. Would I come again? Yes. This is a clean space. However id ask next time that my cuticles be pushed back not shaved off. Friendly service and minimal wait time. I went on a weekend around 4:30 pm.

First time here, walked in and my good first signs was it was clean and there was a wait ! But it's totally worth the wait. Kim's husband attended me and I couldn't be happier with his work. I told him what kind of colors I was looking for and he helped me find just the right ones! To be honest I've been looking for this color I got on my hands for a while and never found the precise color always similar ones. Overall I paid 65 for gel tips and a pedicure. Price seems right for the work. Will definitely come back !

So it's been about a year since I first reviewed this place. I have been going back every few weeks to get my nails filled in. I can only speak for myself but I refuse to let just anyone do my nails. Kim has done a fabulous job every time I walk in there. My trust in her work is beyond anything I could describe. I told her to make my nails fancy for my 30th birthday and she did not disappoint at all. She is up on the latest trends and she really knows what she is doing.

I have been coming here for years Kim is amazing so is Steven. I love Alex she does my pedicures so nice. I show Kim what I want she can do it. They follow all guide lines in regards to covid.

I've never found a nail place that I TRULY love. When I moved to the Bronx, the findings were even more scarce. I was going to this place that was overpriced and their work was mediocre at best. This is where Yelp came along! After reading reviews I picked this salon. I couldn't be happier with my choice! Lisa did my pedicure and Kim did my manicure. Both did an AMAZING job, and THE PRICE IS RIGHT. The ladies there are super sweet as well, and I can't wait to go back. read more

Went there had no appointment said walk in welcome.. the lady stated the next available time is 530.. I said I would like an appointment for tomorrow she told me it would be $25. To hold the appointment. I have not heard anything like that. read more

Hidden beauty is exactly that, HIDDEN. It can be difficult to notice if you're driving. I'll first start with what was good. My nails looked great; they were very neatly and professionally done (honestly the best they've looked in years). It was the pedicure I had the problem with. First if all, I had to ask the woman to put on her mask. She barely put any effort into the pedi and didn't even use lotion. She also dried my feet and legs with paper towel instead of with warm towels. My toes looked nice, but it was NOT a good overall pedicure experience and would NOT recommend getting one here. For acrylics however, absolutely!!! read more

I've been trying to find a new nail place for years! I may have found one. I usually get gel fill ins with acrylic and they last pretty long. I think the pedicures could be better but definitely a plus for the nails though. One thing I will say about this place is to try to avoid it on Saturdays. There's usually people outside waiting for them to open the doors at 9:30. And the wait could be up to two hours. I did go on a Wednesday evening around 6:15 and there were only about two people ahead of me so I decided to wait. I usually go to the guy for my fill ins, I believe his name is Stephen. Give it a try! read more

Called to make and appointment and was told to just come in as there was no wait time. Came in. And walked out. Because: --it was crowded. Overcrowded. --aroma of acetone in the air was unbearable --no "Hello" at all. Until you stare one of the employees down and they are almost forced to say something. It is not a 4,5 start salon. Esthetics and feel of the salon matter and it is no where near the current Yelp rating. Waste of my time. read more

Kim is truly the best! I receive compliments about my nails all of the time. I am moving to Brooklyn pretty soon and highly considering driving to the Bronx every 2 weeks to get my nails done by Kim - I am very happy with her work so not sure what I am going to do lol All in all - would highly recommend! read more

It had been a very long time since I'd gotten my nails done (acrylic) and had a pedicure and none of the places I used to go to still exist. Yes folks, it's been that long. So began my search. I found a place that looked clean and had lots of customers so I figured what could be wrong? Everyone seemed pleased and happy with their nails. Needless to say that by day 2 my nails began lifting. I was so disappointed I almost have up entirely UNTIL. .. I FOUND HIDDEN BEAUTY. Not only did my technician Anna fix my nails but she did an incredible job. It is now day 4 and my nails look as amazing as they did the day I got them done. I am really hard on my hands and nails. I always have my hands in water, and no I don't wear gloves, not to mention I do administrative work so I'm constantly typing or filing,yet they still look great AND it's not a gel job. This is just regular nail polish. I'm hooked. I think I have found a new nail salon to call home! read more

I needed a mani & pedi asap last week, went on yelp and found this gem. Kim did my manicure, and let me just say that I can tell from the moment she started that she is amazing. Her work is perfect! Then another lady did my pedicure, (I didn't ask her name) and she also did a great job with my pedicure, which usually I have a hard time finding someone who can actually take care of my ingrown toe nails. I decided to write this review today because I just realized my color has barely chipped, even though it was a regular mani not gel. These ladies have earned a new client. read more

My nails look nice but they are not what I wanted. My nails look messy acrylic and nail polish everywhere. I did not get one of the two people who do nails all the time. The lady was nice but my coffin nails look messy and there are bubbles and they are thinner than what I came in with. I was really looking to love this place and I won't be coming back; it was messy loud. I did not and could not relax. I'm soo sad I couldn't love this place. So the next day I just lost a nail. I had told the lady that they looked weak and she told me not to worry that I could come back if they broke. What a waste of money to break a nail I'm soo upset!!! read more

Ridiculous fast service. I did not have to wait. Anna did my nails and she gave me new hands. I desperately needed a filler. I constantly wash my hands at work and my acrylic was barely hanging on. My nails were starting to hurt so bad. Found This place on yelp and the reSt is history. 27 dollars for a filler and gel ridiculous I was paying 60 dollars around my job. Love ittttt! read more

The reviews lead me to this spot, it was alright, nothing special, and a bit pricer than others I've seen. Kim didn't do my nails but I don't remember the name of the lady who did, but she wasn't customer friendly much. read more

I've came here at least 4-5 times already. I love this salon. I usually go back and forth between two, but this one when I'm on a budget. I got a full coffin set with gel. I love the way it came out, but I wish they were a bit longer and the glitter color was not the exact one I chose but I still like them. In the beginning, I asked for the price for the set and gel and the lady said $33 but at the end I was charged $38. I didn't care too much about it, but what happened if I only had the $33 they asked for? Highly recommend though. Nails break easier if you're very active. read more

I've been going to this salon for 3 years. I go to Kim, I love her! she's amazing at what she does (as well as her husband, Steven) You name it; she does it. She's so sweet and friendly. Most importantly she does a great job and does it fairly quick without rushing. She's definitely the best nail tech. out there. I highly recommend them to all my friends and family. I wouldn't trade Kim for the world. read more

First time here and I was happy with the results. The lady did a nice job painting my toes. I was amazed at how quickly she did it without messing up(ppl always mess up at other places I been to). This pic was taken 2 days after and it still looks new and fresh. My only problem was that she cut my cuticles too fast and I am extremely sensitive and a couple of times as she pulled I felt pain : ( however I let her know and so she was careful after. Kim did my gel mani and she works fast but I can tell she's an expert. She zinged me around my cuticles twice but I recovered quickly. My advice to this business is to be more sociable with your clients. Steven walked in to the shop for the first time (I never met him before) and wow he gave me a bad impression. He had a client waiting and she said hi to him about 3 times and he didn't even smile or say anything back! He didn't even smile at his wife or say anything to her. His misery was certainly felt amongst us. **Don't push negative vibes on to your customers coming to pamper ourselves is suppose to be a relaxing and happy experience. Thank you read more

I decided to try this place out because I am tired of the overly expensive shops in Manhattan and the shops that are reasonably priced do a sloppy job. This place is close to where I live so that is a big plus. For a gel manicure at Hidden it is $25 and a pedi is $13. Good deal to me! I got my nails done by Stephen or Steven. :) He and his wife Kim own the salon. He did a great job! Ahh, he did such a neat job with my gel manicure. They are very accommodating and very nice. For being very busy they did not rush the job. Stephen is great at multitasking without abandoning his customers. I am very much so satisfied and will be making Hidden my regular spot. Rosa did my pedicure and she did far from a half a** job. She did her thing on my cuticles and scrubbed the hell out of my feet! Yesss! She took her time with painting and cleaned up verry well! Came here based on reviews. I hail from Westchester but came to the boogie down in order to save myself some bucks. I have to say that the service is very basic and if you want a standard mani/pedi on the fly and don't have too high expectations, then come on by. Parking is not good and expect to wait quite a bit on a busy day for a nail technician. My mani and color came out good and I left satisfied. read more

This is the first and last time im going to this place...i was in a hurry to get my nails done since this was the one day i had free...it was a sunday and i saw this place was open..excited that it was open early i decided to get my nails down..i ask for a mani pedi..proceed to sit on the chair. I guess the female asian whos name is Jenny with the short black hair had an itch on her back..so she takes a nail file from the draw where the pedicure draws were and ..scratches her back with it..i then see her put it back in that draw. when it was time to file my nails, jenny takes the same nail filer and attempts to do my nail...of course i told her no..get a new nail file for which she did...i thought it was disgusting and i dont know how many times she has done this..had i not paid attention she would of used that file on me...first and last time... read more

Kim and her husband are the best. I've gone maybe three times in total and they're great. They do a perfect job. Do NOT go to anyone else for a manicure other than these two. I went to another lady for a manicure and she was too rough and also did not do a good job. read more

Each color is a gel color over a pink gel-builder foundation. Also, this place is cash only. Be sure to hit the ATM beforehand; and, it's also best to make an appointment if you want extensive work done so they have time for you. Total for my fill-in with gel pedicure with callous removal and massage was $145 not including tip.

Since moving to the Bronx it has been hard to find a nail technician that I love. Well I can now say that I have found one. Kim is amazing with her work. The way she treats you is with such warmth. Not to say she shapes your nails beautifully!! I have never had someone give such a better perfect shape to my nails like she does. Overall great service, prices and very knowledgeable.
