I came here on 3 separate occasions for a simple gel mani. All three times my nails were uneven and had rough edges that would snag on clothes and eventually break my natural nail. And all three times the gel nail polish would chip within 2 days: my mani never lasted a whole week without chipping or peeling. They charge $20 for the mani but save your money and go someplace else because they're clearly mixing their gel polish with something else that is causing the color to chip quickly (on some nails the color peeled off in one whole piece!). I only went in one last time for them to remove the color ($5) and I politely complained to the girl what happened and brought her the polish that peeled off whole. She did not offer any apology or explanation whatsoever. I'm sure she knows they're scamming the girlies. read more

I love this place so much! I've been coming here for about 2/3 years now. I've had an awesome experience with almost every tech that has worked here. My regular girl now is Ofelia and she is an amazing artist. I will say, my nails are always a normal plain gel color or my favorite, French. But I've seen her do some fabulous work on clients that want the loud colors and jewels and they are absolutely beautiful. Oh, and the pedicures here are the best I've ever had. They really go in on your toes! They are not shy about taking any built up dirt or hang nails. Some say that it can be pricey because they do charge to do certain lengths or shapes BUT it is worth it. I'd rather pay extra knowing the job will be right vs not paying and it be a sloppy job. It was good and clean and it was a nice environment. I got French tips oval shaped and the total came out to be $40. Rather than gel o just got regular polish and so it took some time to dry and so I spent about 1hr 15 min in the salon. The person doing my mail took good care of my nails and always tripled check them to make sure that they were all even and all the same. I really love my nails. I've been coming here every few weeks for the past year to get my nails done. I had snapped off one nail and told the girl to be careful when taking off the gel. She used the file machine too hard and split my nail halfway down my nail bed. I screamed bc it hurt so bad! I then had to get acrylic over it to help now regrow my nail. When it came time to pay they gave absolutely no discount ! Terrible customer service , I'm a regular customer and will not be returning. However I asked for a flower design and got this crappy design instead. Looks like a 5 year old did it & as I was telling her what to fix she was looking at me like I was psycho, the nail tech even muttered "omg" under her breath. 2-3 hours of doing my nails and this is the result? Just moved here from Astoria and most places near me (more towards west side) are a bit pricier. Upon being used to average Queens pricing, Got a pedi here for 18$. Great service, nice staff. Two cons: - I had to ask for a hot towel upon drying me off (she used paper towel until I said something ) - They use off brand polish. Personally I only go to salons that use Essie and OPI as these brands last a lot longer. Usually the mani/pedi won't last long if it's an off brand. This visit I DID bring my own Essie polish, so 5 stars, looks great and lasting well so far. read more

This is a pretty shitty salon, the only reason I came here was because avenue nail salon had a one hour wait. I had acrylics done with gel on top. The nail lady didn't even let my nails cute completely, after the manicure my nails still felt sticky. She also cut my cuticle and it stung every time she put any product on top. The environment was very stressful and not relaxing at all because of the screaming children and the loud and annoying, along with the nail techs yelling at each other over the music. I should have known when I walked in on an 80 degree day and the AC was off, I should've just turned around and left. The lady doing my nails was extremely unfriendly but I personally don't really care much about that. What I don't like was she was extremely rough- I've been getting my nails done for like 15 years and I've never felt physical pain from someone filing my nails. They looked ok when I left the salon, not great, I saw some uneven spots but it was so hot I just wanted to leave. A week later my nails started coming loose (which usually only happens when I wait 3+ weeks to get them done), my cuticles look awful which makes me realize I don't think she even did them and it looks like pieces of the acrylic chipped off toward the bottom of my nails because it's all uneven. They look a mess and now I have to go get them fixed because they're half falling off, and as I'm sure anyone who gets their nails done knows, that hurts extremely bad. She also made me bleed when she was doing my nails. This is one of the worst places ive ever gone to. Yeah it's cheap but if they need to be fixed a week later you aren't really saving money read more

The woman who did my nails was super detailed and followed the image I showed her exactly even when I said she could be a bit creative if she couldn't do all of the designs. $100 total for a full acrylic set with extensions and designs on every nails+pedicure with callus removal so prices are very reasonable. I had the best experience here. I'll admit, the ratings seem low but that's bc there's so few. For $19 I got the most thorough pedicure ever. They massage your legs 3 times, first with liquid exfoliating soap, then with moisturizer and finally with oil and a hot stone --Delish! Before putting your sandals back on before painting your nails they place this corner baggie with heated & scented paraffin wax on your heels to continue moisturizing. Fortunately, I had a woman named Cindy do my pedicure and when I was drying my toenails, she came over and gave me the most amazing 5-minute back massage and would not accept another tip! if i could give a zero i would. i went to do my nails at this salon when i finally grew my nails enough to wrap my own nails instead of getting tips. she wasn't clear on the price and kept changing it...i don't even care about ANY OF THIS! the reason i am livid is because my nails are frail and struggle to grow so when they grew enough I wanted to keep my own nails... but now i CAN'T because she CUT THEM ALL OFF!!!!!! she said she was cleaning the acrylic from under my nails but took all my nails....i just noticed cuz i was going to soak them off so i can get them done again but Noooooo FML I'm so mad. now i gotta wait another two months and waiting and growing my own stupid nails AGAIN read more

Long wait... ONE HOUR and it was packed. One of my nails is starting to lift and it's the first day . They have a sign in system like a doctors office but, I was not informed to sign in when I got there so there was lots of confusion. UPDATE: Sofia did an amazing job on my fill and it came out pristine. Seating was only about ten minutes which was better than (obviously) on New Year's Eve. WILL COME BACK!!!!! read more

Lady is a star! I live in Brooklyn but after I saw my cousin's nails a few times I had to try her nail salon. I am so glad I did because I have not returned to my over priced and non-skilled nail salons in Brooklyn. Lady has done my nail 3 times now and each time she has done a great job. The girl in the first chair cut me with the buffer machine, my finger was dipping blood! I went for a fill in which is suppose to cost $14 & somehow it was $20 -_- when I asked why she said the shape and color. I previously had cofen shaped nailed but when I went for the fill in I told her to make them regular shaped. She didn't shape my nails in any way! And I got a black matte nail color so idk what she was talking about. Then I put my nails to dry in the fan and apparently the fan had white powder inside it & it got all over my nails so she had to do it again. The acrylic she put on still SO thick after I told her 5x make it thinner. Each nail has a different amount of acrylic then the next & my thumb looks like it's dipping.
