Avoid this place at all costs! I went to Perfect Nails on November 4th to get acrylic French manicure. The nail tech that I was assigned to seemed to have little to no experience. The way she was applying so much gel onto the acrylic nail made it look extremely thick and when I questioned it, she kept saying that she was going to file it down. The filing took forever. Towards the end, I just wanted to get out of there because I was literally sitting there for 3 hours for a service that shouldn't take as long. They charged me $110 for mediocre service and even the lady at the counter looked at my nails and took it upon herself to file the imperfections because even she noticed how bad it was! I was a little annoyed with my visit. They were pretty busy and remembering when I used to visit here often, I usually never had any issues. This particular visit, there were a few missteps. I made my appointment based upon a massage and facial appointment I had in the afternoon. I explained to them that I wanted two waxings done, as well as a pedi. They gave me the appointment time for 11A. I arrived before 11 but was told to wait. I waited maybe five minutes and Vicky greeted me and led me to the private room. My wax appointment was great. Vicky was very gentle. She told me about her daughter's preference when she does her waxing and uses her daughter's suggestions to make the clients feel more comfortable. She made me feel very calm and my underarm waxing was virtually painless. She was gently with the wax application, took her time and removed hair is small sections. I don't have much hair to begin with so it was fine. She did my entire lower leg, include toes and knee area. She also plucked any lone hairs that lingered on my underarms. After my waxing session, I came out expecting to be taken immediately to a pedicure chair. There seemed to be some confusion and the gentleman at the front told Vicky to direct me to one of the empty pedicure chairs. I sat down, started the chair massage, and waited. I sat there for over 15 minutes but noticed no one was coming. It was after 1145A and my appointment in Dobbs Ferry was at 1245P. I grew concerned and asked the guy in the front how long it would take. He said two minutes and apologized, stating that I was forgotten about while I was getting waxed. Even if that were true, I felt like he could have kept that to himself. No one wants to be forgotten about. A few minutes later, Gaby came and began my pedicure. She was nice an thorough. After I saw the time getting to the point of no return, I asked her to speed up the pedi because of my appointment. She complied but still managed to give me a massage, speeding up the pedicure but providing me with the full service. My pedi wasn't perfect but it was fine for what it was. I know for sure they took walk-ins before my pedicure which is why I was held up, unfortunately. Fast-forward to last weekend (Saturday) when I got a cute gel manicure. I picked out what I thought was the color black and when the tech applied the first coat, it was red. When I asked why it wasn't black, the tech next to us explained that it's actually the color "Wiccan" and is not actually black. That's something they should probably tel customers before they choose the color by number, in a book. Luckily, my tech was able to find the correct color and apply that instead. I loved how my nails looked but unfortunately, they did not last past Wednesday. That's 4 days that my gel manicure lasted which is ridiculous. I don't operate he's u machinery. I wear gloves at work and I only work 1-2 days per week. There's no reason a gel manicure should only last 4 days before chipping. It's ridiculous considering you're exposing yourself to UV light in order to have the polish set and then it doesn't even last as long as a regular manicure. One star is generous. Not to be stereo typical but overall Asians are not the most friendly people, especially the ones that work and run nail salons. I walked into the salon no one acknowledged me after standing there for two or three minutes the owner asked me what I wanted to do. He did not look up or make eye contact. I told him I needed a Fill in and gel polish and I was still hopeful. After he realized I was going to be doing my nails, he was a little more polite. I then found out that they did not do acrylic filling so I had to settle for powder and gel. By the time he asked me what type of filling I needed, had already been there for 15 minutes. I was charged $55 for my filling and gel polish which is above the price range for that same service in the area, I normally pay $35 for way better work. My nails were not shaped or polish correctly, I was very disappointed. Overall this nail salon is a hole in the wall, I would go for a basic manicure but nothing else. Never been here walked in, got a gel pedicure and a regular full set of acrylic tips (no color gel) BOTH 90$ the pedicure seemed okay until I let my 3 yr old niece paint my toes thinking it will come off with out a problem, but no. My white toes now had purple swirls on my white gel pedicure. Not only that but THREE nails came off 2 days later from my full set. And now I'm on vacation in Miami looking for a nail salon. I'm not a negative person, maybe it was a one time thing. I thought my nails did look great at first. I went here twice, they moved! The lady's that work here are awful at customer service. The owner is a jerk and doesn't care about the customer at all. I've been here twice since they moved. When they were across the street they actually treated their customers with respect. They moved and everything's changed they don't give a sh*t about their customers. The first time I made an appointment for 4pm. The woman had me wait over a half hour and then sat me with a woman who didn't ask anything she messed up my toe nails and cut too short. They changed her out and someone else started working on me. With NO COMMUNICATION... I didn't leave until after 7pm for a 4pm appointment. It's unacceptable they ignored me and left me hanging. I left a generous tip in good faith for the next time. The second time I attempted to make an appointment the owner hung up on me. This third time I walked in. They had me wait(which was fine) for about 10 min. Then they sent me to seat 7. Several ladies walked by, two of them were told to attend to me, one in Spanish flat out said no. And they left me there for 30 minutes. One lady came over took off my existing toe polish and walked away. I sat there another 10 minutes. Several ladies weren't busy but wouldn't attend to me. I got up dried my feet off and packed up. I asked the owner "how much for the polish removal?" He said nothing. I said okay I waited over a half hour with no service this is unacceptable and he's said sorry but his attitude and demeanor was rude and condescending. He didn't care and made it obvious. Then he had the nerve to tell me I should've made an appointment. I told him last time I made an appointment I was there over 3 hours and he was like, "sorry" however he was rude and curt and NEVER ONCE looked me in the eyes. He didn't care. The co-owner sat there laughing. I don't know what was so funny. But I'm not amused by sh*tty customer service. This business deserves ZERO stars read more

I was here last week to get an SNS powder. I waited because I wanted to make sure they stayed on before giving this review. New to the area, I've been finding it incredibly difficult to find a good nail spot. Found this place after reviewing some other reviews on Yelp. This place is kind of on all the small side. And it definitely is kind of quaint; this did not speak to my bougie side but I decided to give it a try anyway. The woman who did my nail, Young, did a great job and wore a name tag. This was helpful since I now know who I need to ask for when it comes time to come back. Young was meticulous, kind of rough at times but nothing too crazy. In the end my nails looked great and she gave me a quick massage, just like my old place used to do. While they were a little higher ($45) than I used to pay ($30), I'm willing to pay the difference because it's cheaper than going to a place where they do a crap job for less but then you have to come back in less than two weeks. During my visit today I now realize why many salons have a no children allowed policy. Walking up to the door to enter today I see the cutest two children in the doorway. It took a few minutes until I was able to enter the door because I had to tap the door and say "excuse me" several times before they acknowledged me. They eventually moved to the side but not before the littlest one sucked his teeth and rolled his eyes at me LOL. Mom of course - who ever she was - never said a word. In fact every time a customer entered or exited these children had a rude comment ready SMH. I personally was not above moving these rude little boys out of my way so I - a paying customer could sit down. I wish I would stand while they play all over the seats meant for customers to sit. Their dislike of me was clearly etched on these children's face as I instructed them to allow me space to sit instead of their toys. As soon as I moved them other customers grabbed a seat - scaredy-cats! I still didn't hear a word from mom but by now I wanted her to say something because I had to chastise them more then once. The salon is quite small. But with little children playing all the over as if they were in a play ground made the place feel very cramped today. First and foremost, the young lady Claudia who handled my spa pedicure was good. I had no issues with her customer service or services provided. Where the establishment got me effed up is thinking I was paying $180 for a color gel and a spa pedi. I was a walk-in and when I called & they were happy to accommodate me. Cool. Appointment was at 11:45am and I didn't leave until 3:17pm.m, but that's neither here nor there. I SPECIFICALLY said I had to have a gel removal on both feet and nails and I only wanted a COLOR gel for both. Now I know there's a language barrier, however, UV & COLOR gel can't possibly sound similar. The young lady Santa who was providing the color gel manicure service, never asked what type of service I wanted. I volunteered that information, jus because I didn't want what happened to happen. When everything was done, she LIED and said I told her I wanted a UV gel. No ma'am. Then I see all these additional charges as I'm ready to pay. Granted, the service wasn't bad but the fact that she lied is why I will never go back to this establishment. I was warned by several people that the owner/Manager tries to overcharge if they think you're stupid or have some money. Lesson learned. I did NOT pay the $180. Those extra charges were removed, but NEVER again. It's not about the money. It's the principle. Having your staff lie to get more money is not good business. Shame on you Santa. read more

The best pedicure anyone can ask for! Every penny is worth it, they do such a great job! I got to Jessica and I always call in advance for an appointment. As soon as you get in the seat you and are ready to go. They give your feet and legs an exfoliating massage and a massage with lotion. Then when there done they give u a shoulder/back massage as you are drying your feet. They even offer to give you a little personal kit for $5 that come with a buffer, nail file and pumice. I found perfect nails through google search as I was looking for a nail salon close to me plus the reviews. I usually have my natural nails long and I add some acrilic to it. When I first called the lady who took my appointment then clarified that When I call I have to say refill. She was gentle when she explained me. On the third time, I called and a guy picked up, I asked for a new set of acrylics and he responded that the salon does not work with acrylics. They charge waaaay too much for UV gel fills and they do a bad job, too. Your nails will lift the next day and you'll get an attitude if you go back to fix them. I went there for several years and loved the pedicures until I got a bad infection 3 years ago in my 2 big toes after one of the guys who works there (he answers the phones) tried to remove my ingrown toenails. I had to go on antibiotics and have a Podiatrist cut out the infection. I could hardly walk. Plus the design I got smudged but the time I got home.... And it was gel... I've never (EVER!) had gel smudge.... That actually was not that bad at all but still 25 dollars for a pedicure???? That's absurd for a rinky dink salon in Yonkers. I can pay the same on the upper east side of manhattan where I work. Plus, I'm used to getting a pedicure and the polish being super shiny. This top coat was either cheap or just ineffective because it was barely shiny at all. But this last time (and when I say the last time I truly, truly mean it) was just horrendous. I actually only came to this place because the place I wanted to go had a crazy long wait. Either way, when I get there I was pretty much ignored for a while before someone called me to a table, I was getting a new acrylic set. Long story short when I got home four of my fingers were burning and I was bleeding from my cuticles!!! Two days later my cuts have scabbed over and I'm just super pissed. Looks can be deceiving because it's crammed in and not very "spa looking" but it is one of the best nail places I have been too. A friend had recommended this place to me so I went to check it out and have been back ever since. I will actually go out of my way back to Yonkers, specifically for a pedicure here because it's the best! Pedicures start at $25 but it's worth it. The girls spend a lot of time massaging your legs and feet and and whatever other magic they do, I just leave there feeling refreshed. Even if they are busy, each pedicurist/manicurist take their time. They have 100 different color gel shades, 100!! I've had to wait, especially Friday nights seems to be a peak time so I know better now and don't go then. But I don't mind waiting 10-15 minutes, trust me, it's worth it. And they take appointments. Some comments I've read about it being sanitary... Just my thought, I've observed other nail salons and they do they same thing, meaning using the same utensils with customer after customer and these are "spa looking, trendy" places. So I guess it's a chance you have to take where ever you go. If it's a problem, bring your own stuff to be on the safe side. Tried this place by reading previous reviews on Yelp. I've been on a quest to find the perfect pedicure & can say I found it here! Finally! It's a no frills space with meter street parking. Narrow salon with lots of pedicure chairs and technicians. The basic manicure is equivalent of what you'd get with a speciality one. My nail tech, Rosa, took her time & didn't rush anything. I got full service experience with a too die for, extra long exfoliation massage & then a cream massage! My cuticles were cut perfectly and she was thorough & gave a nice polish job. I could finally say I relaxed in a salon. Crowded but organized. The owner was all over the salon making sure everything was great & customers were happy. The atmosphere was a bit shabby with older chairs, manicure tables, floors & decor but who cares!!! Overall experience...fantastic & I'll be back. read more

I had to come in after seeing the 5 star reviews. They have parking, which is convenient even though it is limited. I really like the pedicures in here. The pedicures are 4 stars. The girls are sweet and gentle, but they get the job done. However, I don't like the manicures. I had the manager/owner do mine while I sat in the chair getting a pedicure and my nails were uneven. She glopped on the polish so I got those air bubbles all over. So as psycho as it is, I sometimes come here for a pedicure and somewhere else for a manicure. Psycho, yes, but you do what you gotta do. The other thing I don't like is that the drying station is quite small, and the chairs are not rolling office chairs. They are chairs with metal legs you have to drag across the carpet. The girls get you seated, but it's easy to mess up your nails. They should just buy 5 $20 Ikea rolling chairs and be done with it. read more
