With the New Management, this laundromat has now a "Touch of Class" newly repaired Restroom with nice flooring, new machines are being installed, walls are painted with white which make it appear really clean, floor is always clean. They have new wooden chairs at the lobby which make the customers feel relaxed while washing and drying clothes. Try it for yourself! read more

We moved to the area and needed to wash our duvet, pillows and large jackets. This location is coin-op ONLY which is not advertised. They recommend you zelle someone in the office and they will give you cash which you then have to put into their change machine that spits quarters out to you and all over the floor. PRICES: $8.50 for their largest washers (90/91) 0.25¢/4 minutes for their largest dryers (11/12) We spend $23.75 to wash our bed sheets and pillows and a total of $9.00 drying everything. There is one designated eating area with three seats to be shared. There are drinks for sale (cans of soda) for $1.50 and instant noodles for $5 Overall I did not see any employees that were actively cleaning or helping people. This place is very self service with the exception of the bathroom--the attendant gave my partner a key and while he was using it another person walked in on him. I love laundromats, I usually look forward to visiting one because of how clean they are and how accessible they are. I was sorely disappointed with my most recent visit to the closest laundromat to our new place. read more

Cropley Laundromat - Laundromat Near Me - San Jose, California

Do not go here for laundry. They make you run a second load for cleaning because they have no cleaning supplies of their own. I looked for any signs for not washing pets stuff with our laundry and there were non. After we washed our loaded our wash the staff came out and asked us to run a second full load $9 because there were pet hairs. NO signage, nothing posted about us having to clean the laundry machine for them. Tell me if im correct but aren't owner are responsible for the maintenance of their machine? Be warned they scam you into paying their cleaning fees read more

I was really hoping that this would be my new go-to laundromat, but unfortunately, my experience here was not good. This location is closer to the laundromat that I usually go to which is a plus. Another added plus is that there are several dessert places in this plaza with an added bonus of having The Kickin' Crab in the same plaza! Location-wise, this is a very convenient place for me. Parking is decent and there are a few trees around if you want some shade to hide under. Another pro about this place is that it is fairly clean. They have a sink, but they had no more towels to dry your hands off with. I suspect it is because there aren't as many people at this location compared to the one I usually go to. Unfortunately, there are too many cons about Cropley Laundromat. They only have small carts to put your laundry in, so if you have a big basket, you'd have to put it sideways. I also noticed that there were multiple machines that were out of order and sure enough, one of the dryers I used didn't work. Even their soap dispenser was out of order! I lost 50 cents from dryer #21 because the coins were stuck and wouldn't go all the way down nor was I able to take them back out from the dryer machine. Unfortunately, dryer #21 wasn't labeled as "out of order." Another con about this place is that there is no staff inside to manage the laundromat in case something happens. Since it was only 50 cents, I didn't bother calling them, but the experience just didn't sit well with me. It would be great if they had a restroom in case you need to use it while waiting for your laundry, but this laundromat doesn't have one. This laundromat is a bit run down and the machines are old but overall clean. A big inconvenience I found was not being able to use pay using my credit card or contactless pay. All of their machines required coins. They do have a coin machine which you can exchange dollar bills with, but it would be nice to have more options of payment like some other laundromats. Another big turn-off was that the prices here are higher than the laundromat I go to. For example, the dryer here costs 25 cents/5min whereas the other place costs 25 cents/6 min. Their wash (same machine as the other place) costs $3.50/wash whereas the other place costs $2.50/wash. After weighing the pros and cons of Cropley Laundromat, I decided that this will not be my go-to laundromat. read more

I love this laundromat because it's very clean and the owner is really nice, super laid back and it's super close to where I live and it's not crowded God bless the owner who works hard to keep everything neat and clean I would highly recommend this place read more

Clean & plenty of parking. There's also places nearby to grab something to eat. All around good spot to get laundry done.

Half the machines don't work and all the supplies are gone or outages order and under new management nothing has changed u think it's gotten worse read more

Great place to do your laundry. Helpful employees and always there. A lot of new design dryer, bathroom is clean and they always trying to fix their machine. read more

Clean, convenient and open. I go during the week and I always find myself being able to do my mountain of laundry all at once. Love it!

This is the worst laundromat experience I've ever had. I'm visiting from out of town and this is the first laundromat that popped up. The customer service is terrible and the lady working here told me she has to charge for letting charge my phone wt. I'm don't with this place. PLEASE DO NOT COME HERE. GO SOMEWHERE ELSE. This place is a nightmare. read more

Extremely expensive and Roaches everywhere!!! I left as soon as I seen roaches. YUCK

Don't Wash here So first of all this was my first time at this laundromat and i instantly regretted it * Machines and place in general are very dirty and disgusting, the water doesn't even get filled all the way. * To Pricy The washers are Too Expensive * no one there to assist you Don't go here i promise read more

I don't use laundromats unless I'm washing something like a comforter, so I'm not there often. So I wouldn't expect myself to have a bad experience. I left my comforter in a dryer and napped (literally) in the front of the place so I could grab it when it was finished. I woke up less than 10 minutes the time that my clothes was finished and saw from my car one of the WORKERS was grabbing my laundry out the dryer. I run in to grab it from him and put it in my bag. Turns out, these customers NEEDED that specific dryer RIGHT at that moment. Few things: 1. DONT TOUCH PEOPLE'S LAUNDRY/CLOTHES. I literally paid $20 to get this cleaned and you're gonna grab my clean clothes with your dirty hands as if you didn't just clean the establishment. (Yes, the workers are constantly maintaining/cleaning the place.) I understand if it was sitting there for 30 min to an hour, but less than 10 minutes? Lol.... poor decision made by bad management. 2. As a customer, how bout you either WAIT for your dryer of choice to open or OR use another one like a normal, considerate human being? I don't get how the workers thought this was ok to do either. Anyway, take your business elsewhere if you don't like your clothes being handled by others! I don't :) read more

Not a good place to do laundry.. it's in a good location but I feel as though the owners don't see it's potential.. Too many outdated machines and broken ones on the side instead of disposing of it. The bathrooms can't be used. Dryers are too expensive. Had to pay $3 in quarters to dry clothes and I didn't even fill it to the full. The high heat is really at low. We used the large machines and it's $9 and at other laundromat we've tried it's only $5.50-$7.. This place was recommended by our friend so we tried. But we are not coming back it's too filthy. Air conditioning is busted as well so it wasn't comfortable to fold clothes and found a few pubic hairs on the tables.. ‍ read more

Reliable open on a holiday, it doesn't help that the machines are reliable. The dryer cost to much and and you'll spent $30.00 to wash 2 comforters. Temperature is horrible the laundromat is dirty missing ceiling tiles & water spots. Apparently there not putting money back into there business. read more

Okay, but a lot of the machines were down when I went in June. Of the 25 machines in the store almost ten were offline. A couple of the front-loading machines were available, but they cost ~$7 per load. Machines are coin operated, so be prepared with loose change or cash. read more

If I could give 0 starts I would. This laundromat is disgusting, run down, and straight trash! I would say 75% of the washers are broken and almost but near are all old. There was a man sitting down by the window not sure if he worked here or he was just someone sitting waiting for his laundry but he spit several times on the floor and no one said nothing!!!!!! Unsanitary to the max!!!!!!!!!!!!! Shut this place down!!!!!!! read more

I review with C.H.R.I.S Cleanliness. Hospitality. Returning. Improvements . Strengths [Cleanliness] 2/5 This place was not that clean. You could tell that it hasnt been clean in a while. There is dust on the corners of the walls. Signs that have been there for years. Signs that are torn up. You can see that they are there just to maximize their profits but not spend more investment on fixing the business. [Hospitality] 4/5 I talked to the people that run the business. They seem very nice and willing to help with any questions I might have. If the business was primarily rated by the people that work their, i would really like it. But unfortunately, it isnt. [Returning] 3/5 Since this place is REALLY close to my place. I would return here. The only reason I actually went to this Laundromat is because my Dry broke and not having clothes for almost a month means i need to look for the closest laundromat to my place. [Improvements] They need to spend more on cleaning their place. They can improve on the machines but what they have still get the job done. [Strengths] The location of the shop is very convenient and since it is the only one within 2-5 miles, it is the go to place to go. The people that work their seems to be friendly and enjoying what they do. Another thing they do offer is drop off laundry, meaning that you can drop off you laundry and they will wash it and EVEN FOLD them for you!. WHat a neat service is that! read more

Pipes broke down and i didn't have clean clothes, which called for a trip to the closest laundromat to my home. I don't really expect much coming to a laundromat. Walking in, i was reminded of the episodes of Friends where Rachel and Ross had a laundromat date. Similarly to in the show, no one was particularly happy in there sitting around waiting for their laundry to finish. Oh well. What more can you ask for. A bunch of machines to wash and dry your clothes. Being that i haven't been to a laundromat before, i was kind of lost when i first came in. Here are some helpful tips for other newbies! As of today (08.01.16), the price for: - detergent/fabric softener: $1.00 - cycle on the WASHER: $3.00 (30 minute cycle) - cycle on the DRYER: $0.25 per MINUTE I was little surprised by the pricing for it, but when it comes down to really needing clothes washed, i can't complain much. Reading some reviews, i can imagine how people who regularly use a laundromat would be upset about pricing. Make sure you have a lot of quarters handy! read more

This place has been here for ages and when I have blankets or large laundry to be washed. You can count on Cropley Laundromat. The place is clean and well kept witch is a plus. It's been a while since I last visited this place but for the Large machine it's $4.75 and they have another machine witch they charge $4.00 I am guessing it's the next size down from the biggest washer. The dryers cost 25cents for a 7 minute cycle. That's not to bad and if you forgot to bring your laundry supplies well it's gonna cost you 50 cents to buy a sample size box of soap or fabric softener. Also they have drop off's also where you can drop your laundry and pick it up later. I don't know how much the charge for that it though. Well thanks Cropley Laundromat for being so well kept and close to home :D read more

No the best place to do your wash, a lot of homeless hangout there and they are kinda expensive for a laundromat.

CLOSED AND LOCKED MY CLOTHES IN STILL WASHING. IT isn't even 8pm yet and I went to switch my laundry from washer to dryer and the doors are locked and lights are off. I've tried calling their number numerous times and it's only a magic jack number. This is some bullshit this place needs to be shut down for poor business read more

My Ratings: Quantity: 4 - Lots of machines Quality: 3 - Good enough Price: 2 - Pricey for a large machine Location: 3 - Good Parking: 3 - Parking lot Service: 2 - Nice Speed: 2 - I was rushing Overall: I would probably take my king-size comforter here again. My Opinion/Story: My dog puked on my comforter and my washing machine can't handle the large size so I had to search for a big one close by. I picked their biggest machine and loaded $5 to wash my comforter. Then another $3 to dry it. Let's just say I put away my comforter for good and I'm using two blankets ,that can fit my machine, instead. read more

Used to come here all the time for laundry up until they started raising prices like crazy. I came in today only because I needed something close to my place so I could do a last minute wash before going to the airport. Omg I can't believe how much is being charged for machines here now! $2.50 for the older washer machines, $3.00 for the newer standard size machines, and I'm pretty sure I see $8 for a large machine! Who even has the money to waste to do their laundry here? This area is not on the richer side, since it's mostly low income apartments. So who comes here?! Lol. And coming in this morning, A LOT of their machines are down. Some even have towels rolled up underneath to soak up any water. Anyways, the low rating is based on their pricing of machines. It's crazy! However, the place isn't dirty, so I'll give them that. But, wow how things can change in a couple years lol. read more

I have been having a horrible experience every single time that I go to this laundromat, the manager is a greedy, nieve, person. The machines are old and take your money and they don't refund you wich I think is insane. I don't recommend this place to anyone if you have another place to wash I advise you to do so. I am a unhappy customer read more

Came here a few times due to emergency (laundry machine breakdown). They have enough number of washers but many driers did not work. Also no air conditioning. Sometimes the coin dispensing machine didn't work. read more

A good number of washing machines, dryers, heavy duty washers, a couple of video games to keep the kids occupied and a couple of vending machines. At $1.75 per washload, might be a bit more than usual, but I don't mind paying because this is one of the few laundromats in the area that's actually very clean and decent. The higher priced wash probably deters the unsavory from coming here which is a good thing. If you've been to the other laundromats in the area, you'd understand what I'm referring to. Too many scummy people makes a laundromat scummy/scummier. No apologies here because that's the damn truth. read more

This place is terrible. I thought I'd save a couple of dollars over the place I usually go, but I regret it. The place is very ratty and dirty, and the people in it suit the place. The owner was there and was very helpful, but that doesn't change the fact that it's a shit hole. At my usual laundromat, I run my drying for 30 minutes and everything comes out dry. Ran it for 28 minutes here and it felt like the drier had barely done a thing. Just pulled on a very wet t-shirt this morning after leaving all of my laundry hanging to air dry some more. The guy also recommended adding way more of my HE detergent than I normally do and told me that I need more if I want my clothes clean... Not sure if he just doesn't understand HE detergent, or his machines are just shitty. Ugh, not worth the attempted savings at all. Also has warnings everywhere not to leave your clothes unattended. I'm sure the signs are necessary, too. read more

No bad, $4.75 to wash a load and got free 2nd hand contact of some sweet pakalolo from da homies out in front.

I've come here regularly to do my laundry for 6 months now. Washing is $3.00 a load, dryer is $0.25 for 5 mins, all payable in quarters. There is a machine that converts dollars to quarters. The whole place is fine. I lost money in a washer that didn't work once, but I suppose it just happens. My laundry always comes out clean. I never feel unsafe there. Sometimes I wait indoors, but if it's crowded I wait in my car or go next door and get ice cream. read more

Very friendly and clean, owner make the laundry job relax and enjoy. and the price is reasonable. Only $1.75 for small machine. $4.75 or 4:00 for larger machine. read more

The new owner of this place is money sucker soon as he took over the place he increased the amount to .50 cents per load right away without any notice. The new owner are father and son, the father was saying that the reason why they increase the price is because the rent went high, yeah right! what a co-incidence. The father was blaming his son of the price increase because the son wants to make profit. ( I guess right away) All the machines are old big and small, dryer take too long to dried up the load. I will not recommend to friend or family to go to this place. I don't even give one star to this place. read more

Nice place. Friendly staff. They stayed open for me even past 9:30pm and I was the only one there. They even helped me out since I wasn't familiar with some of the machines. read more

I had some laundry done via drop off, and they wrecked 2 of my expensive shirts. I had specifically asked to not have them ironed, and they obviously did iron them which wrecked the material. There were burn marks in the exact shape of an iron on the pockets of the shirts. These shirts retailed for $60, so I lost $120.00 just by going to this laundromat. Then, when I went back to talk to them about it, they denied it and said that I had to come back the next day to talk to the manager. When I did that, they said that the manager was not there again, and that he was sleeping in the middle of the day. I asked for my money back, but they denied that they had any money on site (which was obviously a lie). More importantly, their attitude was very poor and rude. I would never go there again. read more
