I've recently started coming here and the ladies Alex & Lennah always are happy and the atmosphere is great! I will continue to support them and local business. read more

the chairs keep me from coming back. beer is good events are nice. the chairs are terrible.

Crooked Run makes some of the most delicious and unique beers in the area. I really like their taproom at both the Sterling and Leesburg locations- they are very comfortable and clean with friendly and knowledgeable staff. The Sterling location is also home to Señor Ramon, which makes the best tacos in the area in my opinion. Tacos + Craft beer are a match made in heaven. read more

I've been coming here the better part of a year and they never disappoint. The atmosphere is incredible and the beers are sublime. I could drink verdant force on the porch until I passed out, and whoever runs their merch team is a genius. Honestly the one of the best breweries in the area, and the prices are reasonable as well! read more

Cool place to hang out. There are tons of outdoor seating options including little firepits. Beers are pretty solid as well. A lot of unique flavors. read more

This is a great spot to kick back after a long day, or relax on the weekend! The Best Days and Peach Habanero Storm were both great brews. There's a ton of seating both indoors and outdoors, so you're bound to find a spot to sit and stay awhile! The taco shop right inside the brewery is a great addition, too - great tacos with a lot of variety for $3 - $4 apiece. read more

Cute spot! It has some outdoor seating, 2 fire pits, decent inside portion with bar and taco bar. Great location off the highway. Food on site is clutch! Hipsters welcome. Decent beer selection! Definitely worth checking out read more

Crooked run is a solid spot. Not used to seeing a brewery in an office park since I live in Charlotte and they are all in warehouses or old industrial buildings. However I really liked the place. Staff was extremely nice which I feel like is usually a hit or miss and most often a miss at breweries these days. Its cool how they somewhat share the space with a taco shop and a cocktail bar. Nothing is better than being able to walk around with more options. Vibes were good, I came with my sugar mama and we had a place to sit down and chat. Also would be good for bigger groups. They had a stage set up so I know they do live music which is always a big plus. Overall 5 stars. No complaints. Will be back w/ my sugar mama. read more

This brewery is fun! They have a taco joint inside as well. They rotate their beers but have a couple sours as well. The best is the Raspberry Empress and now they have a limited edition Skittles flavored sour. Both are really good. read more

I really like this brewery! I have tried them a few times now and drank a bunch of their beers. I also like that they have an attached taco/nacho place. #1 beer when i went was Intemperate, an Imperial DIPA #2 beer is Apricot Heart and Soul. A great spot to grab a beer! read more

I love this micro brewery! They have a great variety of beers and great little activities to pass the time (board games/ beer magazines/ card games). There also a taco stand/restaurant connected to the brewery. Makes the place smell so good. Definitely would come again! It's also located on the side of the building, so it might be a little tricky to find. read more

I really liked this place. The guys working there were really helpful and welcoming. Missing a star because of a couple of reasons. There was not enough seating, that's a big part. We came before dark on a Friday and we had to stand even though the place was not crowded. It looked like there was more than enough room for more tables or chairs even at the bar. It's hard to hang out without a place to sit! Another part of the lack of a star was due to the fact that we weren't crazy about some of the beers we had in our flight. They started off exciting and left a flat taste in our mouth. Regardless I don't mean to put this place down. It was a lot of fun, I just want a reason to spend more than a half an hour next time we come around. read more

Good drinks and cool people. Jared is just awesome. He is always ready to hand you a nice cold beer with a smile on his face. He is also a good conversationalist! read more

Great beer selection. Friendly staff, even during COVID they seem to be organized and on top of their service. Plenty of seating areas. One of my favorites in the area! read more

Came here on Saturday evening and it was awesome, as always! They changed up their tables inside which made for a little more room because this place can get busy! As per usual, we got tacos, this is probably one of the reasons we frequent crooked run is they have awesome beer and great tacos. We always bring our out of town friends and family here and it never disappoints! read more

Solid brewery, overall I thought the beer was quite good. I was not a fan of their hefeweisen, but enjoyed the Time & Tide farmhouse IPA and the Charm (Birthday Cake). Charm is a too sweet to drink more than one, but it's a nice dessert-beer to finish the night. Ambiance is very casual and low-key. Outdoor seating is nice, although it is small and fills up in nice weather. Having Senor Ramon tacos in the same building is a definite bonus. read more

This brewery has a very relaxed and chill vibe. The taco place that's built in to this place is amazing! We had the best tacos alongside very good beer. Very friendly atmosphere and very inviting. I've seen people bring their own food in and it's perfectly fine. read more

The food (Senor Ramon) is basically an indoor Mexican food truck, but slower and more expensive. They were out of 2 of 4 of their sandwich choices by 7pm. The sandwich I got, the Pampero, was OK but very messy. The beer from the Crooked Run bar was pretty good. read more

I am impressed with the selection and real flavors jumping off my tongue, the sours, the vanilla in the stout, the serrano in the IPA... a wide range of brewing prowess is going on here... ABV runs from 6.5 to above 10 and they have growlers... did I mention they have a taco joint in the brewery? Lite and heavy fare on the menu from turtle food to serious Mexican carnivores (chorizo/tongue/steak/chicken)... lunch and dinner and beer!!! read more

This is one of our favorites. We used to go to their "baby brewery" in downtown Leesburg and were excited to find out they were expanding to a bigger location. Typical office-park location, but they spruced it up with an outdoor patio, picnic tables and a fire pit. It's not a huge open warehouse type brewery, but more of a large bar along one side and dining room area in the rest with high-tops, tables and additional bar seating (similar to Lost Rhino's). They share the space with a Mexican counter-service restaurant called Señor Ramon Taqueria, which is actually very good. They have gatorade/Mexican sodas/water, etc. and a great menu of street tacos +. You order and pickup from the counter using pagers. read more

Not only is there finally a local brewery open in the Herndon/Reston area, but there's a GREAT local brewery open in the area. Everything they had on draft was stellar. Lots of IPAs, some of the popular NE style, others laden with Mosaic hops or various New Zealand varieties. And partnering with a great Taco/Torta place (Senior Ramon) in the same space was brilliant. Random food trucks can be nice but here you know what you are getting into. Will definitely return here when in town next, and being only 5 minutes from IAD makes Crooked Run the perfect place to grab some tacos and a juicy IPA before heading to the airport. read more

Went to this brewery spontaneously with a few of the fellas after work one day. It may become a tradition! Seriously, we had a great time! We have been working some crazy hours, all of us are exhausted and hangry and cranky haha! This was a chance to loosen up a bit, laugh and enjoy one another's company. The staff were wonderful, super accommodating and patient while I tried to help my newbie friends with "how-to-brewery" lol. As it got closer to closing, I had a little more in depth convo with one of the staff about the local beer in the area, and other establishments. The history of Crooked Run, and other small talk convo. The overall experience was just great! My coworkers really enjoyed it, the beer was delicious! There's even a place to order some tacos! This place is doing great things! Excited to go back for the beer release and other events coming up! read more

Woohoo! As good as it gets! My new favorite brewery. Great beer - Verdant Force IPA (8.5% ABV) Service was ok. The servers were crazy busy when I was there. I'll be back to fill my growler. read more

If you're visiting Northern Virginia, add this brewery to your list of stops! They have a wide range of styles that are mostly on point while being innovative, from Berliner Weiss with fruit, vanilla, and milk sugars to boozy imperial stouts. Good amount of indoor and outdoor seating, and a delicious taqueria is attached if you're feeling hungry. Grab some cans, bottles, or a growler to take home with you. I was really impressed with their beers, and there was a steady stream of people coming in to pick them up. read more

Was in MD/VA area a few weeks back and wanted a non-chain place to eat. Fell upon a great non-chain food AND brewery! Had 3 different tacos (beef, chicken, pork) and all were great! And the beer was great too! As luck had it, as a bonus, it was an open night mic, and 4 of the 6 comedians were really good too! read more

The service and space are both great. Despite the space/atmosphere being really great, it seems a lot of people think so because it is sooooo crowded! I did love the beers I tried/had! As an IPA/Pale Ale fan I was especially satisfied. This place would be 5 stars if it weren't so uncomfortably crowded for a little while. The space is used/decorated well, and I'm sure in better weather the outside area they have is perfect for enjoying a couple of beers (and probably tacos). read more

Great beer options and a quiet, dog-friendly location. Great concept being co-located with a bar and two food options. The non-beer drinkers in our group had several other choices. We had an awesome time! read more

I will start this 5star review by letting everybody know that I've been sober for sometime now, and am only writing this reflecting the atmosphere and experience... not the beer(I know , it's a brewery). Always a crowd, always a blast. Our latest visit was out on the patio, a big group of us around the firepit. I love going here because it is bar service, when you need a drink... go get one. No waiting for a server you may never see again, no being hassled by the server too excited to do their job. It's a nice change. Recently the neighboring storefront opened up with a pass through, my wife has loved this... she doesn't drink beer, so this opened a whole new bar opportunity. Wow just wrote a review talking about how we don't spend money at the place, great. Staff is always amazing. Parking sucks. I'll be back in the next week probs. read more

Cool spot. Friendly staff. Tacos and beer, win win. Butttt the beers par for course. Nothing great, nothing terrible. Right in the middle as far as local breweries go. On a positive note I did like the heart and soul IPA 6.5% (zesty citrus IPA with yummy finish). The brewery is very nice though and I applaud the staff and ownership for such a great location/atmosphere! read more

This brewery taproom is pretty awesome. The beer list is pretty extensive and the beers are very well crafted. There are large tables for seating and there's a small taco stand inside the venue serving up some delicious finger food. I tried a full flight of beer and enjoyed everything. Their IPAs were all interesting and tasty. I found the style of their IPAs to be a tad sweet like plums and orange Sunkist candy. If this is your thing then head in over. The quality of the brewing though seemed to be on point, based on beer descriptions... I just don't tend to gear towards those flavor profiles. Overall having a built in taco stand, the large quality beer selection, and a large venue for big groups of friends- I though this place was great and definitely worth a visit. Bring a group of friends to judge the beer yourself. Even if you it's not your style you still tried some new beers, ate a few tacos and hung out with friends. Atmosphere: 4/5 Food/drink: 4/5 Cost: 5/5 Service: 5/5 Overall: 4/5 read more

I really enjoyed Crooked Run. I had a flight and loved every single beer! That rarely happens. Bought cans of true limes to take home and enjoy. Smaller space but lucky enough to find a table inside as well as a set of four chairs outside on the patio. Also ate nachos from the taqueria on-site. Delicious! Will definitely be back. read more

Beer, beer, beer! Crooked Run has it going! Came here for the first time and am duly impressed. This is a place with enough passion to brew their version of a barley wine (Honey Wine). I also tried and very crisp IPA called Pyramid Scheme. A definite A list player. Senior Ramon provides the cuisine with excellent tacos, nachos and tortas. The Cordero (marinated goat) tacos are the bomb! read more

I tried 3 beers: one good, one ok, one not very good. The food was pretty good. I was critical of the website for missing critical information and the General Manager was a condescending jerk. read more

It's good- but they should consider some basic changes to get it in line with other regional breweries. Better than Ocelot but not better than Lost Rhino or Old Ox. The music is just too loud for families. It's about the beer, not music. We've been twice and it's always way too much. The beer is good- not the best of local places, but good. Most of the beers on tap now are IPAs and it would be nice to have some variety. They could use some tables out back. Food is great- really good idea to pair with the taco place. Other places should consider the same. read more

This place has outstanding beer. Easpecially if you like ipas. They have their standard Heart & Soul, along with others that are great. For a relatively small brewery they have a lot more options than most in the area. The service/friendliness has definitely gotten better than when they first opened. The delicious tacos at senor Ramon's that's inside the brewery makes it one of our favorite places to go! read more

I've tried their beers twice. I could not finish the beers in my samplers either time. Really unpleasant flavors. Other people seem to love this brewery and that's cool.
