Awesome place. Has everything you could ask for food or drink wise. Has enough seating for big and large groups. I was just passing by town and it was a great stop for a short time. Tacos are kinda small so be prepared to get multiple. Seems like a well run place read more

The question is: what are you looking from your brewery experience? Are you looking for dogs and a nice patio? Are you looking to chat with whoever else is there, because dogs bring the world together? Are you looking for tacos? Do you have that friend who wants to come but doesn't like beer? Then this is your spot. Dogs. Patio. Tacos. Cocktails. You're all set. Also, self served pork to take home? They're really aiming to have...something...for everyone. I'm not even going to make the joke. read more

Overall, I liked this place a lot, and will definitely go there again. The location was a little strange to me. It's located in what I think is an office building, so I thought I was in the wrong place when I was driving there (but I wasn't). We were there on a Friday night so it was pretty crowded, and no tables were free when we arrived. We sat at the bar for a while until a table freed up. A live band was playing for a couple of hours that night, which we enjoyed. I really loved the beers at this brewery; definitely one of my favorites. I like IPAs and other hoppy beers, and their menu has a lot of beers that fit my taste. I had a flight of 6 beers, and liked them all-- even the Lemon Serrano IPA, which I only ordered because I was intrigued by the flavor combination. We also had some nachos from the taco bar. The food came out within 10 minutes even though it was busy, and it was a large portion-- we shared among 3 people, and didn't finish them. read more

Crooked Run is by far my favorite brewery in Loudoun County. They always have a great variety of beers and the fact that Senor Ramon's taqueria is here is a huge plus. Most of the breweries in the area do not serve food so you will have to rely on snacks like pretzels or them having a food truck which isn't always guaranteed. If you start here, you can get something to eat before you go on your brewery crawl and sample some tasty brews while you are at it. The releases are frequent and always very interesting - they don't have 20 IPA's like most places, a little bit of everything so there is something for everyone. They are very active on their social channels as well so you will know when something cool/interesting is happening. Prices are great too - they will give you a full or half pour. This year they also opened up a juice bar and a brunch place next door. Both are also a very nice addition to the place. read more

Fun, friendly and eclectic describe the venue for Crooked Run Brewery. The beers were good, not my selections as I am more of a chewy beer type (porters and stouts). But beers were fresh, crips and refreshing. Loved the decor and outside seating. We at at Ramon's Mexican but love the varied options on the other side. read more

Tucked away in the drab industrial park buildings of Sterling you will find this gem. The place was packed on a Saturday afternoon but we were able to find a table on the patio. A great selection of brews and all were delicious. I had two different IPAs. Brewtenders were friendly and able to give suggestions based on what I said I liked. Great brewery setting, huge patio, lots of seating. Highly recommend a stop if you're in the area or a detour if you're semi close. read more

I went to Crooked Run with my husband on 3/1/19. The brewery had come up in a conversation several times. I was looking forward to trying it. The brewery was very crowded when we arrived. I didn't anticipate their being a dinner crowd. (The brewery has an onsite restaurant.) We were lucky to find seating at the bar. The bartender(s) helped us rather quickly. Thou, it was a little tight at the bar space. Everyone in the crowd was polite. The beer was good. However, I didn't find anything outstanding. I tried all the beers in three (3) separate flights. Overall to me it felt like Crooked Run was more of place to be seen, rather than a brewery for the snobby craft beer drinker such as myself. In a nutshell, there is nothing wrong with Crooked Run Brewery but I didn't find anything outstanding either. read more

Made it to Crooked Run for Happy Hour with my coworkers for a few celebrations. Great atmosphere! Clean, fun and options for food with Senior Ramons and Daybreak Kitchen both attached. Great outdoor patio (too cold for us to try it out). Great, easy location to get to as well. Good beer selection, something for everyone (except the night we were there). This is the reason I can't give them 5 stars. They were out of a few of the basics for the simple palettes. Must have been a busy weekend! Staff was super friendly and very helpful in describing the beer and helping you decide what you might like. When we left, Bingo was about to start. It appears they have lots of activities/entertainment on different nights. They also have a great large screen so you won't miss any important sports! I would recommend! read more

Great beer, lots of space and tacos! The place has a very chill vibe, lots of parking and the beer menu has something for everyone. The red kolsch and seek truth were my favorite. I was very impressed with the flight display and had to get it! You can try up to 6 different beers with the flight. The service was mediocre but not bad. The workers didn't really seem to pay too much attention to the customers but it might have been an off day. If you have a tab open at the bar, you have to go get your card to purchase food at the taqueria (which was a little inconvenient). Price is standard for craft beer in the area. Overall, fun place for a chill evening with some good beer. Enjoy! read more

The atmosphere at this place is great. The beer wasn't exactly my taste, but they had plenty of hard seltzers and even an orange slushee. The beers were mostly sours and IPAs. read more

Very cool setup: brewery - Crooked Run, a cocktail bar - Nectar, and the best taco place in the area - Senior Ramon. Excellent hang out place, with a good variety of beers: from the popular Raspberry Empress to seasonal specialties. Highly recommend! read more

I came here for a beer tasting for a friend's pre-wedding celebration. We tried five beers and were to help choose the one they'd serve at the wedding. I readily and embarrassingly admit I do not recall exactly which ones we tried because we had chosen only a few from the list and they were numbered 1-5 (I liked 2 and 5). They also had us try a seasonal raspberry but we all found it too sour and tasted like grapefruit, not raspberry, as described. I loved the taqueria inside-Señor Ramon's: my review on that is posted separately on their page. I don't like IPAs, which rules a lot of microbrews out for me. They're too hoppy for my taste, in general. I would definitely come back here again, especially for the food and I'd like to try a few more beers. read more

Must make it back for the tacos, empanadas and biscuits to enjoy with my fruited gose. Flavorful beer menu. Fruited IPA, West Coast IPA's and on and on. Of our three beer stops this had to be my favorite. read more

Great service. IPA's we're too light, floral, and farm house style for my liking. Good atmosphere and prices.

I was so excited to finally go to this brewery! I've had their IPAs before and loved it. They also have a great little Taqueria in the brewery. There are a ton of food options on the menu. It is a pretty large space, but it was super packed! Luckily, people were leaving as we were getting ready to sit down though. I ordered a flight of five beers and liked all of them. I got the Friendship IPA, Never You, Heart & Soul, Double Edge, and Best Days. I also got a sip of the Raspberry Sour and was not a fan at all. But, I personally just don't like sour beers so it's just a personal preference! My friend loved it though. It is a really great location with tons of parking too so you shouldn't have any trouble with that! Love this brewery a lot! read more

In town for a conference and was told I had to check out Crooked Run. Being a lover of beer adventures, I obediently followed the directive. YUM!! I had a few of their IPAs (Only You & Double Vibes). Perfect hazy IPA selection and a super fun taco spot too. Cool vibe, great crowd of locals. This AZ girl is a huge fan. Highly recommend. . read more

Come visit my Art Show the Month of January 2018. You will love this place from the intimate environment to the ever changing variety of IPA's, Beers, Stouts (my fav) and Sours. When you throw in a Restaurant on the premises that just makes it a fun spot to come visit. There is rotating Art displays to check out, games, and MUSIC!!! When it gets warmer the beer garden will welcome you. A very eclectic experience with creative and talented Hosts who made most of the tables and the cool bar top, attention to detail in every direction. So creative and a fun place. read more

Without a doubt, this craft brewery location is a must visit. The expansion and new location of craft beer staple in downtown Leesburg has hit a home run. I went on a Friday night and the place was hopping, but not too crowded. The Lemon Serrano IPA is complex and refreshing, and the Revenge Stout has a chocolate and pepper kick. Super interesting and a must try. Crooked Run also teamed with Senor Ramon Taqueria, which serves up fresh and yummy authentic Mexican. Once the word gets out, this place may be impossible to get into! read more

Experience was horrible. They had this 5 year anniversary? And the lady in the front was rude AF. Probably won't ever be going back here. It was something like you have to buy your tickets for your beer and food. One ticket was half a cup. And it was the tiniest cup, I kid you not. I'm sure they're not bad on a regular day, but this "special" day was no bueno. I did LOVE this one vendor where it was OYSTERS! I forget where they came from but they were out of this world. read more

I am on vacation in from Buffalo, NY. We visiting family. My wife and I were taken here by her cousin. This place was very fun. There was a place to hang out inside or outside. We sat inside because of 90 degree temperatures outside. Inside had a great vibe and plenty of selection of IPAs and other craft beers. I tried three of the beers on the menu and enjoyed them all. The brewery is connected to a good street taco restaurant as well. I had three barbacoa tacos. They were really good. My wife and I had a really nice time here and would recommend this place to anyone who is in the area. read more

NoVA is turning into such a dope beer destination! Had to make the drive from Maryland to Dulles, so used the trip to do a little brewery hopping as well. More than a few w/ in a short drive of Crooked Run. Loved my visit here. Great beers, creative and well executed. Many types of styles to try. Cheap flights. Fantastic service. Fun vibe and enjoyable decor. Cool swag. Tasty little taqueria (great hot sauces) nestled inside. I will be back! Drink local! read more

Four and a half stars for the beer. One and a half stars for their vinyl night. Allow me to elaborate. Every Thursday night, this brewery spares us of the countless boring cover bands that are around this area, and has a vinyl night. Customers are encouraged to bring their vinyl in. Great idea, right? Well the execution could be better. First off, staff plays their vinyl first. So even if you're first on the list, you have to wait until the staff plays their (mostly terrible) vinyl. The staff could play their vinyl an hour before the vinyl night officially starts, but that makes too much sense. And seeing how popular vinyl night is, perhaps have it more than once a week? Maybe you'd save some money too since you won't have to pay these cover bands so much for them to play their versions of songs you never need to hear again before you die, like Margaritaville and Brown Eyed Girl. Great idea - more breweries should do vinyl night. But poor execution. But back to the beer: It's usually great. The stand by is Heart and Soul IPA, one of the best in Loudoun County. The tacos are fantastic. The staff is usually friendly and energetic. PS, the Crooked Run location in downtown Leesburg is a completely different experience. They tried their own vinyl night on Thursday night but it was a bit of a flop. Plus the turntable was not working right. read more

unique friendly environment with great selection of Drafts of all preferences. My boy Vic is a regular and introduced a group of us , i also like that the crowd is all professional cats , but it seems like all of us are just a little cooler then the Dorky late 30 something at your bar that hasnt evolved with the times. I also love that it's always busy but we never wait for drinks ?? basically if this isn't your new bar , your probably drinking alone and eating the unsanitary bar nuts at Dave's Dive read more

Cool, chill vibe with a taqueria inside. Beer was good (tried two different IPAs). Not the biggest brewery space, and outside wasn't huge (located in an industrial office park) but is the type of brewery I prefer (opposed to a brewpub environment). I did like the big windows and that it was bustling with people but we could still get a seat. All the employees were very nice! I would come back for one of their live music or event nights. read more

Crooked Run has been able to transition their business to pick up only during the time of COVID-19. It's quite easy. They post their menu online and in social media off their offerings. You drive up to their building and order curbside. Payment is completed through debit/credit card. Your beer is placed in your trunk for a no contact delivery. I appreciate their efforts and can't wait to have a drink in their taproom soon. read more

This is my first time at Crooked Run and it was absolutely stellar. The beer was lovely, I am not a beer person but it was not too strong or harsh. The service was really great, Michael was so kind and attentive. My glass was never empty, and he offered me loads of recommendations that matched my palette. He was also very knowledgeable with European wines and beers which helped immensely. I am definitely grateful for the experience, because now I consider myself a beer person. Cheers Michael, greatly appreciate you. read more
