I took my car to Crone's because the dealership was further than I really wanted to drive and because I heard great things about them. Got my car back and was actually surprised at what an awesome job they had done. My car requires a special kind of paint job - White Diamond Tricoat: three totally different types of application in order to be perfect. It is so unique that you can NOT buy a touch up paint for it. So I was concerned that they may not get the paint matched up exactly right [I'm very picky about things like that : ) ]. But to my surprise it was absolutely perfect! Could not be happier with these folks. I definitely will go back to them if I ever need anything done again. I am so very impressed with my entire experience. My teenage son got rear-ended, for the second time (I know). I called our normal body shop in Florence and after three unanswered calls decided to try somewhere new. After one ring to Crones, I made an appointment to bring the car in the next day, Friday, for an estimate. After a mild freakout and a VERY long step by step run down of my sons weekend plans, I decided it was necessary to reschedule. The employee was extremely understanding, even though they had a full schedule for Monday, he said they could squeeze me in. He also gave me info for a rental car if I was going to leave it. When I dropped the car off, a mechanic came out and spent some time looking at the damage and answered my questions. Coolest thing ever. As soon as the estimate was completed, I received a text message with a link to all the paperwork and a completion date! Now my teenager can plan out the longest 8 days he has ever had. lol. The estimate was extremely easy to read and the repair costs were SIGNIFICANTLY lower than what I was charged 5 months earlier for the same parts/same repair at a different shop in Florence. Everything was replaced with OEM parts. I received updates via text and could go to the link at anytime and see specifically what they were working on. They finished the car 3 days early! I gave them a call to verify that the car was ready for pick up that Friday, they told me to come on by and the rental car company will come to them and pick up the rental. It was all so easy. The rear end looks brand new! It looks better than before the accident. There was a few places after the first accident that I could tell a repair was made, not anymore! They did a fantastic job. Everyone I spoke to was professional and friendly. I go to get into the car and they fixed the broken door handle! This is a 17 year old boys first car, I did not pay for a detail, the inside of the car was completely spotless and it smelled like actual flowers! I am so impressed with this shop! read more

My car came back with low air in the tires and dirty fingerprints all over the upholstery. The work took very long and they didn't inform me of the status of my car or anything regarding it. They had my car done for over a month, while I thought I was waiting on a part to be manufactured. They claimed to have called multiple times, and after I recieved my phone records and showed proof that they didnt, they became very rude and unprofessional. The owner, Andrew Crone also hung up on me multiple times after I accused him of lying about calling me. They are a very lazy and negligent business. read more

oUpdated Review: When I took my Lexus to Crone, my car not only had autobody damage, but mechanical damage one could readily hear. After the collision, it began making a noise that I had never heard. I kept up all my services, so before my accident, my car was in excellent shape. But after the boulder hit my car, my car began rumbling, whenever the heat was turned on. When Crone estimated my car, they didn't drive the car or assess the mechanical damage, just viewed the outside. I advised them of the mechanical noises, but Andrew assured me that they would do a complete diagnostic of the vehicle once they disassembled my Lexus. Andrew also assured me, after I repeatedly asked if they could fix a Lexus, that they could do all of the work, autobody and mechanical. He didn't check the mechanical issues out in my presence nor ask to hear the noise I described. But I told him that it was so loud, it was impossible not to hear, but he had to turn on the air to hear it. Unfortunately, when my car was returned, it was still making the same rumbling noise. Crone had failed to fix the mechanical damage to my car. I contacted Andrew. I then took it to Lexus, that confirmed that the bearings in my blower had been knocked loose. The blower is located inside the dash in the exact area my car was damaged. When I contacted Andrew in writing to notify him that my car had not been fixed, rather than acknowledge their failure, as he had already been paid by me and my insurance company, he failed to accept responsibility for his company's failure to fix the damage. Now, to cover their failings, they are attempting to negate the damage was there, but thankfully others were aware of the damage before I took it there. I would've taken my car to Lexus first, but they don't do autobody repair. When I called the claims adjuster about taking it to Lexus to have them assess the mechanical issues, before the repairs were made, he said they would only pay one company to do all the work. Andrew also threatened that if I removed my car, which they had disassembled, they wouldn't do the work. I was in a catch 22, so I left the car. Andrew was very disrespectful and rude to me as a woman. In hindsight, I should have never left my car, after he spoke to me so disrespectfully. But after contacting the claims adjuster, who has a relationship with Crone, I thought it would be safe. Wrong! I was already upset about how my car was returned to me, so much so that I couldn't go to sleep until I wrote this review. I expected to give them high marks for the work, until I got in the driver's seat and prepared to drive away from Crone's, went to turn on my satellite radio station and the button from my radio was missing off my Lexus. A big hole was literally where the original button should have been, and was, when I dropped it off at the front door. I wondered if it was retaliation because I was going to take my car. The button was not loose and had never been off. I was shocked to see a hole and couldn't believe it. But what really added insult to injury is that when I immediately went back inside and told Andrew that the button/knob was missing and took him to my car and pointed to it, his first response was they had no reason to touch the button, as if I made it up. Are you kidding me? Do you really think I am driving a Lexus with a radio button missing? Andrew immediately said he would replace it, but it really bothered me that he implied that my car must've come in that way, especially when I left my car with him initially when I dropped it off and gave him the key to move it. The very first thing I noticed when I opened my driver door, was that my cellphone holder, which is very sturdy, expensive, brand new and had recently been installed, was laying crumpled up on the dash. When I left my car at Crones over one week ago, the phone charger was firmly attached to the dash, and sitting upright on the dash, which is why I didn't take it with me. I really wanted to take it, but it was affixed to my car. Someone literally ripped it off the dash, crumpled it and left it laying unattached. I couldn't even get it to stick back to the dash, because they broke the glue seal on the bottom, which was attached to the dash. I can't for the life of me figure out why they removed it; just as I can't figure out what they did to my radio. I had never heard of Crones before I read a bunch of five star reviews. I always check reviews in a variety of sources, including Yelps, before making major service decisions. That's how I found Crones. I took my car to three places for estimates. All of the estimates were close, but Crones did something which separated them from the other two, which is why I ultimately decided on Crones. Andrew seemed nice; and was INITIALLY polite. Took my vehicle to them for an estimate for repair of a non-covered parking lot hit to the bumper. The estimat was 1-2 hrs of labor and maybe a part which they ordered in case it was needed. I took the vehicle tothem for repair a few days later. They called and said i was ready in 4 hours and when I picked it up theinvoice was for $0. They said the part wasn't needed and the time was not very much so there was no cost. While I hope I don't need their services any time son I will absolutelty return if I do. Had a crash and bought a part recommended by the body shop, which they said that they would fix. Instead, they installed it broken and blamed me all five times when I brought the car back for tweaking, becaue they hadn't done their jobs properly in the first place. Ultimately, I had it fixed somewhere else, after over six hundred dollars worth of work... Getting screamed at and blamed for having a wrecked car by a body shop isn't worth coming back to have more shoddy work done. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE! read more

Crone's fixed my cx-5 after I was in an accident. Initially thought it would be replacing the hood and grill, but once they got the hood off there was a lot more damage. They sent me pics and went over the other damage they found. Picked the car up and it looks great. Matched the paint on the hood perfectly with the rest of the car. I hope I never have any more car damage, but I'll be using Crones if I do. read more

I was selling a vehicle to friends who are long time customers of Crone's. They had asked me if they could have Chad look it over and make sure there were no repairs/issues with the car. I told them I'd be happy to take it down. Chad went over the car that day, found one small item and then called to say it was fixed and ready to be picked up. When I arrived and asked for the bill, he said there was no charge. The issue was minor and the buyers of the vehicle were long time clients and it was the least he could do for them.
