The road is blocked off for cars. We had one person sitting in the car to double park while the rest of us went to Croffle House. Don't be confused with Croffle Factory which is on the same block as Croffle House. They have outdoor seating. The inside is decently spaced even when a lot of people came in with us. The staff was eager to help us right when we enter. The croffle were so aesthetic. I got the ang croffle (red bean and butter), grape croffle, mango croffle, strawberry croffle, and the blueberry cream cheese croffle. The mango was hard but it was still good. I would say the mango and the strawberry croffle were my favorite out of all the ones I got. The ang butter was cool and the butter really went well with the croffle texture, but I was never a red bean fan. As for the texture of the croffle, it reminds me of cornets from Mitsuwa. I love those. Ask staff on macaroon availability because they were selling but didn't have it on display on Sunday. I got the berry cheddar flavored macaroon. There is a cheese cracker in the middle of the macaroon. It was a very interesting combination- I love that they offer such unique options. I also got the berry crunch. Wow, this spot sure lives up to the hype! I kept seeing it around since it's the first croffle spot that's opened up in Queens (AND they have mochi donuts!) so I've been wanting to go for a while and was able to recently visit. I came in the late afternoon (~3PM) and there was still a ton of people inside but they actually had plently of croffles and mochi donuts, and still some being freshly made as well! The service was great! The staff was super friendly and patient as I was deciding what to order. I ended up getting an iced yuzu tea which was very refreshing and perfect for this hot day. I also ordered several croffles (blueberry cream cheese, strawberry whipped cream and mango whipped cream) along with some mochi donuts (green tea chocolate and black sesame chocolate). They certainly had a variety of different toppings for the croffles and are still coming out with new, unique ones such as a one with red bean and butter. The croffles were great! Even though they were sitting with toppings already and waiting to be placed for each person's order, they weren't soggy and had a crisp outer layer while still having several layers (as a croissant should) on the inside. The fruits were all fresh and just a nice topping but I would enjoy a plain croffle just as much! As for the mochi donuts, I did enjoy them but felt that it may have been over-hyped since they were known to sell out fast. They were still good; a bit of a chew on the inside as it should but I think it could have more of that mochi-like texture. Since it was a hot day, the glaze on top were also melting so make sure to eat them sooner rather than later, especially since it's starting to get warmer out! Came here early last weekend and we got two mochi donuts and two of their croffle. I've had mochi donuts before from somewhere else and I didn't like them, but these were SO GOOD. A little bit overhyped, but still a cute dessert option around Flushing! I don't know what I was expecting, but these are literally just croissants put into a waffle maker plus some toppings. My friend and I ordered one Mango Whipped Cream and one Blueberry Cream Cheese to share. I wish they were made to order (although I understand this doesn't make sense during busy hours) because I think they'd taste better if the croissant was still hot and extra crispy from the waffle maker. Ours were crispy, but not warm anymore. UPDATE: 3/7/2021 2:30pm Came back with a family member for their birthday to try other croffles and drinks. Got the grape one and it's definitely not something I would get again. The grapes weren't sweet and it didn't go well with the croffle and whipped cream. Took off the grapes and enjoyed the plain dessert. We both got an iced mocha latte with soy as they were out of oat milk until Monday and it was good but I liked the Nutella better. Once again the mochi donuts were sold out today, cashier said the last one was sold at 2:00pm. Came for some croffles on a Saturday at 4:45pm and was glad to see they still had some of each flavor left. The mochi donuts were sold out but I didn't care since I'm not mochi donut fan. I heard the cashier tell the customers they make about 5,000 of the mochi donuts a day and they sell out by 1pm on weekends and 3pm on weekdays. Their hours are 10-8pm so if you want these donuts, go earlier in the day or call them before going to ask if they still have any. For the croffles I got the berry cheesecake, strawberry whipped and chocolate. They were all so good and not too sweet, very airy and the flavors of each topping complimented each other well with the croffle. The egg tarts were tasty too and not too sweet, don't forget to try. Unfortunately the macarons were not a favorite from the flavors we got; strawberry crunch, chocolate and strawberry. A family member we sad it tasted like medicine when they tried the strawberry crunch and my toddler wasn't a fan. I also ordered an iced Nutella soy latte that wasn't bad, not as flavorful as I wanted it to be but it was good. I wanted oat milk but they didn't receive their shipment in yet that day. I love the atmosphere and decor, very nice and bright. It's not as spruced up as other Korean cafes in Flushing but their selling point, the croffles, are amazing! The cream/toppings tasted like your typical Paris Baguette/TLJ cake toppings but complimented the croffle very well. I would say I liked the sweet flavors more than the savory ones. They even have a beautiful and solid outdoor seating area, complete with wooden tables, seats and a sliding door for privacy. I arrived on a weekend afternoon around 2PM and the mochi donuts were sold out already. A lot of the croffles were gone as well, but they are continuously refilling the batches. What is a croffle? A croffle is a sinfully delicious pastry that combines a croissant and a waffle and just blows your mind. Croffle House is one of the newest dessert spots to hit Flushing and opened back in January, and is fantastic! The mochi donuts are super popular and are always sold out by the afternoon, so I suggest grabbing them as early as you can. There are a variety of flavors to choose from, and there are boxes if you want to try multiple flavors. I ordered half a dozen mochi donuts ($15) and two croffles. I tried 6 different flavors of mochi donuts (Black Sesame Chocolate, Green Tea Chocolate, Dark Chocolate, Oreo, Strawberry, and Purple Sweet Potato). I enjoyed the Black Sesame Chocolate and Green Tea Chocolate the most. They weren't very sweet and had a great subtle taste, especiallythe Black Sesame. The Strawberry was a bit sweeter but tasted really great as well. The Dark Chocolate and Oreo were okay and tasted like a regular donut, and were definitely sweeter. The Purple Sweet Potato was interesting and definitely unique, and was somewhat sweet. I recommend trying all of the flavors at least once to find your favorite flavor(s). I also had the Nutella croffle ($4.25) and the Strawberry Whipped Cream ($4.75) and was mindblown. The Nutella was delicious and came with a banana slice on top. If you love bananas and Nutella, this is a great dessert! I also enjoyed the Strawberry Whipped Cream as it has fresh fruit and wasn't nearly as sweet as the Nutella. With delivery, you never know how fresh you're getting an item and it was a Sunday...but the sesame was so great and fresh! For some reason the chocolate just had more of a candy bar chocolate vibe and less of delicious decadent chocolate feel but the lemon was also great! Sheeeeesh, we decided to check this place out after we visited Mahsil which is down the block give or take. We had a strawberry mochi donut, a Nutella banana croffle, and a strawberry croffle. I've never had a mochi donut so this is a first review for it in general. It was crazy good, super chewy, the strawberry flavor felt pure. I definitely had tweeted about it multiple times throughout my day because of how good it way. If they have any in Texas I'm for sure gonna make my way back. Personally Mochi donut over Shipleys.
